My Hidden Heresy Skill Forged an SSS-Ranked Harem for Infinite Points
Chapter 253: The Army in the SkyAfter giving the definitive order in the lounge, the group began to move with complete synchrony. Ryan walked out of the warmth of his home, stepping outside with firm strides.
Walking right beside him were his powerful and beautiful warriors, all wearing the brand new, gleaming white combat uniforms that Alisa had tailored for them.
When they stepped out into the villa’s large dirt courtyard, they encountered a rather noisy scene.
There stood the three wyverns waiting patiently under the clear morning light, swaying their heavy tails and letting out soft growls upon seeing their master.
Irina looked at them with great strangeness, blinking a couple of times as she noticed the large, ferocious winged creatures ready to depart.
"If Miss Karol is with us, they are not necessary at all, or are we taking them anyway?" the elven princess asked with genuine curiosity.
She knew perfectly well that the blue-haired mage’s flight magic was more than enough to transport the entire main group without any physical effort, as long as Ryan was there to recharge her mana.
"I brought them here myself," Alicia replied, taking a step forward to clear up her companion’s doubt.
"His Majesty thought they will be very useful tools on the battlefield. If the enemies try to escape by flying after being cornered, they can be chased down much faster using the wyverns’ natural speed."
Ryan listened to his loyal assistant’s flawless explanation and kept his expression completely serious in front of the group.
’Right, although thinking that everything will turn out in our favor is just being far too optimistic about our results,’ Ryan thought to himself.
’No. Even if this whole massive attack gets complicated, I will make our plan work at all costs. I must not show a single trace of doubt or distrust on my face at this very moment. After all, each and every one of them trusts me blindly and will put their lives in danger for my orders.’
With that unwavering determination in his mind, Ryan stepped forward with utmost confidence and walked right through the middle of the massive scaly beasts.
"That is right," he said with a deep voice, confirming Alicia’s logical words, and then slowly turned toward the girls in his assault group.
"So, Karol, Irina, and Mirian." He called them by their names, pointing at each of them to assign their roles once and for all.
"You three will be the ones using them as mounts during the invasion of the castle, and of course, you will also be in charge of looking after them amidst the chaos."
Ryan stood in front of the three large wyverns, evaluating each of them with a sharp gaze.
"Well... let us see," he murmured, making the tactical decision in a matter of seconds.
"Vel will go with Irina," Ryan ordered, pointing to the main and largest wyvern, which let out a soft, happy growl upon hearing its own name.
"Rix will go with Karol, and the last one, Nyx, will fly being controlled by Mirian," Ryan finished ordering, pointing at the other two winged reptiles awaiting commands.
"Eh? Wait a moment, stop right there, at what point did you give names to all of them?" Mirian immediately asked.
"That does not matter right now. Let us head straight to the portal," Ryan replied, evading the question with an extremely authoritative and sharp tone.
"Yes!" they all said in unison, obeying their king’s firm order without daring to talk back again.
And just as Ryan said, they began to walk, gently guiding the wyverns toward the magical portal’s bright entrance.
As they advanced toward the light, Alicia stepped a little closer to Ryan to deliver her final and vital military logistics report.
"Your Majesty, just as you instructed me yesterday afternoon, I personally distributed all the defensive relics that Runa and Mika created locked up in the forge."
Alicia explained, keeping a quick and firm pace right beside her ruler.
"They were only able to gather enough materials to cover half of all the elves who will go to battle today, but... at least that small group will be able to protect themselves much more."
So, after that useful strategy conversation, they approached the villa’s large portal light and crossed it without a moment’s hesitation.
When they stepped out of the transporting light onto the other side, the tactical panorama was absolutely breathtaking to behold.
All the elven soldiers and the muscular beastmen warriors were already gathered, heavily armed and perfectly formed in ranks inside the immense, dark one hundredth floor of the ancient sky dungeon.
All ready to spill enemy blood on the ice for the honor of their respected ruler.
And Ivis was also present there, standing in front of the troops with her usual relaxed posture, arms crossed and wearing a defiant smile on her beautiful face.
When everyone present in the room finally saw Ryan’s figure wrapped in his new white suit arrive, total silence flooded the immense gray stone hall.
Each and every one of the fierce inhabitants greeted him at the same time with a deep, synchronized, and respectful bow, acknowledging their king’s absolute and indisputable authority.
Ryan did not stop at the display of pure respect, and everyone immediately began to advance through the wide hallways.
Ryan’s powerful main group positioned themselves at the head of them all, guiding them with a firm pace from the safe one hundredth floor up the stairs leading to the first floor.
With no major delay or obstacles in their own territory, everyone quickly reached the gigantic hall on the dungeon’s first floor.
And without wasting a single second of their precious time, Karol began to activate her area-of-effect flight magic over the entire army.
The warm, silver-colored magical light enveloped the troops, immediately granting them the incredible ability to defy the world’s gravity.
Under that useful and massive magical influence, each of the strong elven soldiers and agile beastmen quickly crossed through the massive portal into the outside world, ready for the great march in the sky.
The troops flew out into the open sky like a horde of furious wasps, clearing the immense, cold stone hall in a matter of mere minutes.
Leaving only Ryan with his main assault team standing before the large portal’s rippling light.
He evaluated with a quick and critical glance that everyone in his group was completely ready, with their new armor adjusted and their minds focused on the lethal mission.
Upon seeing the unwavering determination in each of their eyes, he nodded at them to head outside.
"Hey, Ryan..." Helen said suddenly, breaking the silence with an unusually soft and extremely low voice.
Ryan stopped his steps toward the exit and looked at her immediately, surprised by the loud warrior’s strange tone entirely devoid of arrogance or anger.
Helen stood to the side of the large room, knowing perfectly well that her tactical role in this massive invasion ended in that very cold stone place.
"You better win this damn fight, okay?" she added with a small but sincere smile on her lips, hiding as best she could her bitter frustration at being left behind while the rest fought to the death.
Ryan noticed the real worry and hidden fear shining in her eyes.
"Do not worry about any of us, leave everything in my hands," Ryan replied with total confidence and poise.
With that, Karol, Irina, and Mirian nimbly mounted the large, scaly backs of the wyverns, adjusted their grips, and prepared to fly out toward the light.
But right before crossing the magical portal’s energy, Mirian couldn’t contain her usual competitive, sharp tongue, and threw a rather mocking comment at her punished companion.
"Hey, Helen," the blonde archer called out from atop her imposing winged mount. "Do not go crazy and kill the holy knights’ prisoner out of pure boredom just because we left you alone here."
Mirian said with a huge, highly provocative smile, and without waiting for a violent reaction, she and her wyvern quickly flew out across the portal to the outside.
Mirian nimbly escaped through the air before Helen could even open her mouth to respond to the clear insult.
Ryan stared intently at Helen, expecting her to explode into uncontrollable fury, clench her fists, and scream curses as was completely customary for her.
But to his surprise, the black-haired girl was unusually calm, simply crossing her arms over her chest in complete and absolute silence.
That passive and mature reaction was somewhat unsettling coming from someone as explosive as her, but Ryan didn’t want to overthink it at such a critical moment in the mission.
So he said goodbye with a simple nod and also stepped out through the portal’s light into the outside world, with the rest of the girls in his main team following closely behind.
Once outside the dark walls of the dungeon, the bright daylight and the cool wind hit them all at once.
Ryan was floating and flying with complete freedom in the immense blue sky, moving through the air currents just like the rest of his soldiers thanks to Karol’s magic.
On his right side in the aerial formation, Ivis remained in her comfortable humanoid form.
Although, to keep herself stable in the air alongside the assault group, she only transformed her back, unfolding immense wings.
The powerful beating of Ivis’s scaly wings generated strong gusts of wind around her, demonstrating just a fraction of her destructive power.
"Hey, Ivis. Are you sure you want to face the wind dragon all by yourself?" Ryan said, suddenly looking at her in the middle of the sky.
