Kaiser slowly read through the entire Cosmic Sheet.
His expression became more serious as he reached the final section.
"This is much stronger than I expected."
The Blood Rose Demoness looked at him.
"Is my strength acceptable, Master?"
Kaiser nodded.
"More than acceptable."
He looked back at the status screen.
She had only just been created, yet she was already a Legendary-Rank undead with a Legendary-Rank Talent, a Legendary-Rank class, and multiple powerful skills.
What caught Kaiser’s attention the most was Blood Rose Creation.
The ability did not simply create ordinary blood roses.
It could use the blood of powerful creatures to create Blood Rose Knights, with each knight inheriting characteristics and potential abilities from its source.
That meant the Blood Rose Demoness could potentially build an entire army of specialized Blood Rose Knights.
Kaiser looked at the skill again.
"Interesting."
His eyes narrowed slightly.
"If the blood of the creature determines the abilities of the Blood Rose Knight, then the quality of the blood will be extremely important."
The Blood Rose Demoness nodded.
"That is correct, Master."
Kaiser smiled.
"Then we’ll have to find some powerful creatures for you."
Kaiser then looked at her.
"But first, let me give you a name."
The Demoness bowed respectfully.
"Please bestow upon me a name, my Creator."
She looked at him calmly, waiting for his answer.
Whoa, isn’t she a cold queen beauty? Kaiser thought as he looked at her calm yet beautiful face.
"Selene. From now on, your name will be Selene. As for your surname, you can choose one yourself."
Selene thought for a moment before speaking.
"Selene. It is a beautiful name. Then I shall be called Selene D. Rose. The ’D’ shall represent Drake, the name of my Creator."
Kaiser nodded.
"Okay. As you wish."
Selene smiled slightly.
"Thank you, Master."
"Now that you’re here, I guess I’ll have to delay my rank-up trial for a while and help you grow stronger first."
Kaiser looked at her status again.
"At the very least, I’ll help you reach Level 100. Once we enter the Nightmare Trial, I think having you with me will make things much safer."
Selene nodded confidently.
"I will wholeheartedly assist you, my Creator."
Kaiser nodded.
"Good. Let’s go downstairs. I’ll introduce you to my mother."
He paused for a moment before continuing.
"Also, since you’re a vampire, I’ve heard that vampires have an exceptional understanding of blood. Do you think you can examine my father?"
Selene’s expression became slightly more serious.
Kaiser still did not fully understand what effect his Reconstruction Talent could have on living humans.
He had once considered experimenting on a mafia member, but using Reconstruction on someone simply for testing was too risky.
For now, he was waiting for an opportunity to test the ability on a criminal who deserved it.
After that, if everything went well, he planned to try using it on his father.
However, the records he had read about the myriad races in Cosmic World mentioned that vampires were masters of blood manipulation and possessed an extremely deep understanding of the blood and life force within living beings.
Perhaps Selene could discover something doctores and healers had missed.
If she could understand the condition of his father’s blood and body, there might even be a way to help him recover from his coma-like state.
Kaiser looked at Selene with a trace of expectation.
"Maybe you’ll be able to help me figure out what’s wrong with him."
Selene nodded.
"I will do my best, Master."
Kaiser nodded and led her downstairs.
His mother was in the kitchen preparing dinner. When she heard footsteps, she looked toward the stairs and saw Kaiser walking down with Selene.
A warm smile immediately appeared on her face.
"Kai, you should have told me you were bringing your girlfriend home."
She looked at Selene with an approving expression.
"Not bad, my son. You have good taste."
Kaiser immediately blushed.
"Mom, what are you saying? She’s my familiar."
He pointed toward Selene.
"She’s a vampire. I just obtained her because of my class."
His mother blinked.
She looked at Selene carefully for several seconds.
"She does have a very strong demonic and blood energy around her."
She sighed.
"What a pity. I thought she was your girlfriend."
Kaiser rubbed his forehead.
"Let’s leave that aside for now."
His mother laughed softly.
"So, what is your name?"
Selene stepped forward and bowed politely.
"My name is Selene D. Drake. I came from the Blood Rose Kingdom in the Cosmic World."
Kaiser had already warned Selene not to mention that he had created her.
His Undead Creation ability was far too unusual, and revealing that he could create a Legendary-Rank undead would attract unnecessary attention.
The Blood Rose Kingdom was simply the background they had prepared for her.
His mother nodded.
"Blood Rose Kingdom?"
"Yes."
Selene maintained her calm expression.
"My family has lived there for many generations."
Kaiser decided not to let the conversation continue in that direction.
"Mom, let’s leave that aside."
He looked at Selene.
"I want to see if she can help Dad."
His mother’s expression immediately became serious.
"Your father?"
Kaiser nodded.
"Vampires have an exceptional understanding of blood and life force. Maybe Selene can find something that the doctors couldn’t."
His mother looked at Selene.
"Can you really help him?"
Selene nodded slightly.
"I cannot say for certain without examining him."
She paused.
"But I can try."
Kaiser’s mother immediately walked over and held Selene’s hand.
"Can you?"
Selene nodded.
"I need to see him first before I can give you an answer."
"Okay. Then let’s go."
His mother immediately led them toward his father’s room.
Kaiser followed closely behind them.
They entered the room where his father had been resting for years.
His father was lying on the bed, connected to several life-support machines.
The room was quiet except for the sounds of the medical equipment.
His mother stopped beside the bed.
"Please, see if you can help him."
Selene nodded.
"I’ll do my best."
Kaiser stood beside his mother and looked at Selene with hope.
Selene could also feel the pressure.
This was the first real task her Creator had given her.
