Something caught his attention on the System map.
The final target marker wasn’t moving. But its position was strange. It wasn’t deep inside the building. It was beneath it.
Nobody stared. "...Underground?"

Nobody looked at the facility. "Of course." He immediately ran toward the main building.
Several enemies followed. Nobody activated Zig Zag.
FLASH.
He appeared inside. The attackers followed him through the doorway.
Nobody continued running. His Night Vision revealed a long corridor. At the end was an old freight elevator. Nobody pressed the button.
Nothing happened.
He looked at the doors. "...Seriously?"
The metallic enemies entered the corridor.
Nobody stepped backward. He looked at the elevator. Then at the enemies. Then back at the elevator. "Fine." He raised his crowbar. Cold energy spread across the elevator doors. He struck the center. The metal froze. He struck it again.
The doors split apart. Behind them was a dark elevator shaft.
Nobody looked down. "...This is definitely not safe."
The System responded.

Nobody sighed. "You could at least pretend to encourage me."
He jumped. His body dropped into the shaft.
The enemies followed. Nobody activated Zig Zag.
FLASH.
He disappeared.
He reappeared on a lower platform. The metallic enemies landed behind him. Nobody immediately ran.
The underground facility was enormous. Old pipes ran along the ceiling. Dim red lights illuminated the walls. The air felt heavier here. The strange aura was much stronger.
Nobody slowed down. His System marker pointed forward. "Almost there." Then he heard something.
A faint voice. "Help..."
Nobody stopped. His expression changed. He immediately ran toward it. The voice came from behind a metal door. Nobody reached it. He placed his hand against the door. "Hey." The voice went quiet. Nobody lowered his voice. "I’m here to help."
A small voice answered. "...Are you the bunny?"
Nobody smiled. "Yeah."
The door opened slightly. A young child looked through the gap. The child’s face was frightened.
Nobody crouched. "Come on."
The child hesitated. "There are monsters outside."
Nobody looked over his shoulder. The metallic enemies were approaching. "Yeah." He nodded. "There are."
The child looked terrified.
Nobody extended his hand. "But they aren’t getting you."
The child slowly reached out. Nobody took their hand.
The System immediately appeared.

Nobody smiled. "Finally."
Then the System changed.

Nobody froze. All the markers on the map disappeared. For several seconds, he simply stared. "...I did it."
The child looked at him. "Did we win?"
Nobody looked down. Then smiled. "Yeah." He gently patted the child’s head. "We won."
But the System wasn’t finished.
Another notification appeared.

Then the entire underground facility shook. The floor trembled beneath their feet. Dust fell from the ceiling.
Nobody immediately looked around.
The strange aura intensified.
The child grabbed his coat. "What happened?"
Nobody looked toward the corridor. "...I don’t know."
The System suddenly displayed a warning.

Nobody’s expression hardened. "Wait."
He looked at the metallic enemies. Their bodies were changing again. The metal covering their skin began spreading. Their eyes started glowing.
Nobody slowly stepped in front of the child. "System."

A massive image appeared in front of him. The footage showed a completely different location. A dark room, a desk, several screens and sitting in front of them... A man.
Nobody stared. "Who is that?"
The System couldn’t answer.
But the man in the footage suddenly turned his head. Straight toward the camera. As if he could somehow see Nobody watching. The man smiled.
Nobody’s expression slowly changed. "...He knows."
The screen flickered. Then the footage abruptly changed. A different image appeared. A shadow. A distorted figure standing behind the man.
Nobody stared at it. Something about that silhouette felt familiar.
The System displayed one final message.

Nobody tightened his grip. "So..." He looked at the metallic enemies surrounding him. "All of this...kidnapping" Then toward the strange footage. "Connected with them..."
The underground facility shook again. A deep vibration traveled through the walls. The child held onto Nobody’s coat.
Nobody looked down. "Don’t worry." He stood. "I’ll get you out." His eyes returned to the metallic enemies. "And then..." He raised his frost crowbars. "...I’m going to find out exactly who has been messing with these childrens."
The lights suddenly went out. Darkness swallowed the underground facility.
Nobody’s Night Vision activated. Dozens of metallic silhouettes appeared around him.
Nobody smiled. "Alright." He stepped forward. "One last fight."
The child remained safely behind him.

The underground facility had gone completely dark.
Only the faint glow coming from the metallic bodies of the enhanced men illuminated the enormous room.
Nobody stood between them and the child.
His frost crowbars were held firmly in both hands.
The System window remained suspended beside him.

"Good." Nobody closed the footage. The screen disappeared. He looked at the enemies surrounding him. "Now I can focus."
One of the metallic men stepped forward. His body had become almost completely covered in silver-like material. He cracked his neck. "You aren’t leaving this place."
Nobody smiled. "That’s what everyone keeps saying."
The man charged. Nobody waited until the final moment. His super reflexes reacted to the movement. The metallic fist came toward his face. Nobody shifted his head to the side. The fist passed by. He immediately brought his right crowbar across the man’s arm. The impact forced the attacker’s arm downward.
Nobody stepped inside his range and struck the man’s chest with the other crowbar. The metallic surface cracked slightly.
The man stumbled.
Nobody’s eyes widened. "...That actually worked."
The System appeared.

Nobody grinned. "Now that’s useful."
The metallic man roared and swung both arms. Nobody stepped backward. The first attack passed in front of him. The second came from the opposite direction.
Nobody crossed his crowbars. The impact pushed him backward, but he maintained his balance. He immediately activated Zig Zag Teleportation.
FLASH.
He disappeared.
The metallic man looked around. Nobody reappeared above him. He dropped down and brought both crowbars directly onto the man’s shoulders. The frost energy spread across the metallic surface. The man’s legs buckled.
Nobody landed behind him. Then kicked him forward. The metallic body crashed into a stack of old machinery. The machine collapsed around him.

Nobody looked at the notification. "One."
The remaining enemies charged. This time, they came together. Nobody didn’t retreat. He rushed toward them.
The first man swung. Nobody blocked. Another tried attacking his side. He ducked. A third attempted to grab him. Nobody teleported.
FLASH.
He vanished between them. The attackers collided.
Nobody appeared behind the group. He immediately struck one man’s knee.
The metallic reinforcement cracked. The man dropped. Nobody spun and struck another attacker across the jaw.
The man staggered.
A third came from behind. Nobody’s reflexes reacted before he even turned completely. He raised his crowbar. The weapon collided with the attacker’s arm.
Nobody pushed forward. The enemy lost balance. Nobody swept his leg away. Another one fell.
The System continued counting.

Nobody moved from one opponent to the next. He wasn’t wasting energy. Every strike targeted joints. Every teleport created distance. Every opening was used immediately.
The metallic bodies were strong, but their movements were becoming predictable. Their power came from reinforcement.
Nobody’s advantage came from experience.
One enemy rushed toward the child.
Nobody’s expression immediately changed. "Wrong target." He vanished.
FLASH.
He appeared directly in front of the attacker. The man’s fist stopped inches from Nobody’s face. Nobody had caught his wrist. The attacker tried pulling away.
Nobody tightened his grip. "You’re not getting anywhere near him." He swung the crowbar into the man’s elbow.
The metallic reinforcement cracked. The man fell to one knee. Nobody struck his shoulder. The attacker collapsed.
The child watched from behind him.
Nobody turned his head slightly. "Stay behind me."
The child nodded. Several more enemies rushed forward.
Nobody sighed. "Alright." He spun both crowbars. "Let’s finish this."
The next few minutes became a blur of movement. Nobody moved through the underground chamber like a blue streak.
He teleported between attackers. He dodged heavy punches by fractions of a second. His super reflexes allowed him to react to attacks that would have caught an ordinary fighter. His frost crowbars gradually weakened the metallic reinforcement.
One attacker tried trapping him against a wall. Nobody teleported above him. Another tried following his movement.
Nobody changed direction in mid-teleport. Zig Zag carried him behind the attacker. He struck the man’s back. The attacker fell.
Another came immediately. Nobody blocked. The force shook his arms. He gritted his teeth. "You’re strong." He pushed the attacker away.
"But I’m faster."
