Chapter 2971: Greenfields Cavern Dungeon

"I am glad that you like your name. Can you give us information about the dungeon?" Adrian asked as he wanted to know more about the dungeon that has formed.

The dungeon entrance has fully formed and it is in the form of a mining entrance that is carved from the wall. The gate is still a portal of energy that sends the people that enter into a dungeon. The overall function is still the same but the entrance could be clearly seen as different from the other dungeons. Compared to the other entrances of the other two, the one for this dungeon is actually quite close to the actual entrance of the mining cavern.

"As the esteemed master wills!" Marble stated with a happy tone which is different from its cold looking appearance.

Adrian almost choked when he has seen the level requirements for the dungeon. He did not expect that this dungeon would be different from the others but the jump in difficulty is evident. The two dungeons were newbie friendly but this dungeon jumps straight towards the first level hurdle which is level 100. He then shared the details of the dungeon to those that were present and the ones that had shining eyes are none other than Elder Ascalor and Solstice.

"I can already smell the money! Let us go inside the dungeon immediately!" Solstice added as she dragged Adrian towards the dungeon because the latter felt his entire body become limp as a side effect of the potion.

[You have entered the Greenfields Cavern Dungeon in Easy Difficulty.]

The dungeon did not have anything green or actual fields when they entered but a cavern style dungeon has greeted them. The dungeon is a wide cave system where enemies are actually humanoid golems that drop minerals, ores, or precious stones depending on their body composition. It seems that the spawning of the type of golems is varied depending on the rarity of the actual minerals, ores, or precious stones.

The golems also have different resistances depending on their body composition. This means that some golems can have high resistance to magic or high resistance to physical attacks. Adrian is now convinced that the dungeon having higher difficulty is actually due to the unique properties of the golems.

"I still do not understand why it is called Greenfields Cavern though." Adrian muttered and Elder Koronn heard him.

"If we based it on the mining industry then it should be a term used for uncharted territory or areas where mineral deposits are not yet officially known to exist. This is a common term if we look at the mining industry as areas having mineral deposits produce money." Elder Koronn explained which Adrian is now understanding.

While Adrian and the others were studying and talking with each other, Elder Ascalor and Solstice could be seen destroying all of the golems that came their way. They made sure to store the ores, minerals, and precious stones that drop from them. Not all golems actually drop items when they are killed as the drop rate is still affected by chance.

The group breezed through the dungeon with ease as there is no significant change until they reached the fifth floor where the boss monster was. The boss monster they expected is a humanoid golem or something but they were surprised that it was a golem in the shape of a monster. The monster that the golem took shape of is actually that of a gorilla.

==

Monster Name: Obsidian Gorilla Golem

Monster Tier: Dungeon Boss Monster

Monster Level: 180

Monster Abilities: [Obsidian Slam] [Thrash] [Primate Golem Rush]

Monster Status: [Enraged]

The Obsidian Gorilla Golem beat its chest like that of a gorilla monster as it actually mimicked its habits flawlessly. The people that eyed the obsidian did not let it live for more than a few minutes though as they killed it as soon as they can damage it. The poor dungeon boss got shattered in an instant without even entering its berserk mode.

[You have cleared the Greenfields Cavern Dungeon for the first time.]

[The best reward shall be given to you as a result.]

[You been given Obsidian Ore (Purity 60%) x10]

[You have been given Unknown Ores x10]

[You have been given the Primate Golem Creation Manual.]

[Experience points have been greatly reduced due to the level requirement.]

[Congratulations! The Easy Difficulty for the Greenfields Cavern Dungeon has been completed.]

[Marble’s abilities have been improved.]

[Marble can now impose level requirements for all dungeon difficulties and have full of control the Easy difficulty dungeon.]

"Congratulations for clearing the Easy Difficulty, esteemed master!" Marble stated as it appeared at the end of the dungeon.

Marble is now looking a little bit polished compared to before. The moss on its body has also slightly become lesser. The changes might be minimal but it is not something that they can ignore because Marble has a powerful ability that can be used to upgrade an ore by one tier as long as it is below the Legendary Tier.
