Yumi hadn't expected Jihoon to cry, and she felt flustered for a moment, knowing that even when he lost both parents, he had never shed tears in front of her.
"Jihoon, why are you crying? What's wrong? Tell Mom... Are you feeling sick somewhere?" Yumi sat up quickly, completely flustered. She shook him gently, but Jihoon stayed silent.
“Was it because of what Mom said earlier? Did I hurt your feelings?”
After a while, Yumi seemed to realize something. When he heard that, Jihoon turned his head away again and kept crying quietly.
"Jihoon, Mom sincerely apologizes. I'm sorry. Please don't be sad anymore, okay?" Yumi embraced him from behind, whispering softly.
From the scene, Yumi and Jihoon appeared to be nearly the same height, though Jihoon was much more muscular.
If you ignored the “Mom” part, it looked exactly like a couple having a fight, with the woman trying to soothe her angry, heartbroken man.
"Mom, have I done something wrong lately? Why aren't you as kind to me as before?"
After calming down for a moment, Jihoon finally stopped crying.
Perhaps only when he cried could I sense that he was still a minor.
He finally spoke what was in his heart. He knew he needed answers tonight.
After losing his parents, Yumi was the person closest to him and the one he cared about most.
In her, he felt genuine love, a love he divided into two kinds: maternal and familial love, versus romantic love.
“Sigh… Jihoon, you’re overthinking it. You haven’t done anything wrong. You’re a good boy, it’s just…”
Yumi finally understood why Jihoon had been so distressed lately.
Days prior, she'd noticed him repeatedly holding back words and his spirits clearly lower than before.
She'd asked him about it, but he hadn't spoken.
Now she finally knew the reason. Yet some things Yumi couldn't bring herself to say aloud.
She couldn't tell Jihoon—after all, he was entering adolescence.
To avoid any negative influence, she'd been keeping her distance.
"Just what?"
Jihoon couldn't help but ask, his face brimming with intense curiosity.
“It’s just that you’ve grown up. Mom is a woman, so we should keep a proper distance. Otherwise it might affect your growth in a bad way. You’re a big boy now. You shouldn’t always want Mom to sleep with you, right?”
Of course Jihoon understood. He knew Yumi had realized he was sexually mature and was keeping distance for his own good.
"Mom, I understand. Let's sleep..."
After saying this, Jihoon covered his face with both hands and fell silent.
"Jihoon..."
Yumi looked helplessly at his expression, unsure what to say.
“Mom, you don’t need to say anything. I get it. I’m just used to having you take care of me. I’m used to everything being like this. After losing my parents, you’re my only support. I know you’re doing it for my own good, but I’m just not used to it yet. It feels like there’s no love left in the world. Don’t worry, Mom. I’ll get used to it. Just give me some time…”
Jihoon kept his hands over his face while he spoke in a muffled, choked voice.
Those words might have been sincere.
To Yumi, the devotion in his eyes wasn't fake. She held an ever-growing place in his heart.
Seeing how hurt he felt when he witnessed Yumi and I being intimate, or when she scolded him because she cared about me, as a man, I could understand that pain.
I could see it from the perspective of a man watching the woman he loves.
While watching this part of the video, I went back to the night I had fucked Yumi to assert my claim.
Sure enough, Jihoon hadn’t been sleeping.
Midway through our lovemaking, he got up and opened the door.
My heavy breathing and Yumi's moans drifted into Jihoon's bedroom.
Annoyed, he slammed the door shut, then lay down on his bed, covering his ears.
Of course he knew what those sounds meant... his goddess was under another man, moaning in pleasure.
But even with his ears plugged, he couldn’t block out Yumi’s sweet, soul-melting cries.
In the end he gave up, gripped the bedsheet with both hands like he wanted to tear it.
His face twisted with rage and pain.
I hadn't anticipated my move to claim her would hit him this hard.
I had achieved my goal of marking my territory, but I had no idea what the consequences would be.
On top of that, Yumi had been keeping some distance from him because of what I said.
Yet he wouldn't vent his anger at Yumi...only sink into heartbreaking despair.
Yumi recalled that it had only been a few months since Jihoon lost his parents, and she had deliberately distanced herself from him due to certain matters.
His words made hesitation and doubt flash across her face. Had she really done the wrong thing?
At the very least, she should have allowed Jihoon to fully adjust before expecting him to stand on his own.
“I’m sorry, Jihoon. Mom didn’t think it through. I only thought about you growing up, but I forgot you’ve already been through the biggest storm of your life—one that Mom hasn’t even experienced yet.”
Yumi was referring to the loss of parents.
Indeed, though older than Jihoon, her own parents were still alive; she had never experienced the pain of losing them.
“Don’t be sad anymore. Mom was wrong and didn’t think enough. From now on, I'll sleep with you every night, okay? We’ll go back to how we were before, alright?”
Yumi turned Jihoon's face toward her, gently wiping away his tears with her slender fingers.
In that moment, her heart finally melted.
“Really?” Jihoon’s face was still wet with tears, like he couldn’t quite believe it.
“Really. But when your dad is home, we can’t. And you have to promise Mom you’ll study hard. If your grades drop, Mom will make you sleep alone as punishment, okay?”
Seeing Jihoon's excited expression, a flicker of tenderness crossed Yumi's eyes.
She probably never imagined how important she was to Jihoon, who had poured the affection meant for both parents onto her.
"Okay, it's a deal..."
"You have my word..."
“Pinkie promise…”
After sealing the deal, Yumi leaned in and gave a light kiss on Jihoon’s dark, full lips.
Then she turned off the bedroom light, cradled him in her arms, and drifted off to sleep together...
Watching this part of the video, I couldn’t help cursing inside: Fuck.
I'd done so much groundwork with Yumi before leaving, finally making her grow distant from Jihoon.
Never did I expect that behind my back, this little bastard would use this "“pitiful act" to undo it all.
I knew it clearly—the first round, I had lost...
