After celebrating his birthday at the Senju compound, Kazuki started walking home. He kept his passive sensory ability active to monitor his surroundings. To his surprise, he could still passively sense that the shinobi were following him.
Kazuki was now getting a little suspicious. 'Why didn't they leave yet? They should have left after seeing that I was just celebrating my birthday. They have no reason to keep following me like that.
'Don't tell me,' Kazuki thought, a serious look forming on his face.
Kazuki quickly ran into an alleyway, getting completely away from their vision. He instantly formed a hand sign and created a shadow clone. Right after the clone appeared, Kazuki completely suppressed his own chakra.
The shadow clone then came out of the alleyway and took a different way home.
Kazuki himself stayed hidden for a second and then took a completely different path, jumping quietly across a few low roofs. Meanwhile, the shinobi kept watching his shadow clone. They were a little confused why he went into that alleyway and changed his path, but they didn't check the alleyway itself because they didn't sense any chakra signature left inside.
Taking a shortcut, Kazuki finally reached his home safely. He locked the door and sat down. Suddenly, his shadow clone dispersed, and the memories rushed back into his mind. The clone was attacked by some masked shinobi, he could only fight them for a few seconds before it was defeated.
Kazuki's eyes widened. "That bastard. I didn't expect he would go after me like this so soon."
It was clear now. Those weren't Fugaku's shinobi checking his loyalty. They were Danzo's men trying to eliminate him or worse, trying to kidnap him.
"Now I have one more thing to deal with," Kazuki said out loud to his empty room. "I'll have to be cautious from now on. I can't just walk around without paying attention anymore."
"Maybe I can make a seal that doesn't allow any other seals to be applied on my body just in case if Danzo ever kidnaps me." Kazuki said.
Kazuki lay down on his bed and looked up at the ceiling, "Well, I still have a long way to go before doing that."
"I still have so many things to do," he thought. "I have to learn some new B-rank jutsu to increase my attack power, and I need to completely master the ones I already have. But I also have to learn the jutsu that Jiraiya Sensei gave me that day. On top of all that, I have to master my Sharingan, maybe I could work on my Rasengan and give it an elemental nature."
His schedule was going to be packed, but he had no choice. Thinking about the future and his plans, Kazuki slowly drifted off to sleep.
The next day in the morning, Kazuki got up, had a bath, ate a quick meal, and left his apartment. He headed straight to the main Uchiha compound to battle Itachi.
While walking through the village streets, he thought, "I'm very excited to battle him. It's been a while since we last sparred against each other. Let's see how much I've improved since then."
He reached the main building of the compound. When he arrived at Fugaku's office, the guards standing outside spotted him. One of them immediately went inside to inform Fugaku about his arrival.
After a few minutes of waiting, the main doors opened. Both Itachi and Fugaku came down to meet him.
Kazuki stopped and bowed respectfully after seeing Fugaku.
Itachi looked at Kazuki and simply smiled.
Fugaku looked at him and said, "Follow me."
He led them away from the main building and walked toward a hidden entrance. They went down a set of stairs until they reached an underground training facility. The room was huge, with a hard stone floor and sturdy walls designed to handle strong jutsu, there were some training dummies and weapons too.
Fugaku turned to Kazuki. "There are several underground training facilities like this throughout the Uchiha clan compound. You can use them anytime you want for your training, but this one is my personal facility."
Kazuki nodded. It was a good place to fight without holding back too much.
"There are no rules, you can fight with your full strength, just don't kill each other." Fugaku said.
"Alright." Kazuki said, "Are you ready, Itachi? It's been a while, huh?"
Itachi smiled softly and said, "Yeah, I never expected you would become this strong. But I had a feeling that you would become strong when I saw how much you improved in the academy."
Kazuki and Itachi walked to the center of the training ground and took their positions. They stared at each other, getting ready to fight, while Fugaku stood some distance away to watch the battle begin.
