Europe had become a routine.

For the first time in months, St. Claire Entertainment had learned how to divide its artists according to their individual schedules.

Pulse wasn’t always together. Neither was Rhythm.

Luxury brands booked different talents on different days.

Today, Chris and Liliana would be working separately. Something that rarely happened after Carl’s threats.

Unfortunately, both schedules had been signed before the investigation reached its latest breakthrough.

Chris adjusted the microphone clipped to his jacket. Today’s schedule was simple. A live guest appearance at one of Germany’s biggest radio stations.

Pulse would perform two songs from their latest album and participate in a live interview.

Robin checked his watch. "We’re live in twenty minutes."

Leo stretched his shoulders. "This should be easy."

Nathan grinned. "As long as nobody asks embarrassing questions."

River laughed. "They definitely will."

Chris smiled quietly.

Before leaving the hotel, he had kissed Liliana on the forehead.

"I’ll pick you up afterward."

She smiled.

"I’ll wait."

Neither of them imagined, that promise would become impossible to keep.

Across the city, Liliana arrived at an elegant photography studio.

Today’s campaign was for an international luxury lipstick brand. The concept was simple.

Natural beauty. Minimal makeup. A genuine smile.

Emily adjusted Liliana’s outfit one final time.

"Perfect."

Mary looked over the schedule.

"The shoot shouldn’t take more than four hours."

Liliana nodded. "What about everyone else?"

Mary smiled. "Chris is at the radio station. Nicole and Rose have rehearsals. Nicolo is filming another campaign. Everything’s normal."

Liliana smiled. "That’s good."

Thousands of kilometers away, inside Reyes Investigative Services, Victor’s phone slammed onto the desk.

"We found him."

Sarah looked up immediately.

"What?"

Victor held up Harry Finn’s school records.

"The immigration timestamp with the departure date. It’s him."

Sarah’s face turned serious.

"We need to tell Matthew."

Victor nodded. "Now."

Matthew answered before the second ring.

"Victor."

Victor didn’t waste time.

"We identified Carl."

Silence.

Then...

"Who?"

"Harry Finn."

Matthew frowned.

"I don’t recognize the name."

"He grew up with Liliana."

Another silence. Victor continued.

"They attended the same school, Aurelia Academy, and the same class until high school. He lived three streets away from the Sterling’s ancestral house."

Matthew slowly stood.

"...He knew her?"

Victor’s voice became grave.

"No. He grew up watching her. And based on everything we’ve uncovered..." He paused.

"...he followed her to Europe."

Matthew’s blood ran cold.

He immediately grabbed his other phone.

Chris. No answer.

He tried again. Still no answer.

He remembered he was in a live broadcast with Pulse.

"Damn it."

Next, Liliana. No answer.

He frowned.

Again. Voicemail.

Amanda noticed immediately. "What happened?"

Matthew looked pale. "We’re too late."

He called Leo. Can’t be reached.

River. Same.

Aaron. Same.

Nathan. The same.

Robin. Busy.

Everyone was inside the radio station doing a live broadcast. Their phones were off. And Robin might be talking to someone.

Matthew clenched his jaw.

"Mary..." He whispered.

Meanwhile, the lipstick campaign had just paused for lunch.

Liliana excused herself to get some fresh air. She saw that the photography studio overlooked a quiet courtyard filled with flowers and wanted to look around.

She smiled softly. Europe really was beautiful.

Then, someone spoke behind her.

"Lily?"

She froze. That voice, she slowly turned around.

Standing several meters away was a man wearing thick black glasses. His black hair looked neatly combed. He wore a heavy brown jacket despite the warm afternoon. His build appeared noticeably heavier, completely different from Carl De Vera.

For a few seconds, she simply stared. Then recognition slowly appeared.

"...Harry?"

The man smiled warmly. "You remembered."

Liliana’s expression brightened.

"Harry Finn?"

He nodded.

"It’s been a long time."

She laughed softly.

"Oh my goodness. I almost didn’t recognize you."

Harry adjusted his glasses.

"I’ve changed."

"You really have."

She looked at him carefully.

"You used to be..."

She hesitated politely.

He laughed first.

"Chubby?"

She laughed too.

"You said it."

"I know. It’s alright."

He smiled gently.

"I actually gained some weight again."

Liliana smiled.

"I can’t believe you’re here. What are you doing in Germany?"

Harry shrugged casually.

"I moved around Europe after graduation. I do photography now."

He lifted the professional camera hanging from his neck.

"I’ve been covering fashion events."

Liliana nodded.

"That explains it."

She looked genuinely happy to meet someone from home.

"How have you been?"

Harry smiled.

"Good."

"I’ve been watching your career. You’ve done amazingly."

Liliana scratched her cheek shyly.

"I’m still getting used to everything."

"I know."

Harry answered quietly.

"You’ve always been humble."

She laughed.

"You still remember that?"

"I remember..."

He paused.

"...almost everything."

She smiled without thinking much about the answer.

"What about everyone in Sterling Village?" Harry asked.

"How’s Grandma Lucia?"

Liliana smiled warmly.

"She’s healthy. Still taking care of everyone."

Harry nodded. "I figured. And..." He looked at her left hand. "You’re married?"

Liliana instinctively looked at her wedding ring. She forgot to remove it again.

She smiled. "Oh no! This is just an accessory. I’m used to wearing this ring."

"I see. I thought you’re married. But I heard Chris St. Claire confessed the other day. It was on the news and all over social media."

Harry commented. His smile never disappeared.

But somehow, his eyes didn’t match it.

...

Back at the hotel, Matthew finally reached Mary.

She answered immediately. "Chairman?"

"Where’s Liliana?"

Mary looked around. "She was just here."

"Get her. Now."

Matthew’s tone made her heart race.

"What happened?"

"Just find her."

Mary immediately hurried toward the studio floor.

"Lily?"

No answer.

She checked the makeup room. Empty.

Changing room. Empty.

Photography set. Empty.

She frowned.

"Emily."

Emily looked up. "What?"

"Have you seen Lily?"

"I thought she was with you."

Mary’s heartbeat quickened. She hurried outside.

Security guards stood near the entrance.

"Where’s Miss Liliana?"

One guard answered, "She stepped into the courtyard. With someone."

Mary froze. "...Who?"

"A man. He seemed to know her."

...

At the radio station, Pulse had just finished performing their final song.

Thunderous applause filled the studio. The host smiled brightly.

"One last message for your fans?"

Chris smiled toward the microphone.

"Thank you for supporting us. We’ll continue working hard."

The broadcast finally ended. Applause echoed one last time.

Chris immediately reached for his phone and turned it on. The screen lit up.

Twenty-three missed calls.

His father.

Emily, Mary, Victor Reyes and Sarah Clifford.

Several unread messages. His smile disappeared.

A final message from Matthew sat at the top.

CALL ME IMMEDIATELY. THEY FOUND CARL’S REAL IDENTITY. LILIANA MAY BE IN DANGER.

Chris felt the blood drain from his face.

At that exact moment, his phone rang again.

Mary.

He answered instantly.

"Mary!"

Her voice trembled.

"Chris..."

"We can’t find Lily."

Silence.

The world around him stopped. Then Chris ran. Without another word. Without explaining, leaving everyone behind.

Only one thought echoed inside his mind.

Find her. Before it’s too late.
