Chapter 213: 213. Red-Eye Demon?

"Meeva Whiteblayde. By him, you mean the King, I assume?"

She introduced herself first before turning her head to the direction where the King had been jailed as she asked Reko.

"Yeah."

Reko nodded, he had indeed connected Meeva to the King.

"Master? I don’t have one." Rae seemed confused. Why would he have a master?

"Don’t have? You are not Robin’s? Wait!"

She snatched Rae’s hands, a bright red light glowed on her palms and entered Rae’s palm, tracing his veins. Unsatisfied, she placed her hand on his chest and used the same technique again.

While Meeva used a unique spell to trace Rae’s bloodline, he used the spell he learned from Natasha to see through Meeva. He couldn’t see past her clothes, though. No matter how hard he tried.

"I see. So, that’s how it is." Meeva spoke.

She nodded her head in understanding. Her expressions hinted that she had uncovered a big scheme.

She sensed some sort of technique being activated in Rae’s eyes but ignored them before she spoke.

"I would have punished you for treating my brother’s descendant like this but you’re already destined to lose your body to him."

She lost all motivation to punish him. It would be a problem if she happened to ruin ’His’ plans.

"What did he see in you to possess you?" Her hands were still on Rae’s chest as her eyes travelled all over his body.

"Possess me?" Rae repeated, shocked.

Who was being possessed? Who did she refer to as ’he’. It was him who had possessed that old noble Terias.

Was she perhaps confusing them? Rae had too many thoughts in his head that he forgot that he was plowing the Queen’s butthole a few moments ago.

In fact, even the Queen had gotten up from her position. Her back was sore, and ass gaping as she recognised Meeva from one of the paintings.

Meeva heard Rae’s question and then realised that he had some problems with his memory.

"Ah, you don’t know?" She thought for a few seconds before asking him some disturbing questions. "Did you perhaps kill a family? Noble family? Possibly your blood relatives?"

The Queen’s eyes widened as she quickly dressed up and was looking at Rae in shock. Killing his family? Noble? She was more than shocked.

If his family couldn’t escape his ire then how could she?

"I did." Rae nodded. Technically, he did finish one family member. It was Terias’ brother, though.

"Did they happen to be very corrupt? Unfair? Twisted?" Meeva asked.

"Yes..." Rae spoke in a dry voice. They were indeed corrupt.

"Final question. Do you happen to have some weird memories? Inherent skills? Unusually fast pace of learning?" Finally, Meeva asked the final question.

"I do, I did to some extent but it’s disappeared, inaccessible now." By now, Rae’s face had turned grave and his voice had gotten dry. The questions were all pointing to one hypothesis.

"Inaccessible? That’s a surprise." However, Meeva looked surprised at the mention of ability disappearing.

She was done looking at his body and asked. "You have already gone through body reconstruction. Did you not feel someone take over? A soul? Did you not meet a long haired, red pupil guy?"

"No?" Rae did not remember anyone taking over his body but the red color thing was ringing a bell.

Meeva stood in thought for a few seconds before explaining again. "It should be in the form of mist, and you should be able to feel it."

"Like this?" Rae asked as he showed Xavier or at least tried to... Xavier’s soul was hazy, not accessible and almost faded.

"Yes, but this is not him. Also, this soul is almost gone." She recognised that it was a soul, almost drained of its essence. "Did you perform a sacrifice using this soul?" She asked, curious.

"No." Rae promptly answered. He had not explored this ability. He did not even know about the possibility of sacrifice.

"I see. He must have had some trouble and couldn’t take over you but it’s only a matter of time. The further you progress, this bloodline will empower him." Meeva understood the situation and broke it down in simple words for Rae to understand.

"You mean this guy would take me over?" Rae showed the fading Xavier once again as he asked.

Meeva shook his head, nearly laughing at Xavier before explaining. "Not this guy but the guy who gave you all these abilities, you must have made some deal with that guy. After the duration, he takes over your body."

"How?" Rae was shocked. He couldn’t remember making a deal.

"Do you think you are the only one who can play with souls?" Meeva chuckled as she spoke to him.

"But what does that have to do with me killing family members?" He couldn’t connect all this with him killing Ekaros.

Where did that add up?

"Oh that. It’s sort of a ritual, he corrupts your family then makes them... uhm, what do I say... twisted? Corrupted? Against you. Either they kill you and he takes over or you kill them all and the corruption increases then he takes you over." Meeva explained what she had experienced and heard from all those incidents in the past.

In the past, it was well known among the noble families that you shouldn’t make a deal with Red-eyes.
