Three days. Seventy-two hours.

That was how long Liliana Sterling St. Claire had been missing.

The command center inside the German Federal Police Headquarters had become unusually quiet.

The giant board once covered with hopeful leads was now overflowing with photographs, maps, witness reports, and red strings connecting cities across Europe.

From Paris, Milan, Munich, Zurich, Vienna and to every city they had been to.

Every report had been investigated. Every phone call had been answered. Thousands of tips had arrived from across Europe.

Unfortunately, almost all of them were false alarms. Like a man who merely resembled Harry Finn. A tourist wearing black glasses. A photographer carrying the same camera.

Chris hadn’t slept for more than an hour each night. His beard had started to grow. His eyes had become bloodshot. Yet every morning he returned to the command center. He refused to leave until Liliana came home.

Robin walked in carrying another stack of reports.

"Another four hundred tips."

Victor sighed.

"Any credible ones?"

Robin shook his head.

"No."

Sarah closed another folder.

"This is impossible."

Victor stared at Harry Finn’s diary resting beside him.

"No..."

He whispered.

"Harry is making sure we stay one step behind."

Just then, a police officer hurried into the room.

"Mr. Reyes!"

Victor stood immediately.

"What happened?"

"We have someone insisting he has information."

Victor had heard that sentence hundreds of times over the last three days.

"Name?"

The officer looked down at the report.

"He says his name is Joey Luther."

Victor froze.

Sarah slowly looked up.

"...Joey Luther?"

Thirty minutes later, inside an interrogation room, a man in his late twenties sat quietly with his hands folded. His clothes were worn. His face showed signs of exhaustion.

Victor immediately recognized him.

Years ago, he had been one of St. Claire Entertainment’s trainees.

Robin frowned.

"I remember him. He trained with Pulse."

Leo narrowed his eyes.

"He disappeared before our debut."

The man gave a bitter smile.

"I didn’t disappear. I was removed."

Silence filled the room.

Victor sat across from him.

"You asked to speak with us."

Joey nodded.

"I know Harry Finn."

The room instantly became tense.

Victor switched on the recorder.

"Start from the beginning."

Joey stared at the table for several moments. Then finally spoke.

"I hated Chris St. Claire."

No one interrupted him.

"I joined St. Claire Entertainment believing I’d become the center. I worked hard. I sacrificed everything."

"But..."

He laughed bitterly.

"Every evaluation..."

"Every monthly ranking..."

"Chris was always above me."

Robin quietly remembered.

"He was talented."

Joey nodded.

"He was. And I couldn’t accept it."

His hands slowly clenched.

"I became jealous. The more everyone praised him, the more I wanted him to disappear."

Chris remained silent. He simply listened.

Joey looked at him.

"I even imagined killing you."

The room became completely still. Police officers instinctively straightened. But Chris didn’t react. He only waited for the rest.

Joey continued.

"That’s when I met Harry."

Victor immediately asked,

"Where?"

"He approached me. He already knew everything about Chris. His schedule. His habits. Even his marriage."

Matthew frowned.

"He already knew?"

Joey nodded.

"He knew before anyone else."

Sarah quietly wrote every detail.

Joey continued.

"Our agreement was simple. I wanted Chris destroyed. Harry wanted access to Liliana."

Robin looked confused.

"You knew they were married?"

Joey nodded.

"Harry told me. He said exposing their marriage would ruin Chris’s career. So, we made a plan."

The room fell silent.

Joey slowly lowered his head.

"It was my idea to create chaos. I helped arrange the fire inside St. Claire Entertainment."

Nathan clenched his fists.

"You..."

Joey nodded.

"I know. I deserve prison. I’ve already surrendered."

Victor quietly asked,

"The fire was only a distraction?"

Joey nodded.

"Harry wanted security weakened. He wanted people focused elsewhere. So he could get closer to Liliana."

Sarah leaned forward.

"What happened afterward?"

Joey gave another bitter laugh.

"Everything changed."

He looked directly at Chris.

"I thought Harry hated you. He didn’t. He stopped talking about you. He only talked about Liliana."

Victor slowly frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Joey answered quietly.

"He wasn’t trying to destroy your career anymore. He just..."

"...wanted her."

The room became silent once more.

Joey continued.

"He entered St. Claire Entertainment and became Carl De Vera. He copied your appearance. I thought it was part of the plan. But then, I realized something."

He slowly looked at Harry Finn’s photograph pinned on the wall.

"He wasn’t pretending to be you anymore. He wanted to replace you."

Chris felt a chill run through him.

Joey’s voice became quieter.

"He talked about Liliana every day. What she wore. What she ate. How she smiled. The perfume she used. How she laughed."

Emily covered her mouth. Mary looked horrified.

Joey slowly shook his head.

"I finally understood. He wasn’t helping me anymore. He was living inside his own fantasy."

Victor asked,

"You confronted him?"

Joey nodded.

"I told him to stop. I said to leave her alone."

"What did he say?"

Joey looked down.

"He smiled."

The smile disappeared from Joey’s face as he repeated Harry’s words.

"Chris stole the life that belonged to me. Liliana was always supposed to be mine."

A heavy silence settled over the room.

Joey swallowed hard.

"I tried to leave. I wanted nothing more to do with him."

Victor’s expression hardened.

"And then?"

Joey slowly rolled up his sleeve showing a faded scar ran along his forearm.

"He tried to kill me."

Everyone stared.

"I survived because I realized something was wrong before it was too late. I disappeared after that. I’ve been hiding."

Sarah asked quietly,

"So why come forward now?"

Joey’s eyes became red.

"Because..."

He looked toward Chris.

"I wanted revenge against you. Not her."

His voice broke.

"Liliana never did anything to me. I never wanted her hurt."

He lowered his head completely.

"But Harry..."

"...is beyond reason now."

Victor slowly stood. He looked at Matthew. Then at Chris.

Finally, he asked the one question everyone feared.

"Joey..."

"If Harry believes Liliana belongs to him, what do you think he’s planning now?"

Joey closed his eyes.

When he finally answered, his voice was barely above a whisper.

"He doesn’t think he kidnapped her."

Another silence filled the room.

"He believes..."

"...he brought her home."

The words struck the room harder than any confession that had come before.

For the first time since the search began, everyone realized they weren’t hunting an ordinary criminal. They were trying to stop a man whose obsession had completely replaced reality.

And that made Harry Finn far more dangerous than they had ever imagined.
