My Succubus Harem System In The Reverse World

Chapter 51: Trace Echoes and the Hostile-Obsessed Scoreboard

Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Trace Echoes and the Hostile-Obsessed Scoreboard

"You kissed her."

Not a question.

I looked at Rei for a few seconds, then nodded.

"She was being reckless. I helped her. Now I regret it."

Rei chuckled under her breath and turned fully toward Jenna.

"Should I tell my mom, Jenna? Or worse, her support? You know how insecure they get when something valuable slips into another guild’s hands."

Jenna’s face didn’t change.

She had clearly expected this the moment the Lawless name appeared on the simulation roster.

"You can do whatever you want."

Rei shook her head.

"I’m not going to. Not yet. I don’t want them crowding him before I get what I need. One week. I’ll be busy with my own training. After that, I want to join here. Let me train with him and Gia. We’re all heading to the academy soon. Training together will raise our compatibility ratings high enough to matter."

"I’ll think about it," Jenna said.

"You better. I’m not patient."

Rei leaned in slightly and lowered her voice, though not enough that I couldn’t catch the words.

"You knew this would happen, didn’t you? Did you fuck him yet?"

"No."

"Then there must be a restriction. Soon enough, you will. I know you will. Before Gia gets too attached, you’ll want a proper taste. Better make it soon."

She straightened, gave me one last unreadable look, and walked away toward medical without waiting for a reply.

I stood off to the side, watching her leave. I didn’t particularly care what she had whispered to Jenna.

My mind was already moving ahead, checking how much I had leveled, whether the roulette had triggered anything useful, and the quiet, stubborn thought of going home and kissing Gianna even if she would probably shove me away for it.

I chuckled once under my breath at the absurdity of my own priorities.

Once Rei was gone, only Jenna, Mira, and I remained in the corridor.

Jenna turned to me fully, her expression shifting from the controlled guildmaster mask into something more direct.

"You had better control inside the simulation than expected," she said.

"The redirection loop held under pressure. That matters more than the mutation flag right now."

Mira nodded, still scrolling through data on her tablet.

"His output stayed within safe parameters even during the forced transfer. The logs are clean. We can build on this. The core expansion on Rei is the outlier, four levels and a permanent potential shift from a single high-intensity exchange. That’s going to draw attention whether we want it or not."

I took the information in carefully.

Every point of control I gained brought me closer to the thing that still sat locked behind restrictions.

Full intimacy without the risk of shattering someone’s core.

When that limit finally lifted, the kind of evolution I could give them would change everything.

Jenna stepped closer and adjusted the collar of my shirt with the same casual authority she always used.

"You must be tired. Go home. Gia will be working late today."

I met her eyes.

"You’re not coming?"

"I have reports to file and a Lawless request to bury under paperwork for at least a week." A faint, tired smile touched her mouth.

"Don’t wait up. And don’t do anything reckless before I get there."

"Define reckless."

"Anything that involves Rei Lawless, another high-output transfer, or deciding to test your limits without Mira in the room."

I almost smiled.

"That’s a long list."

"It’s a necessary one."

Jenna’s voice dropped slightly.

"She isn’t bluffing about the official channels. Sector rules do allow joint exercises between guilds of the same ranking tier. If she pushes hard enough and her mother gets involved, we’ll have to justify every refusal in writing. I’d rather not spend the next month fighting paperwork while you’re still learning to keep your output from turning people into addicts."

Mira finally looked up from her tablet.

"The craving comment wasn’t theoretical. The aftershock readings on Rei are already showing elevated attachment markers. Hostile-obsessed is an unusual combination, but it’s stable for now. If she comes back in a week still chasing the same high, we’re going to need stricter protocols."

"I’ll keep my distance," I said.

Jenna studied me for a moment longer.

"Will you?"

"I’m not interested in becoming her personal battery. Or anyone else’s."

"Good. Because the moment word spreads that a provisional support triggered a permanent core expansion with a single kiss, every ambitious Vanguard in the sector is going to start calculating how to get a turn."

She adjusted my collar one last time and stepped back.

"Go home. Eat something. Sleep. Tomorrow we review the full simulation data and decide how much of this we can actually use without painting a target on your back."

I nodded.

The taste of Rei still lingered faintly as I turned toward the exit.

I tried to forget it. I couldn’t.

The system notifications from the dungeon remained burned into the back of my mind: hostile favorability, peak overload, a permanent shift in someone else’s potential that I had triggered with a single desperate decision.

One week of breathing room.

Then Rei Lawless would be back, and she had already made it clear she wasn’t planning to ask a second time politely.

I left the guild building with the quiet certainty that the simulation had solved one problem and created three more.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I still wanted to go home and see if Gianna would let me kiss her without immediately trying to put me through a wall.

I reached the apartment tired.

It was only mid-afternoon, but the simulation and everything that followed had drained more out of me than the clock suggested.

Jenna had ordered lunch ahead of time. I found the containers waiting on the counter, still warm. I carried them to the sofa, sat down, and finally turned my attention inward.

"Status."

The blue window unfolded cleanly in front of me.

[Status Window]

[Name: Revien]

[Class: Succubus]

[Level: 18]

[Attributes]

Strength: 30

Agility: 27

Vitality: 24

Mana: 80

Perception: 32

Charm: 91

The numbers had moved again. Not a dramatic leap, but steady. Solid. The kind of growth that came from surviving pressure instead of farming easy kills.

Then the notifications stacked.

『 Sub-Routine Evolution Triggered 』

[Skill Upgrade: Vital Drain Kiss Lv. 1 ➔ Lv. 2]

Effect Modification: Energy transfer velocity increased by ten percent. Retention thresholds expanded.

『 Unique Innate Resonance Detected 』

『 Critical Event Residue Detected 』

[Trait Echo Unlocked: Blood-Forge Restoration]

Description: A non-repeatable trace effect manifested solely by forcing mana past a critical threshold during a target’s core destabilization. This is a one-time defensive echo. By consuming the residual trace energy, the Host can instantly stabilize and heal his own internal injuries. The trait will dissolve entirely from the system kit upon activation.

I stared at the second notification for a long time.

Holy shit.
