My System Is a Fallen God: I Level Up Endlessly
Chapter 53 - 30% System Override, The Lethal Pact[System Override Initiated!]
[Partial Combat Synchronization Accepted.]
[Sync Rate artificially spiked by 30%.]
Golden system screens flashed violently in Saile’s vision with harsh, blinding red warning borders.
The dark magic sitting at the absolute bottom of his EX-Rank core completely erupted. It did not explode outward to destroy the canyon. It flooded directly inward.
The heavy, freezing dark aura rushed straight into his nervous system. It forcefully hijacked his ruined, charred arms. The unbearable, blinding pain of the holy fire melting his flesh simply vanished.
Cold, absolute, god-like calculation entirely replaced his human fear.
Saile slowly stood up from the bloody dirt.
He looked at the two towering Diamond-Tier Paladins standing over him. His right eye remained completely plain brown.
His left eye was glowing with a brilliant, piercing silver light.
The heavy silver glow physically illuminated the dark, narrow canyon. It was the undeniable, physical mark of the Fallen God looking directly through a mortal vessel.
"The arms are entirely mine," Naicul’s ancient voice echoed directly in Saile’s head.
The God sounded completely calm. There was absolutely no anger. There was no desperate panic. There was only the cold, unfeeling certainty of a predator staring at its prey.
"Do not fight my movements, kid," Naicul instructed coldly. "You keep the legs. You control the spacing. Put me exactly where I need to be."
"Understood," Saile replied mentally.
His physical voice and his mental thoughts were beginning to terrifyingly overlap. The boy and the monster were perfectly blending into a single, highly lethal weapon.
Saile reached slowly over his shoulder.
His left arm was severely burned. The skin was entirely blackened, exposing the dense Diamond-Tier bone underneath. But his fingers did not tremble at all.
Thick, heavy chains of dark purple lightning wrapped entirely around his ruined flesh. The dark magic acted like a physical cast, forcing his broken muscles to move with absolutely flawless precision.
He tightly gripped the hilt of the Calamity Fang.
He drew the Epic-grade odachi with a sharp, ringing metallic scrape. The pitch-black sword hissed angrily in the cold air, sensing the heavy divine authority flowing into its hilt.
Ten feet away, the two holy knights froze completely.
They stared at the boy’s glowing silver eye. A sudden, deeply unnatural chill ran straight down their armored spines.
"What trick is this?" the taller Paladin demanded.
The knight pointed his glowing broadsword directly at Saile’s chest. The holy blade was still dripping with Lady Vesper’s hot red blood.
"You are completely broken," the second Paladin spat in disgust. "Your dark magic is nullified. Your body is melting. Drop the sword and die like a filthy Heretic."
Saile did not speak a single word.
He simply shifted his heavy combat boots against the broken stone floor. He widened his stance slightly, anchoring his footing deeply into the bloody sand.
Mrog and Alis were watching from the very back of the narrow canyon.
The two veteran warlords were completely holding their breath. They were terrified to make a single sound. Lady Vesper lay bleeding heavily on the ground near Saile’s feet, completely unconscious.
"Purge the demon!" the taller Paladin finally roared.
Both Diamond-Rank holy knights attacked at the exact same time.
They moved with blinding, light-speed agility. Their golden armor completely blurred as they closed the massive gap in a tiny fraction of a second.
They raised their heavy, glowing broadswords high into the air. The weapons
burned wildly with absolute white fire, fully intended to cleave Saile completely into bloody pieces.
Normally, Saile would have used a high-speed backflip to completely escape the
blast radius. He would have relied heavily on wild acrobatics to survive.
Not anymore.
Saile took a single, perfectly measured step forward.
His footwork was completely his own. He moved with cold, predatory grace. He did not jump or flip. He simply slid his heavy right boot smoothly across the dirt, gliding directly into the lethal danger zone.
He positioned his body in the exact center of the two towering Paladins.
As the massive, glowing broadswords crashed down, Naicul took complete control
of the blade.
Saile’s ruined arms moved with brutal, impossible perfection. He did not try to
forcefully block the heavy kinetic momentum of the two massive weapons. He did not waste a single drop of energy fighting their Diamond-Tier physical strength.
He simply flicked his wrists.
Naicul brought the flat side of the Calamity Fang up in a highly precise, blindingly fast motion.
Clang!
The pitch-black odachi completely caught the sharp edge of the first Paladin’s falling sword. The dark metal did not absorb the blow. It perfectly redirected it.
Naicul smoothly guided the massive holy weapon directly downward, letting the knight’s own aggressive momentum pull him completely off balance.
Boom!
The first Paladin’s heavy broadsword slammed violently into the canyon floor. The brutal strike missed Saile by a single inch, completely shattering the solid rock directly beside his boot.
Before the flying rocks could even hit the ground, the second Paladin attacked.
The knight swung his glowing sword in a devastating, light-speed horizontal arc. He aimed perfectly for Saile’s unprotected neck.
Saile did not retreat. He simply pivoted smoothly on his left heel.
He turned his body exactly one inch backward, letting the massive holy blade slice completely through the empty air directly in front of his nose.
The searing heat of the white fire barely warmed his skin.
At the exact same moment, Naicul spun the Calamity Fang effortlessly in his burned hands. He brought the dark blade around with completely flawless martial execution.
Clang!
He slapped the flat of his pitch-black sword directly against the side of the second Paladin’s moving blade.
The sharp, sudden parry generated a deafening sonic boom. A massive spark of
violently clashing dark and holy magic blasted outward into the canyon.
The second Paladin stumbled heavily forward. The sheer, effortless redirection
completely broke the knight’s heavy combat stance.
"Impossible!" the tall Paladin choked out, frantically trying to rip his sword out of the shattered floor.
"He is deflecting everything!" the second knight yelled in pure panic.
The two holy warriors were completely furious. They were highly trained, veteran God Slayers of the Holy Church. They had executed hundreds of Heretics across the continent.
But they had never fought anything like this.
The boy’s footwork was entirely completely alien. He ghosted through their attacks like a dancing shadow. And his sword technique was absolutely terrifying. He was using zero physical effort to completely dismantle their
heaviest strikes.
"Combine the light!" the tall Paladin roared again.
The two knights rapidly forced themselves back into a defensive formation. They raised their glowing swords, preparing to fire another massive, completely unreactable pillar of white fire.
Saile simply did not let them.
He dropped his weight incredibly low to the ground. He kicked hard off his back foot, dashing forward with terrifying, smooth precision.
His plain brown eye tracked their heavy movements. His glowing silver eye saw absolutely every single flaw in their golden armor.
The tall Paladin thrust his burning sword straight forward.
Saile sidestepped cleanly to the left. The lethal white fire blasted past his shoulder, violently melting the rock wall entirely behind him.
Naicul raised the Calamity Fang high above Saile’s head. He brought the heavy pommel of the dark sword crashing directly downward.
Smack!
The solid steel pommel slammed brutally into the back of the tall Paladin’s armored knee.
The dense golden armor cracked loudly under the sharp kinetic force. The knight’s leg completely buckled, dropping the giant man violently onto one knee in the bloody sand.
"Get away from him!" the second Paladin screamed wildly.
The knight swung his broadsword in a desperate, highly panicked vertical slash. He poured every single drop of his holy magic into the massive weapon, trying to
completely crush the boy.
Saile completely ignored the incoming blade.
He planted his left boot firmly into the dirt. He spun his body with beautiful, deadly grace. He completely slipped around the heavy strike, moving exactly like water flowing around a stone.
Boom!
The second Paladin’s sword slammed completely into the dirt, entirely missing
Saile.
The 30% Combat Synchronization was an absolute, terrifying masterpiece of martial combat. Saile’s fast, agile footwork constantly kept him in the perfect position. Naicul’s ancient, God-tier sword technique completely punished every single opening.
They were not just dodging the Paladins. They were totally, completely humiliating them.
Saile took one final, heavy step forward.
His boots splashed quietly in the thick pool of hot blood covering the floor.
He stepped perfectly inside their combined guard.
He was now standing directly in the center of the two heavily armored holy knights. They were completely exposed. Their heavy broadswords were completely out of position, buried deeply into the broken canyon floor.
They could not raise their weapons in time to defend themselves.
The two Diamond-Rank Paladins froze entirely. They looked directly at the skinny boy standing between them.
Saile’s plain brown right eye stared at them with complete, cold calculation. His glowing silver left eye burned wildly with ancient, bloody wrath.
The freezing dark aura leaking from his body completely choked out the hot desert air.
"Checkmate," Naicul whispered coldly in Saile’s mind.
Saile did not smile. He simply raised the pitch-black Calamity Fang.
He tightly compressed a massive amount of his raw EX-Rank dark mana directly into the razor-thin cutting edge of the Epic-grade weapon.
The dark purple lightning hissed violently, entirely hungry for absolute death.
The two holy knights looked at the glowing dark blade, completely realizing they were about to be butchered.
