I am a spy! It has been a long time since I have returned to our guild house but I am still loyal to the guild that let me become the spy that I am today. Even though I am now residing more in Avalon, I still report my daily... I mean the changes in Avalon in order for the guild territory to be competitive. Anyways, I have been told to immediately investigate the dungeons that suddenly popped up in Avalon.

My own guild leader even personally contacted me for it which means I have done my job well. It just means that the guild leader trusts me a lot that he personally contacted me about the situation. He did say that I did not know anything because no one really knew about these dungeons in the first place.

The dungeons just appeared and all of Avalon became chaotic as a lot of players that usually hunt outside suddenly started rushing into the dungeons instead. I did not know who to get with into the dungeons as one cannot just enter alone since the guardians of the island told us that entering alone would just be suicide.

Fortunately for me, I have other friends in the same profession which means we entered the dungeon together. We managed to enter the Hollow Tree Dungeon in the Easy difficulty first because we wanted to know what kind of enemies there are. We were actually not allowed to enter the easy difficulty dungeon because we are above its level but we managed to beg... I mean persuade the guardian.

I did not know that an island guardian has that much power that they can even control the entrance and exit of beings for a dungeon. Then again, the other island guardians that appeared were said to be very powerful in their respective islands. There was one foolish demigod player that got deleted instantly by one island guardian when they challenged one. He did not return to Avalon after that because he was banned for ruining the safety of the territory.

Anyways, we managed to beg... persuade our way in into the easy difficulty. We were not supposed to do this but one Daemos Corps member that brought children along to train in a dungeon noticed us. Since we have built quite the rapport and good will, the Daemos Corps member allowed us to join them since he was short on hands with guarding the training children.

The Spy Gang, which we call ourselves, have managed to enter the easy difficulty and is amazed by the layout of the dungeon because it was very complete. Usually, the dungeons in the outside world are falling apart or very difficult to navigate but the ones that appeared in Avalon are all pristine. We were about to pull on the buried monsters when the Daemos Corps member told us that the first floor is off limits for fights.

We learned quickly why the first floor is off limits for fights because the elves are using it as their garden. We could see some elves and even some Faekin that migrated here are all farming in the first floor of the dungeon. They maybe doing this to earn some money after all the farmland in Avalon is already owned by the cranky old farmer demon.

Also, the monsters in the first floor are all goats and chickens which are all being easily killed by the children since they are basically herded for slaughter by the Daemos Corps Members. The children were quite cute but they will turn ferocious upon seeing prey. They even became like little monsters when they saw the goats and chickens as if they were hunting for their meals but that must be true.

The calmest of the children were actually the Daemos children while the most bloodthirsty were the human ones. I do not know how they became like that but they return back to their cute selves once they kill their prey so I think it is fine. Anyways, we managed to easily finish the Easy Dungeon Difficulty because the succeeding floors were basically our job to thin out the monsters.

I almost thought that I formed a bond with a chicken monster but one of the human children just cut its neck without batting an eye. You shall be missed my dear Chickie which would have been your name if you were still alive. Anyways, the clearing of the Easy Difficulty made the Spy Gang confident with the other difficulties. It seems they were also told to investigate the dungeons by their respective guild leaders.

Just as we were teleported to the outside and was about to do another different difficulty run, new dungeons started to appear. It seems that two more dungeons have appeared in Avalon while we were acting as chaperons... I mean doing our work as spies. The dungeons that appeared were the Wellspring Abundance Dungeon and the Greenfields Cavern Dungeon.

The information about new dungeons sprouting in Avalon became a hot topic instantly which also led to our guild masters contacting us directly once more. We immediately informed them about the dungeons that appeared since it was already visible to the public anyways. I guess this is what it means to be strong as the territory lord does not even conceal really vital information about things in their territory.

I suddenly had a thought that our guild master should be like that so that he does not bother me too much. If he contacts me like this every time then it would be burdensome because I can no longer enjoy my stay... I mean do my work efficiently. Anyways, we had to do a different dungeon instead since we were asked to look at the other dungeons.

In the end, we actually managed to clear the Hard Difficulty for the Wellspring Abundance Dungeon first because one of the Spy Gang members is very effective against plant type monsters. We receive good rewards which we all planned to collect for us to have one pocket dimension home as the Spy Gang hideout.
