My System Is a Fallen God: I Level Up Endlessly

Chapter 50: Diamond Threshold, The Warlord’s Head

Warlord Neleak roared as the massive chunks of solid stone fused completely with

his skin.

The heavy yellow aura of his S-Rank magic pulsed violently. He was no longer just a giant man. He was a towering, heavily armored stone golem. The unbreakable rock covered his entire face, leaving only two glowing yellow slits for his eyes.

He gripped his gigantic war hammer. The weapon was now coated entirely in the exact same dense, magical earth.

"You cannot pierce this!" Neleak screamed loudly. His deep voice sounded like grinding boulders. "I am the absolute Sovereign of the Lawless Zone! I will crush you into bloody paste!"

Saile did not back away. He stood perfectly still in the blood-stained sand.

His plain brown eyes were completely cold. He looked up at the massive, unbreakable tyrant with absolute boredom.

"You talk entirely too much," Saile stated flatly.

Neleak charged forward. The massive stone giant moved with terrifying, ground-shaking speed. Every single step he took completely shattered the canyon floor.

He swung his massive war hammer down directly at Saile’s head.

Saile did not try to parry the heavy weapon this time. He simply activated his C-Grade [Phantom Step].

He completely vanished. He transformed into a violent blur of black lightning.

The giant hammer slammed heavily into the empty sand. The brutal, kinetic impact created a massive crater, throwing rocks and thick dust violently into the air.

Saile reappeared directly beside Neleak’s thick, armored leg.

He drew his left fist back and drove a heavy, brutal punch directly into the side of the golem’s knee.

Boom!

His Diamond-Tier bones easily handled the massive kinetic shock. The raw physical power cracked the outer layer of the thick stone armor.

Neleak roared in anger and swung his heavy backhand down to crush the boy.

Saile completely ignored the incoming fist. He dashed sideways with explosive, unreactable speed. He moved so fast that he left a faint afterimage standing directly in the dirt.

Neleak’s massive stone hand smashed heavily into the afterimage, completely destroying his own footing.

"Is that all you have?" Neleak mocked, pulling his huge fist from the sand. "You hit like a weak child! My earth magic is absolute!"

Saile stopped moving. He stood calmly thirty feet away.

He gripped the long hilt of the Calamity Fang tightly with both bare hands. It was finally time to end this boring fight.

He closed his eyes for a single second. He tapped directly into the bottomless ocean of dark magic sitting heavily in his core.

The Endless Devourer flared violently.

Saile pushed the raw, freezing EX-Rank aura straight into his Epic-grade sword. He did not let the dark magic roar wildly into the air. He forcefully compressed it.

A highly condensed, glowing line of dark purple lightning settled perfectly on the razor-thin cutting edge. The metal hissed and popped angrily. It was hungry for absolute death.

[Skill Activated: Divine Strike (B-Grade)]

The dark magic heavily coated the blade, multiplying its armor-shattering power to terrifying new heights.

"Die, Heretic!" Neleak roared blindly.

The giant tyrant lunged forward. He raised his massive war hammer high above his thick stone head, fully exposing his armored neck. He put his entire body weight into the massive downward swing.

Saile opened his cold brown eyes. He pushed hard off his toes.

His heavy combat boots completely shattered the stone floor beneath him. He

launched himself high into the air, flying directly toward the towering giant like a black missile.

Neleak brought the hammer down with absolutely devastating force.

Saile did not dodge it. He swung the Calamity Fang upward with brutal, absolute

power.

The heavily compressed black lightning met the massive iron hammer entirely head-on.

Clang!

There was no heavy recoil this time. The macro-mana sliced cleanly through the giant iron weapon. It cut the thick war hammer completely in half with absolutely zero resistance.

The heavy top half of the hammer fell uselessly into the sand.

Neleak’s glowing yellow eyes widened in pure, unadulterated terror. He realized his unbreakable magic was entirely flawed. He tried to pull back, but he was entirely too slow.

Saile chained his momentum perfectly. He spun his body in mid-air, bringing the dark blade around for a highly lethal horizontal slash.

He aimed perfectly for the tyrant’s thick, armored neck.

"No!" Neleak screamed.

The Calamity Fang hit the S-Rank earth magic. The heavily compressed dark aura

ripped the unbreakable rock apart instantly. It felt exactly like slicing through wet paper.

The dark blade cleaved completely through the solid stone, snapping the tyrant’s thick spine with a sickening, wet crunch. It cleanly severed flesh, bone, and magic in a single, devastating movement.

Saile landed heavily on his feet behind the giant.

He slowly lowered his sword. Dark, thick blood dripped from the sharp edge, staining the dry sand.

A massive, deafening silence fell entirely over the blood-soaked canyon.

Neleak’s giant, headless body stood completely frozen for a single second. The

thick rock armor instantly crumbled into useless grey dust, dropping entirely off the dead flesh.

Then, the Warlord’s heavy head slid completely off his shoulders.

It dropped heavily into the dirt with a wet, fleshy thud. The massive, headless body swayed slightly before crashing face-first into the ruined canyon floor.

A fountain of hot red blood sprayed wildly into the air, painting the desert a dark crimson.

Saile stood completely still. He did not smile. He just flicked his wrist, throwing the excess blood off his dark blade.

The war was completely over.

Up on the high cliffs and hiding in the back of the narrow canyon, the remaining thousands of enemy soldiers watched in total horror.

They had just seen their invincible, Diamond-Tier tyrant cleanly decapitated in

a single, brutal strike. The seventeen-year-old boy in the black cloak had not even broken a single drop of sweat.

Their morale completely, utterly shattered.

A heavy steel sword dropped loudly onto the rocky ground. Then a shield fell. Then a spear.

The loud clatter of heavy weapons hitting the dirt echoed endlessly through the canyon. The thousands of surviving mercenaries and desert bandits dropped

completely to their knees.

They bowed their heads to the bloody sand, absolutely refusing to look at the boy. They surrendered completely. They knew they were entirely outmatched.

Saile ignored the kneeling army entirely.

He walked slowly over to the massive, headless corpse of the Warlord. A glowing, heavy yellow sphere floated gently above the dead tyrant’s chest.

It was the Diamond-Tier Boss Core. It radiated an absolutely massive amount of

pure, raw elemental magic.

"Consume it," Naicul ordered heavily in his mind. The ancient God’s voice was filled with deep, violent satisfaction. "That tyrant was completely pathetic. Claim what is ours."

Saile reached out his bare hand and grabbed the heavy yellow core.

The Endless Devourer violently woke up. Thick chains of pitch-black lightning shot directly out of his palm, completely wrapping around the massive magical sphere.

The EX-Rank talent crushed the core instantly. It vacuumed the pure, heavy energy directly into Saile’s chest.

Golden system screens instantly exploded in his vision. They flashed with blinding, overlapping light.

[Major Threat Eliminated: Warlord Neleak!]

[Massive EXP Gained.]

[Diamond-Tier Boss Core Devoured.]

[Level Up!] [Level Up!] [Level Up!]

A massive, refreshing wave of pure energy flooded Saile’s entirely reconstructed body. His Diamond-Tier bones grew even denser. The raw, bottomless ocean of dark magic inside his core expanded completely. His physical strength skyrocketed to terrifying new limits.

[Host has reached Level 60.]

Saile slowly clenched his right fist. The air around his knuckles completely warped and distorted from the sheer density of his new power level.

He felt entirely unstoppable. He was standing directly at the absolute peak of the mortal world. He was a true Transcendent being.

Lady Vesper, Mrog, and Alis rushed down the steep canyon path. They stopped a few feet away from Saile, completely ignoring the thousands of surrendered soldiers.

The three faction leaders looked at the severed head of the desert tyrant lying in the dirt.

They immediately dropped to one knee, bowing their heads deeply to their Sovereign.

"The Lawless Territories are completely yours, my Lord," Vesper declared softly. Her voice was thick with pure, unadulterated awe. "You have completely secured the desert. There is no one left to challenge you."

Saile sheathed the Calamity Fang across his back with a sharp, metallic click.

He looked out over the massive canyon. Thousands of dead bodies littered the bloody ground. Thousands of living soldiers knelt in absolute submission.

He had the raw power. He had the massive army.

"Have the blacksmiths collect the dropped weapons," Saile commanded flatly.

"Take the surrendered men into the lower camps. Strip them of their heavy armor.

They work for us now."

"Yes, Sovereign," Mrog answered heavily, standing up to begin shouting loud, booming orders at the terrified prisoners.

Saile turned entirely away from the bloody carnage.

He had completely taken over the desert. But the Lawless Zone was just a filthy sandbox. The real enemy was still sitting comfortably on a golden throne in the center of the world, entirely unaware of the monster growing in the shadows.

"The Pope is going to notice this," Naicul warned darkly in his mind. "The Holy Church heavily funded that dead tyrant. When they realize he was brutally butchered, they will send their absolute best to investigate."

"Let them," Saile replied coldly.

He began walking back toward the towering black gates of the Heretic bunker. His heavy combat boots left dark, bloody footprints on the broken stone.

"We are done hiding in the dirt," Saile declared in his mind. "We are going to wipe the False Saints completely off the map."

A cold, deeply dangerous smile slowly formed on his face.

He was fully prepared to watch the Holy Church bleed.
