The grand office fell into an expectant, heavy stillness as Lynx’s eyes remained fixed on the glowing blue window that only he could perceive.
Floating in mid air right beside the ethereal beauty sitting at the desk, the system interface laid bare the absolute peak of student talent within the empire:
[Name: Eleanor Haleborn

[Hidden Blessing — Temporal Rewind] – Slows the flow of time by 30% for 3 seconds for everyone except herself and those she permits. Can also rewind a single action she took in the last 3 seconds.

Titles: Prodigy — Number 1 Blessed talent of Aether Empire. Learns 40% faster than anyone else.]
[System NOTE: Eleanor is the Number 1 beauty of Aether Blessed Academy, followed by her four escorts. She possesses a Hidden Blessing.... meaning neither she nor anyone else knows about its existence. You must gain her respect first and then add her to your harem, alongside her four girls. Only you can unlock her hidden blessing.]
Below the stats, another golden box materialized, glowing with a ominous red outline:
[Quest: Gain Eleanor’s respect or make her think highly of you during this meeting by any means.
Reward: APS points will reach the 100,000 mark.
Failure: –3 inches to your cock size.]
Lynx’s heterochromatic blue and silver eyes shimmered faintly as his mind spiraled through a dozen rapid thoughts.
"A hidden affinity? Time?"
With his Primordial Vision he had scanned hundreds of humans since he came to this world. Blessed Humans, Normal Humans...wealthy ones.. and those Commoners he visited with Amira, and Eleanor was the absolute first person to ever possess a hidden affinity. Time.
The Human Continent Blessed only has the 5 Affinities... and Eleanor has an affinity that’s not among the 5 Human Blessed Affinity. She has a Time Affinity.
The potential was utterly monstrous. If he could unlock that hidden blessing for her and help her raise its rank, combined with her lethal S Rank Lightning affinity and Sovereign Thunderclap, she would become an untouchable goddess on the battlefield.
If he could sleep with her, acquire her Time Affinity after it’s unlocked and her Blessings. He would become more lethal than he is. Very lethal.
And then there was the quest penalty. The system had never threatened him with a punishment before. Losing three inches of his pride was a fate far worse than death.
"Not that I was going to fail anyway," Lynx thought with a surge of cold arrogance. "The top five beauties of this academy are all mine. System or no system, I’m taking her... and her four enforcers."
The entire mental breakdown, stat scan, and system evaluation took place in less than two seconds. To anyone else, it was barely a blink.
However, Eleanor was no ordinary observer.
Sitting behind her dark oak desk, her sharp purple eyes caught the subtle flicker in his gaze. She noticed the faint, golden ring around his heterochromatic eyes glowing momentarily.
The slight stiffening of his shoulders as if he were perceiving something invisible to the rest of the world.
It was so fast that even a Strong Blessed would have missed it, but Eleanor’s refined senses picked up on the anomaly instantly.
"Hello, Lynx," Eleanor said, her voice smooth, melodic, and carrying a natural royal weight as she set her porcelain cup down onto its saucer with a delicate clink.
Lynx held her gaze without shifting an inch. Unbothered by the heavy atmosphere, he unceremoniously pulled out the plush leather chair directly across from her desk, sat down, and crossed his legs, while allowing his a tiny bit aura to leak faintly... not causing damage, just adding to his charm.
Behind him, Layla, Iris, Rhea, and Nadia instantly stiffened. Their gazes locking onto the back of his neck like predatory hawks tracking a bold target.
No student below Year 4... and certainly no Year 2... had ever walked into the Queen’s office and sat down like he owned the place.
Lynx didn’t care. He leaned back, resting his arm over the dark wood, and let a smooth, magnetic smirk spread across his face.
"Hello, Eleanor Haleborn," Lynx replied casually, his deep voice carrying an effortless charm. "Queen of Aether Blessed Academy."
A faint flicker of genuine surprise crossed Eleanor’s flawless face before her aristocratic composure smoothed it away.
Even her fellow Year 4s addressed her as "The Queen" or "Lady Haleborn." Hearing her full name spoken so casually by an eighteen year old Year 2 student was a first.
Up close, Eleanor found herself evaluating him just as deeply. The live streams about him she watched didn’t do him justice.
He wasn’t just handsome, his presence was almost divine. His skin held a subtle, radiant sheen unique to his ’five’ affinity soul, his silver Blessed mark gleamed on his forehead, and his black uniform framed a broad, sculpted chest that radiated power.
The silence stretched between them for several seconds, heavy with unstated power dynamics.
Behind Lynx, Layla exchanged a brief, uneasy look with Nadia. Iris narrowed her silver eyes, while Rhea remained motionless, all four of them stunned by the sheer audacity of the Year 2 student sitting casually before their leader.
Eleanor rested her chin lightly on her delicate, fingers, her purple eyes narrowing slightly as she broke the silence.
"Do you know why I summoned you here, Lynx?"
Lynx tilted his head, his eyes sweeping over her sharp facial features, her lush, dark purple hair, and the full curves straining against her golden uniform.
"Not a clue," Lynx said smoothly. His tone wasn’t overly arrogant, nor was it timid like a sheep bowing to authority.
He was well aware of his own traits now. His charm had evolved beyond standard human or normal Blessed limits it was Transcendental.
His body naturally radiated an irresistible aura that drew the eyes of women, making his voice sound smoother, his posture more commanding, and his presence unforgettable.
He knew Eleanor the Queen of the Aether Blessed Academy won’t fall easily. Her four escorts hadn’t instantly fallen at his feet when they met in the cafeteria.
But at the end of the day, no matter how powerful her Affinity or Title was, she was still a woman.
And Lynx knew exactly how to play his cards to win this quest.
A confident, amused smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he thought through his strategy.
Eleanor raised an eyebrow at his expression. "Care to share what’s so amusing? You seem quite pleased with yourself."
Lynx realized he had let his inner thoughts show on his face, but he didn’t falter for a single millisecond. He leaned forward slightly, resting his elbows on the oak desk, his heterochromatic eyes burning into hers.
"I was just admiring the view," Lynx said smoothly, his voice dropping an octave into a rich, magnetic baritone. "The Academy rumors about you really didn’t lie. You truly are the most beautiful girl in this entire academy."
Behind him, Nadia let out a sharp, quiet scoff at his brazen flirtation, while Layla’s fiery eyes narrowed.
Eleanor however, didn’t blush. She didn’t scowl, nor did she posture like an offended noble. Being the top talent and beauty of the empire, compliments were as common to her as breathing air.
She had heard every sweet word and grand declaration from Young handsome guys, Influential people, Blessed Beings, from this Empire and Beyond.
Yet, as Lynx spoke those words, something felt subtly different.
The sheer sincerity and raw, unshakeable confidence carrying his voice didn’t feel like flattery.
His Transcendental charm laced every syllable, making the compliment land with an unexpected, heavy weight against her chest.
Her heart gave a tiny, imperceptible thud behind her gold trimmed uniform, though her face remained a mask of flawless grace.
"Smooth," Eleanor remarked quietly, a subtle, amused smile touching her pink lips. "Is that how you talk to all the girls who invite you to their offices?"
"Only the ones who deserve it," Lynx replied without missing a beat. "Besides this is my first time being in an office that isn’t Professor Rose."
Eleanor took a light breath, shifting slightly in her leather chair as she folded her hands over the desk.
"I called you here to see if the other rumors about you were true as well," she said, her voice turning businesslike, though her purple eyes never left his face.
"Oh?" Lynx raised an eyebrow, genuinely entertained. "Which ones?"
"The rumors that you are completely uncontrollable," Eleanor listed calmly, checking them off on her delicate fingers.
"The rumors that you beat up Professor Jace without using a single stats-boosting artifact. The rumor that you threatened a group of Year 3s and nearly killed one in the Year 3 boys Building..."
She smirked "...and the rumor that you are the most handsome student in the academy, if not the entire empire, or if it was just clever screen editing by those who usually posts your pictures and videos on Instalite."
She paused, letting the heavy list hang in the quiet room.
The four girls standing behind Lynx held their breath. Hearing the Queen list out his insane list of campus disruptions brought back the sheer absurdity of Lynx’s short time at Aetherion.
He was a Year 2 student acting like an absolute emperor, completely disregarding every unwritten rule of the academy.
Lynx didn’t look bothered in the slightest. Instead, he let out a low, amused chuckle, his eyes sparkling with absolute confidence as he leaned back into his chair.
"Well..." Lynx smiled, his heterochromatic eyes locking onto Eleanor’s striking purple gaze with a blinding, breathtaking charm that radiated pure masculine dominance.
"Have you gotten your answer for that last rumor yet?"
Eleanor stared at him, taking in his flawless jawline, his glowing heterochromatic eyes, and the sheer, unshakeable aura of a man who feared nothing under the heavens.
A slow, captivating smile broke across the Academy Queen’s lips as she gave a single, deliberate nod.
"Yes," Eleanor murmured smoothly. "I believe I have."
Lynx’s grin widened.
