My Hidden Heresy Skill Forged an SSS-Ranked Harem for Infinite Points

Chapter 212: Waking Up in the Lap of an SS-Rank Dragoness

After distancing himself from the village, Ryan decided to reach the top of the hill in the middle of the night.

The idea that William could teleport to the exact place where he was sleeping within the walls of the village was something completely repulsive.

’Even though I am still not sure exactly what range that skill has. I will feel much calmer if I spend the night far away from the village.’ Ryan thought after arriving at the hill and sitting down.

After observing everything all around him and realizing that there was absolutely no one nearby, and not noticing anyone else in the distance either. He rested his back against a tree at the top and made himself comfortable.

Despite the cold weather and the strong freezing wind, it did not bother him in the slightest. He remained resting in that place, thinking that there were still many hours left before Ivis would arrive.

After all, it was not even midnight yet.

Then...

Ryan began to inspect his own statistics.

"Status." He pronounced, and the system window immediately became visible right before him.

’In terms of specialization, William has more statistics than me; I think I will have to correct that very soon. Even adding those points I already had and the ones I gained with Ophelia, it will still be too little.’

After organizing his thoughts, he remembered that he had not yet checked the new skill he had acquired right in front of the demon queen.

"Skill." He murmured, and the window unfolded with the full list of all his skills.

While he observed and read, reviewing each and every one of his skills, he thought that now, with the SS rank and the extra skills, he had more than enough tools at his disposal to neutralize entire groups of enemies.

’And that new damage reduction skill will be incredibly useful... I truly cannot wait to use them.’ He remained seated, with his back resting against the tree, observing the clear sky entirely covered in stars, and the bright moon.

He also reflected on exactly how his journey would have been if he had brought the girls from his party along with him on this trip.

Ryan smiled slightly.

"They probably would have caused a much larger uproar than the one that actually broke out. I think they might have even ended up fighting against Janina, although I highly doubt she is anywhere near as patient as Ivis." Ryan murmured.

Then he let out a heavy sigh.

"The SS-rank heroes are finally appearing. I truly did not expect William to be one of them. I must make my women surpass that level as soon as possible."

After spending some time organizing his ideas, he finally decided to go to sleep.

There was no immediate danger nearby, and, most probably, if anyone approached with bad intentions, he would notice it right away.

...

The night passed completely normally. Ryan slept peacefully throughout the remaining hours.

Then, when dawn arrived, he began to feel the cold breeze hit his face and an unusual comfort right beneath his head.

Ryan opened his eyes, and the very first thing he saw was the silhouette of a green-haired beauty with a notable horn protruding perfectly from the center of her forehead.

"You are finally awake." The woman said with total tranquility.

"Ivis, at what exact moment did you arrive?" Ryan responded without getting up.

Upon noticing that he was currently resting right upon the dragon woman’s lap, he added:

"I do not believe this is at all like you. Why are you taking such liberties?"

"My Lady Ophelia found out that you and I almost fought back in the dungeon, so... she insistently ordered me to treat you well." The dragoness added. "I truly hope you haven’t done anything weird to my lady." Ivis said, looking at him with clear suspicion.

Ryan did not respond to her provocation; he began to think about that special treatment Ophelia had explicitly asked Ivis to give him.

’I sincerely doubt she was referring to this kind of treatment.’ Ryan thought to himself, without moving his head, observing Ivis from below and noticing exactly how her figure blocked out a part of the landscape.

’This brings back some memories. It was in this exact same manner that I first woke up in this world.’ Ryan recalled as he got to his feet.

"You should have woken me up. Exactly how much time did I spend like this?" Ryan asked.

"You were sleeping quite peacefully, so, since I am not in any hurry either, I cared very little if you continued sleeping. In fact, I actually wanted to rest myself." She responded, letting out an annoyed sigh.

Ryan took off the scarf and the cheap adventurer’s jacket he was wearing. He stored them in his inventory, took out his dark trench coat, and put it on.

"Alright, we should get going now, Ivis."

He said while extending his hand to help her get up from the ground, since she still remained in the exact same position in which she had kept Ryan resting on her lap.
