My Life as an Awoken

The only record of a one eyed man in Islam is Dajjal. Also known as the False Messiah.

I know it’s unlikely, but let’s just say what if. What if these people in all of their fanaticism got tricked by some being calling itself God. It then convinces them to hand over their bodies to "God" and it then commits these deeds to achieve some larger goal.

I have no way of knowing what that goal might be but my guesses are; one, just to get their name out there, two, to try to get some kind of revenge on the Islamic faith as a whole by starting conflict or war, three, to gain some kind of power from faith or fear.

The first one is under the assumption that a "God" gains power based on recognition, or is trying to get its name out there to gain more followers. But, most of the people had face coverings, which seems to mean it doesn’t want its name out there.

The second is based on the idea that the False Messiah wants revenge for being outed as a fake, so the goal is to spark a religious war.

The third is based on what I have read in comics and web novels. Where gods gain power based on how many people worship them. However, there is also the dark side to that where they can gain power from the fear people would have of it.

The problem is that the second and third ideas conflict with what I have to do. If it’s the second one I have to tell everyone who I think is responsible. But, if I do that and a bunch of people come to fear him, which in turn gives him power. That means I can’t let his name get out.

So, which option do I choose?

Obviously, all of the above. I will pass along all of the information and what my ideas are, they can decide for themselves what they want to do.

So, I gather all of the information and write up my ideas, then send them to the relevant parties.

Then I update the parameters for observation with the AI. Now if anyone else shows these signs the right people will get notified.

Just as I finished and was getting ready to go to sleep, I got another notification. The middle eastern Islamic countries which had formed an alliance were having a press conference.

A man dressed in a white robe wearing a red and white checkered head dress with a black band was the representative giving the official position of the Allied Islamic Countries.

He started his speech saying, "First I would like to start off by saying that we have nothing to do with the attacks that happened recently. After a thorough investigation into the identities of the perpetrators we have found that they were in fact previous members of our countries.

However, they were expelled from our countries due to their religious fanaticism that made them a danger to the community. So, we took preemptive measures by deporting them. So, they have absolutely no claim to any of our countries and all practitioners of Islam in our communities condemn their extremist actions.

Second I would like to remind everyone that Islam is a peaceful religion that encompasses dignity and compassion. Do not let the actions of a small group of extremists represent the 2 billion people who practice Islam peacefully world wide.

Now onto the other part of the agenda. We would like to extend a warm welcome to the Purple Lotus. To show our willingness to accept foreign friends. We would also like to apologize for our previous rudeness to the Purple Lotus when you previously sought to enter into talks.

We were going through a turbulent time and we wanted to ensure the peace of our community first before allowing outside influence. We hope you will understand our decisions and are waiting for a positive reply.

As his speech ended and a brilliant flash of cameras came, questions from the reporters came one after another. They were all rather unimportant or inflammatory nonsense in nature.

Since the show was over I clicked off and went about having our people get in contact with the proper people in the middle eastern countries.

Now, can I finally get some sleep?

It’s not like I’m the only one not getting any sleep, Xue Qing is also having to deal with this. So, it is a sleepless night for us, and not in the fun way.

Ok, what is it this time?

A country in Africa has gained stability. That’s great, it is The Federal Republic of Nigererie. Oops. It seems like that’s not the name any longer.

A man by the name of Olumide Chukwuemeka. He was born between a southwestern and southeastern family. He was an ordinary person just trying to get by until he awoke.

He awakened an ability he calls The Call of the Wild. The way it works is by subduing animals or creatures. When he subdues it he gains their abilities and can even transform into them. His main fighting method is by combining the abilities of multiple subdued animals in a hybridized body.

He has the scales of a Pangolin, the strength of a Gorilla, the size of an Elephant, and the speed and agility of a Leopard. It is like a werewolf form, but way bigger and way cooler.

His ability works with subduing not killing. So long as it submits it counts.

Using his ability he routed out corruption and culled the local armed forces that were terrorizing the local communities. He is now hailed as a hero and symbol of the new government.

The new country’s name is Land of the Wild, in honor of its great hero.

Land of the Wild, symbolizes the courage and determination to survive and let the wild fire burning in all of their souls to burn brightly. The new flag is a green background with a lion that has a fiery mane in the center.
