The village slowly began to regain some sense of order.

Kaiser stood nearby and watched the villagers help one another.

"At least they can take care of themselves now."

His gaze shifted toward Maxim’s lifeless body.

"The bastard is finally gone."

Kaiser then turned back toward Selene.

"Let’s make sure everyone has been healed before we leave."

Selene nodded.

"Understood, Master."

She continued using her Blood Manipulation to treat the remaining injured villagers. Her control over blood allowed her to close wounds and stabilize those who were still in critical condition.

Suddenly, a frightened cry came from nearby.

"Argh! Monster!"

Kaiser immediately turned toward the voice.

A large, blue-skinned figure was rushing toward them.

Before the villagers could panic further, Kaiser raised a hand.

"Relax. He’s my summon."

The villagers stared at the approaching figure in surprise.

It was the Snowlight Orc King.

The massive orc was carrying Rachel, Liam, and three other villagers who had been rescued from the outskirts of the village.

As soon as Liam spotted Maxim’s lifeless body, tears immediately welled up in his eyes.

He jumped down and rushed toward Kaiser.

"Thank you!"

"You avenged my parents!"

"Thank you!"

The young boy threw his arms around Kaiser’s waist.

Kaiser looked down at him before gently patting his head.

"Don’t worry. He won’t be able to hurt anyone anymore."

Liam nodded repeatedly as he wiped away his tears.

The three other villagers approached as well and bowed deeply.

"Thank you for saving us."

Kaiser simply nodded.

"You don’t need to thank me. Just take care of each other from now on."

The villagers nodded gratefully.

At that moment, Rachel stepped forward and walked toward Selene.

"I’ll help."

Selene nodded.

Rachel then activated the abilities of her Priestess of Ruin class.

Although her Ruin abilities were primarily destructive, her class also possessed powerful holy abilities. She carefully controlled that power, directing it toward the injured villagers.

A gentle radiance surrounded several of them.

Their remaining physical wounds began closing rapidly. At the same time, the villagers who had suffered under Maxim’s mind control gradually began regaining their mental stability.

Rachel moved from one person to another, treating them carefully.

Her abilities could not erase the memories of everything they had experienced, but they were enough to stabilize their minds and reduce some of the lingering mental damage.

Kaiser watched Selene and Rachel work together.

"With Selene’s Blood Manipulation and Rachel’s abilities, they should be able to recover much faster."

After some time, the villagers’ injuries had been treated and their condition had stabilized.

The village had finally begun to recover.

Once everything was settled, several villagers gathered around Kaiser.

"Please, stay for a meal."

"We want to thank you for saving our village."

Kaiser glanced at the food they were preparing.

There wasn’t much.

The village had already lost a considerable amount of its resources, and the survivors would need every bit of food they had to rebuild their lives.

Kaiser shook his head.

"It’s fine. You don’t need to prepare anything for me."

"But—"

The villagers tried to insist.

Kaiser simply raised his hand.

"Take care of yourselves first."

"Save your food for everyone here."

The villagers exchanged glances before reluctantly nodding.

Kaiser turned away and began walking toward the outskirts of the village.

"We’ll meet again if fate allows it."

He raised a hand and waved goodbye before continuing his journey toward Winter Hold City.

Under normal circumstances, reaching the city on foot would take nearly two days.

After traveling for some distance, however, Kaiser stopped.

"I can make this faster."

He summoned the Gravity Slime.

The large slime appeared beside him, immediately awaiting his command.

"Use your Gravity Manipulation."

The Gravity Slime activated its ability.

A powerful gravitational field surrounded its body, lifting it into the air.

Kaiser stepped onto the floating slime.

"Let’s go."

The Gravity Slime began flying through the sky, carrying Kaiser, Selene, and Rachel toward Winter Hold City.

What would normally have been a journey of nearly two days was reduced to only half a day.

By nightfall, the enormous walls of Winter Hold City finally appeared in the distance.

Kaiser landed some distance away from the city.

He looked toward the massive entrance.

"There are quite a lot of people."

He didn’t want to attract unnecessary attention by entering the city accompanied by several powerful summons, especially undead ones.

Kaiser first recalled the Gravity Slime.

"Return."

The Gravity Slime disappeared into his summoning space.

He then turned toward Rachel and Selene.

"Both of you stay inside for now."

Rachel nodded.

"Understood, Master."

Selene silently nodded as well.

With his summons safely stored away, Kaiser walked toward the city entrance alone.

A long line of travelers had already formed outside the gates. Adventurers, merchants, travelers, and other people were waiting to enter the city while heavily armed guards inspected them one by one.

Kaiser quietly joined the line.

As he slowly moved forward, he looked up at the enormous walls surrounding Winter Hold City.

’Winter Hold City.’

’This should be a good place to gather some information before I continue toward the Cosmic World.’

He remained calm as the line gradually advanced.

One by one, the guards checked each person’s identity before allowing them through the gates.

When Kaiser’s turn finally came, he walked up to the guards.

One of the guards looked at him and held out his hand.

"Identification."

Kaiser shook his head.

"I don’t have any identification."

The guard frowned slightly.

"Then why are you here?"

"I’m here to register as an adventurer."

The guard looked at him for a moment before glancing at the other guards.

"You’re not from this city?"

"No."

The guard nodded.

"That’s fine. You can register with the Adventurer Guild. But you’ll need something to prove your identity while you’re inside the city."

Kaiser nodded.

"Understood."

The guard took out a small wooden token and handed it to him.

"This is a temporary pass. It will allow you to enter the city and remain here while you complete your registration."

Kaiser accepted the token and looked at it briefly.

"How long is it valid?"

"Three days. If you haven’t registered with the Adventurer Guild by then, you’ll need to leave the city or renew the pass."

"Got it."

The guard pointed toward the city.

"The Adventurer Guild is in the central district. Just follow the main road after entering the city."

Kaiser nodded.

"Thank you."

He put the temporary pass away and walked through the gate.

As soon as he entered Winter Hold City, Kaiser looked around with interest.

The city was much larger than he had expected. There were shops and stalls along both sides of the main road, while adventurers carrying weapons and equipment moved through the crowded streets.

Merchants were also moving between the buildings, and several carriages passed through the road carrying goods toward different parts of the city.

Kaiser continued walking while observing his surroundings.

’This place have so much powerful people’

He thought looking around as his sense picked many powerful auras all around him.

He followed the main road toward the central district.

His first priority was to register as an adventurer.

After that, he could gather information about the surrounding territories, learn more about the Cosmic World, and decide where he should travel next.

Kaiser continued walking through the crowded streets toward the Adventurer Guild.
