"What are you saying?!" The Scylla Queen blurted out as she did not expect that someone would be foolish enough to utter the name of the princess that just passed away.

Now, someone was masquerading themselves as her beloved youngest child. The Scylla Queen flew into rage as her lower half became eight dragon heads that tore through the halls of the war council. She was going to punish anyone that dares to sully her youngest daughter’s name.

The Merfolk King and Merfolk Queen followed her out as they also wanted to see who would dare anger the Scylla Queen. Even if they wanted to push a fake into the royal succession line, getting a fake of a deceased daughter is just too much. They knew that the Scylla Queen would never forgive those that mock her in such a way.

The royalty of the ocean looked like they were shocked by the news and followed the others. The attendant that delivered the news of the attack on the borders of the merfolk kingdom looked like he did not expect such a situation. They have already trapped the princess in that pass along with a Ghost Soul Leviathan.

Even a royal guard will not be able to escape from one as any prey inside the domain of a Ghost Soul Leviathan will die from its soul sucking ability. The Ghost Soul Leviathan is not like other leviathan monsters that no longer cares if the prey hides for long. They have the ability to see the souls of others and have the patience to wait for them to move.

They even sacrificed some of their own followers just to make the Ghost Soul Leviathan come to the area they designated. They should never fail now and no power in the ocean could kill a Ghost Soul Leviathan unless they are the current monarchs of the ocean. This should be impossible as the Followers of the Lord of the Watery Abyss has simultaneously attacked multiple kingdoms.

"I need to verify this myself." The attendant stated as he made sure to check the hidden poisoned dagger on his hidden compartment.

Adrian and the others arrived at the War Council halls and could only say that it truly deserves its name. It is said that this War Council was actually created by the Titan of the Ocean and the God of the Seas in order to mediate between the kingdoms. The ones stationed to protect this area are the guards blessed by the two. Even if the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus has decided to isolate, the ones under him with duties still remained in place.

The guards that were blessed by the Titan of the Ocean and the God of the Seas were just onlookers for now though. They do not meddle in the affairs of the kingdoms in the vast waters but only break up fights that happen in the War Council. This is a sacred place to determine if both parties are to go to war but they should never have any violence in this place.

"So, this is the War Council!" Princess Drona stated as she marveled at the seashell covered walls and the seasilver statues.

"It is as beautiful as it is a place filled with decisions that can decide the fate of a kingdom" Crown Princess Aisla stated as she suddenly felt the raging emotions of a powerful being coming out of the War Council halls.

They were told that they cannot step inside of the War Council as two kingdoms were discussing. Since the discussion started, they cannot enter even if they are part of one side of that kingdom. Only soldiers or attendants that have been stationed as messengers can deliver any news from the outside. Hence, they decided to tell their mother that her youngest child is still alive and is outside of the War Council.

"WHO DARES!" A powerful voice of a queen reverberated around them as eight dragon heads fiercer than that of the Scylla Crown Princess came out.

The Scylla Queen that was filled with rage and could not control her anger burst out of the War Council Halls. She was ready to tear the one that dares to impersonate her daughter to shreds. They will feel the wrath of the Scylla Queen that has been driven by madness of losing her child.

"Mother!" Princess Drona screamed with enthusiasm and the Scylla Queen heard her voice.

The rage and anger that the Scylla Queen released suddenly started to cool down as she spotted the cute Scylla child waving at her. The Scylla Queen froze in disbelief because she did not expect that her real child was really there. It was not an imposter but her actual child that was reported to have been killed.

"My little princess!" The Scylla Queen stated as all eight dragon heads no longer looked menacing but relief as if the heaviness they have felt in their chest has suddenly vanished.

"Your majesty! Wait! We are not sure that is truly your child! You might be fooled by dark magic! There is magic from the overworld that could revive the dead into monsters!" The attendant stated quickly as he looked haggard because he had to quickly stop the Scylla Queen from getting close to Princess Drona.

"Impossible! She should already be dead or at least in the state of nearly dying! They reported that the Ghost Soul Leviathan has already marked the pass as its soul grave! It would never let a living being alive as long as it has a soul!" The attendant thought as his brain worked overtime to think of a way.

"Do you think that I do not know what my own child looks like! Are you making a fool out of me?!" The Scylla Queen shouted.

"I shall check her on your behalf your majesty as the forbidden magic of the land is said to perfectly imitate everything when they were alive. I will definitely make sure that she has not become an undead that might rip your throat out. Please make this concession as it is for your safety." The attendant stated.

"Since you wish to do so but make it quick or else I will not let this disrespect go!" The Scylla Queen finally replied as it might truly be the case as she spotted a land dweller with the ones that came with Princess Drona.

"You! What are you saying to my mother that she now thinks that I am dead! I was never dead in the first place." Princess Drona cried out.

"Mother! That is truly my sister!" Crown Princess Aisla shouted.

"You might have been fooled as well, crown princess! This loyal attendant shall make sure that this is not the work of forbidden magic!" The attendant stated but there was a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"Hmph! I am not someone that can be created using forbidden magic! I have been blessed by the Mother of All Monsters Echidna!" Princess Drona shouted something that only royalty should know.

Adrian then smiled as he now knows why the little princess feels familiar as the Mother of All Monsters Echidna is considered as a goddess of life. Based on Scylla lore, they were beings that were birthed by the goddess herself as a way to challenge the warriors that could sail the seas. They were basically gatekeepers of the oceans to traverse to new lands and any that survive their attacks will be blessed by the oceans and seas.

"No wonder her cute dragon heads had black golden scales. It is a sign that she is truly someone blessed by the Goddess Echidna." Adrian stated which caught the ears of Crown Princess Aisla.

Crown Princess Aisla could not believe that the being that saved her casually said the name of the goddess without full respect. He spoke as if he knew her personally and can actually talk with her. She was still a bit weak which is why she could not go with Drona to greet their mother but she knew that the War Council was safe. No sane mind would do anything in these grounds as they would be executed by the blessed ocean and sea guards.

The attendant suddenly moved close to Princess Drona and his killing intent surged. A dagger that looked like the one that injured the crown princess earlier could be seen on his hands. He looked like a madman as he lunged towards the princess. The blessed ocean and sea guards immediately swam at great speeds towards the attendant to stop him as violence is not welcomed in the War Council but they cannot reach in time.

"GLORY TO THE LORD OF THE WATERY ABYSS!" The attendant shouted as he even used magic to restrict Princess Drona which made her incapable to flee.

"What do you think you are doing?" Adrian’s cold and deep voice suddenly echoed in the ears of the attendant as a demon was suddenly in front of the latter.
