My Succubus Harem System In The Reverse World
Chapter 20: The Extremely Filthy Sounds In TrainingChapter 20: Chapter 20: The Extremely Filthy Sounds In Training
"I’m not smirking. This is just my face."
"Your face is annoying."
"You liked it enough to stare a second ago."
"I was checking to see if you were armed!" she snapped, marching toward the door.
"Hurry up before I leave you here to walk."
I chuckled softly, following her out of the apartment. The elevator ride down to the parking garage was silent, though I caught her glancing at me in the reflection of the metal doors more than once.
When we reached her car, a sleek, low-riding hover vehicle painted a deep shade of midnight blue, she unlocked it without a word.
I slid into the passenger seat, buckling up as the engine hummed to life.
"Don’t touch the radio," she ordered, gripping the steering wheel tight.
"Wasn’t planning on it."
The car lifted off the ground, merging into the morning traffic above the city streets.
It still felt unreal. The flying cars were only a dream back on Earth.
"Mother said you were tested yesterday," Gianna spoke up after a few minutes of flying, her eyes fixed straight ahead.
"Just a baseline check."
"Mira doesn’t do baseline checks unless she thinks someone is a threat or an asset."
She tapped her fingers against the wheel.
"Which one are you?"
"I guess we will find out in the training hall."
We cruised through the skyscrapers, the neon advertisements reflecting off the hood of the car.
I watched the city pass by, still trying to wrap my head around this crazy society since waking up here without a single memory.
Every single billboard featured a female hunter showing off a new energy drink or a weapon brand.
"What’s the guild name again?"
"Overmatch."
"Overmatch? That’s a weird name for a guild. Sounds like a dating app."
She shot me an unamused sideways glance.
"Our guild doesn’t focus solely on raiding like the meatheads in the other sectors. Mom likes to analyze recruits and push their potential to the maximum. We overmatch our opponents through strategy, perfect synergy, and superior scaling."
"Hmm. Fair enough. Hey, may I ask you something?"
"No."
"Yeah, about the academy..."
"I said no."
"When did you complete it?"
"Don’t you know the meaning of no?"
She gripped the steering wheel so tight her knuckles turned white.
"Answer me, or I might kiss you right now while you are driving."
Gianna didn’t blush at all. She didn’t even flinch or swerve the car. A long, exaggerated sigh escaped her lips, sounding like her mother dealing with a difficult client.
"I didn’t attend the academy."
"You said you did yesterday."
"I said I have enough certifications to be considered a graduate. There is a difference."
"How did you get that without going? I thought the academy was mandatory for all classes."
"I train a lot. More than anyone else my age. And I don’t like relying on random teammates to drag me down in group exercises. Especially men. Mom pulled some strings with the evaluation board to let me test out early."
"Ah. You are a nepo baby."
She blinked, looking confused for the first time today.
"A nepo what?"
"Never mind. You don’t have to know. So it’s your first time out in the field too. We are both rookies."
"I’m not a rookie."
She stepped harder on the accelerator, pushing us deeper into our seats.
"I have thousands of hours in the dungeons and combat simulator."
"Low-levels?"
"Better than nothing."
"Sure, Captain. Video games definitely count."
"They are neural-linked battle environments! I have fought simulated calamities."
"And I have beaten the final boss in a fantasy game, but you don’t see me bragging about it."
Gianna let out an annoyed huff, focusing on weaving through the traffic. Beneath the sharp attitude, she was just a sheltered kid who had everything handed to her by a highly successful mother, and she clearly lacked actual field experience.
She was going to rely on me a lot more than she realized.
And I liked it more than I should.
We finally reached the guild headquarters, descending into a VIP underground parking lot.
Walking down the polished building corridors, we moved to the ground-floor training sector.
It was a high-end space, distinct from the main guild offices above, featuring multiple private rooms you could rent by the hour.
Many hunters were already inside practicing.
The aesthetic was clean and professional, buzzing with intense energy.
"Four hours. Gianna."
She tapped her phone against the payment terminal to transfer the steep rental fee.
"Why are you paying?"
"The guild covers it. I’m just registering us"
The tired-looking receptionist with glasses clearly knew who she was already, offering a polite nod and sliding a black keycard across the sleek white desk.
"Room seven, Miss Everheart."
The woman briefly let her eyes wander over to me before quickly looking back down at her screen.
We walked away from the desk and headed down a long, wide hallway lined with reinforced doors.
According to the warning signs plastered on the walls, these rooms were supposed to be fully soundproofed to contain explosive mana blasts and high-level skill impacts.
Except, they weren’t fully soundproof.
As we strolled past Room Four, the steel door did nothing to contain the filthy sounds spilling out.
Beneath the distant thuds of bodies slamming together and the electric sizzle of energy blasts from the other training halls, I heard her.
Loud, desperate panting, ragged, urgent gasps that made my pulse spike.
Each breath was wet, broken, like she was fighting for air and loving every second she couldn’t catch it.
Then came the moans. Low at first, throaty and helpless, they quickly swelled into something shameless. Deep, needy whimpers that curled around my spine and shot straight between my legs.
The kind of moans that didn’t care who heard, dripping with lust, each one vibrating through the door like she was being fucked so good she was losing her mind.
