After walking for a while, Kaiser finally arrived at the Cosmic Market.

The market was one of the largest places in the city for Awakeners. It sold almost everything related to the Cosmic World, including equipment, skill books, materials, bonded beast eggs, potions, and various other items.

Kaiser entered a shop with good reviews and began selling the items he no longer needed.

He had accumulated a large amount of equipment, materials, and other items from his adventures.

Since Awakeners could generally learn and use skills that matched their affinities, many of the skills and items that Kaiser had collected were no longer useful to him.

He decided to sell almost all of them.

After several transactions, Kaiser looked at the final amount.

[Transaction completed.]

[You have received 1,823,600,000 Cosmic Coins.]

Kaiser stared at the number for a moment.

"1.8 billion Cosmic Coins."

Even he was surprised by how quickly his wealth had increased.

However, he quickly calmed down.

"With this much money, I should be able to buy what I need."

He then asked the shopkeeper about undead storage skills.

The shopkeeper showed him several options.

There were storage skills ranging from Common Rank to Legendary Rank, with each higher rank providing greater storage capacity and better restrictions.

Kaiser looked through them carefully before finally finding the skill he wanted.

[Death Cemetery]

Kaiser nodded.

"This will do."

He purchased the skill immediately.

[500,000,000 Cosmic Coins have been deducted.]

[Death Cemetery has been acquired.]

Kaiser learned the skill and left the market.

After returning home, he noticed his mother was nearby, but he decided not to disturb her.

He went directly toward his father’s room.

His father was still lying on the bed, connected to several life-support machines.

Kaiser took a deep breath.

"Let’s see if this really works."

He took out an ordinary corpse and placed it on the floor.

"Undead Raise."

Dark energy spread over the corpse.

A few seconds later, the corpse slowly stood up.

It had become a simple zombie.

Kaiser then looked at his father.

"Death Transfer."

The skill activated.

A connection formed between his father and the zombie.

Kaiser could feel the negative effects affecting his father’s body being transferred through the connection.

His father’s weakened condition, injuries, and the damage to his soul were all transferred to the zombie.

The zombie’s body suddenly began deteriorating.

Its flesh rapidly decayed before its entire body collapsed onto the floor.

At the same time, the life-support machines connected to Kaiser’s father began showing changes.

His father’s heartbeat became stronger.

His breathing stabilized.

Kaiser stared at the monitor.

"It worked."

His father’s fingers suddenly moved.

Kaiser immediately looked toward him.

His father’s eyes slowly opened.

Kaiser’s eyes widened.

"Dad?"

His father blinked several times.

His vision was still blurry, and he looked confused as he tried to understand where he was.

Kaiser quickly moved closer and grabbed his hand.

"Dad, you’re finally awake."

His father looked at him for several seconds.

"Who are you?"

Kaiser froze.

He almost felt his heart stop.

Then his father narrowed his eyes and looked at his face more carefully.

"Wait..."

His expression slowly changed.

"Kai?"

Kaiser nodded.

"It’s me, Dad."

His father stared at him for a few more seconds before a faint smile appeared on his face.

"Is that you, you little brat?"

Kaiser laughed despite the tears forming in his eyes.

"Yeah. It’s me."

His father looked at him carefully.

"You’ve grown so much."

Kaiser smiled.

"You’ve been asleep for a long time."

His father looked around the room before asking,

"What happened to me?"

Kaiser hesitated.

"You were injured a long time ago and couldn’t wake up."

His father frowned slightly as he tried to remember.

"I remember fighting with my bonded beast..."

He stopped when a sudden pain appeared in his head.

Kaiser immediately supported him.

"Don’t force yourself to remember everything right now."

His father nodded.

"Alright."

Kaiser looked at him with a relieved expression.

After so many years, his father had finally awakened.

The Death Transfer skill had worked exactly as he had hoped.

"Rest here. I’ll go call Mom."

Kaiser quickly left the room and went to find his mother.

When he found her, she was still in the middle of preparing dinner.

"Mom, come with me."

His mother looked at him in confusion.

"What happened?"

"Just come with me."

Kaiser gently took her hand and led her toward his father’s room.

The moment she entered, she froze.

Her husband was awake.

He was sitting on the bed and looking around the room.

For a moment, she simply stood there, unable to believe what she was seeing.

Then she rushed forward and threw her arms around him.

Tears immediately began flowing from her eyes.

Her husband gently patted her back.

"It’s okay. I’m awake now."

But his words only made her cry harder.

Kaiser stood quietly near the door and watched his parents embrace each other.

After seeing them finally reunited, a smile appeared on his face.

He quietly left the room and closed the door behind him, giving his parents some time alone.

Kaiser then returned to the kitchen.

The dishes his mother had been preparing were still half-cooked in the pots.

He looked at them for a moment before picking up a spoon.

"Well, I guess I’ll finish dinner."

He began stirring the food in the pot and continued cooking the dishes his mother had left behind.

Kaiser had learned to cook over the years because his mother often had to take care of his father and handle most of the work around the house.

Whenever she was too tired to cook, he would prepare the meals himself.

As he stirred the food, Kaiser glanced toward the closed door of his father’s room.

A small smile appeared on his face.

His father was finally awake.

His mother was finally able to see him again.

Happily he hummed as he stirred the pot.
