The sudden announcement of an intruder made a ruckus amongst the acolytes that were guardiang the monsters. Even the pirates that were partying and drinking their stomachs out came and charged towards the location where the announcement was made. All of them saw a humanoid monster that has the characteristics of a wolf.
All of the acolytes know that this is not a beastkin because it does not have the aura of one. This is a monster that has reached a powerful state and is able to show the form of a human. They could only think that this one must have stowed away in one of the sea beast boats and hid. Only when they knew they could do something did they appear.
Sirius could be seen tossing the head of the acolyte that shouted that he appeared. He then told the cyclops that he freed to go and kill the ones that have enslaved them. The cyclops knew that it would not be able to escape even if it was freed from the slave collar hence it did what Sirius commanded.
Sirius then proceeded to destroy more and more of the slave collars. He prioritized the powerful monsters as they would be able to fight back. He also mixed in some slaughter of the pirates or acolytes when he has the time. The commotion escalated quickly as the screams of monster and human echoed in the underwater cavern.
Adrian could feel the sudden bloodlust from the other parts of the cavern which meant that Sirius has succeeded in creating a diversion. He can also tell from the soul link that Sirius had to move himself as he could not destroy the collars sneakily. This meant that the magic collars created by the Grand Mage Fanatic before him is incredibly durable.
"Leader! A powerful monster suddenly appeared and started to destroy the slave collars on other monsters. The entire mining area has become chaotic because of it as the monsters that were freed are now revolting!" An acolyte shouted hurriedly as they came for the Grand Mage Fanatic since they cannot deal with Sirius.
The acolytes cannot deal with Sirius because he is a speed type assassin warrior hybrid. All the acolytes here are all mage or priest in terms of classes. The only ones that could engage Sirius in melee combat are the pirates but they are being held back by the other monsters. This meant that Sirius could easily slaughter the acolytes as long as he has the perfect opportunity.
Sirius’ fast movement via the shadows and his powerful claw strikes that destroyed slave collars became a problem for the acolytes. The underground cavern has no players in their operations because the Grand Mage Fanatic despises them. He despises Stagnant Water for being a blessed being and also being the chosen one of the Titan King.
The Grand Mage Fanatic did not have any other acolyte as powerful as him because he feared that his achievements would get stolen if he was betrayed. As a result, only pirates that got marked with a contract and acolytes that could utilize magic to use the slave collar are present in the underground cavern. In the end, if the Grand Mage Fanatic would not move then Sirius himself could slaughter all of the beings in this cave.
Sirius moved with great speed and precision as he made sure to destroy collars while killing one enemy. Some of the monsters he freed passed out when their collars got destroyed which is why he told those that cannot fight well to drag them away. Sirius wanted to save all of them later and even made sure that the younger ones would not be taken to fight.
Just as Sirius thought that he would be able to actually finish off all of the enemies, a powerful bolt of mana suddenly hit him. The bolt of mana sent Sirius flying towards a wall which made him spit blood. Sirius then shifted to his true form and the one that hit him with the mana bolt appeared floating in the sky.
"A dog dares to block my path to greatness! Die, you foul beast!" The Grand Mage Fanatic shouted as he engaged with Sirius in a fight. Just as Sirius feared, the Grand Mage Fanatic made all the monsters that were mining with a slave collar to stop. The ones that were not freed were then told to kill everything around them.

Adrian floated towards the cursed totem and he was very thankful that the Grand Mage Fanatic did not even protect it even more. He could already see that the cursed totem is protected by barriers but the Grand Mage Fanatic also left it as is. There was not even a call for guards to protect this place where he is conducting research.
"It seems that the things about a mages arrogance is still true." Adrian muttered as he swung his scythe towards the cursed totem.
Adrian expected the cursed totem to be destroyed but he actually felt a powerful rebound. He did not expect that the magic circle on the entire room suddenly activating to protect the cursed totem. It seems that the Grand Mage Fanatic was not just a simple mage but something like a Rune Mage. This would make perfect sense as he was able to create slave collars with ease even with the large numbers.
"I just need to hit it harder." Adrian stated as his scythe is covered with chaos energy.
A loud explosion could be heard from deep within the caverns but the people were more inclined to prioritize the ongoing rebellion of the monsters. The only one that clearly felt the strange situation is the Grand Mage Fanatic because he was still connected to his runic room despite not being physically there. The Grand Mage Fanatic noticed that someone triggered the protective magic circles in his runic room.
The Grand Mage Fanatic would have charged towards his runic room but Sirius was too difficult an opponent. He tried to use the monsters to stop Sirius but he slipped through the shadows. Sirius also made sure that the Grand Mage Fanatic does not leave as he would attack from blindspots as soon as he spots a chance. If the Grand Mage Fanatic wanted to flee, Sirius would decapitate an acolyte with sheer precision.
The Grand Mage Fanatic was suddenly stuck between a rock and a hard place. This was even more difficult compared to how he dealt with Charybdis. The Grand Mage Fanatic noticed that the wolf monster before him was highly intelligent. If the Grand Mage Fanatic does not kill Sirius here then all of his subordinates would die.
"Do you think that I cannot deal with a mutt!" The Grand Mage Fanatic shouted as he swirled his staff and manifested runes in the air.
Numerous light mana threads then shot out from the magic circles and tried to bound Sirius. The Grand Mage Fanatic already learned how to deal with Sirius and that was light. As long as there is an opposing element that could deal with Sirius then the Grand Mage Fanatic does not have any problems spamming it until he wins. He also has full control of the monster slaves which means Sirius cannot just dodge easily.
Sirius made sure to avoid the attempts of the Grand Mage Fanatic but even he gets tired. Freeing monsters and killing enemies are not actions that can be done without a severe deflation of stamina. As if the Grand Mage Fanatic has started to become accustomed to how Sirius moves, it did not take long for him to create a spell that could catch even shadows.
Sirius wanted to dodge but behind him were young monsters that are about the age of a child. In the end, he was a step too late and numerous light threads bound Sirius’ body. The light threads did sear his skin but it was not that much damage. What the Grand Mage Fanatic planned to do was for the controlled slaves to kill Sirius himself.
"You shall die at the hands of those that you wanted to save." The Grand Mage Fanatic shouted as he made the enslaved monsters hurt Sirius.
Without Sirius taking all of the attention and moving through the battlefield, the flow of the battle shifted to the enemy. The monsters that Sirius freed that could fight were all getting pinned down. Some had their slave collars re-applied as the Grand Mage Fanatic actually created thousands of these. Seeing that he failed, Sirius could only accept his fate and hoped that his master succeed for him.
Just as Sirius was about to be buried due to swarm of enslaved monsters, a powerful explosion and a wave of silent energy swept across the room. The slave collars that controlled the monsters suddenly dimmed and broke. The slave collars were all destroyed after the monsters took them off. The sudden deactivation of the slave collars made the Grand Mage Fanatic turn pale.
