Igor was even more puzzled upon hearing Coban Kangen's reply: "Could it be that someone has been secretly watching us all along!"
Kadi was amused by Igor's remark: "Haha, you're just being paranoid. You think we're still on the steam train, being followed!"
Coban Kangen also chuckled but didn't give Igor an answer.
Kadi laughed at Igor because he knew that at this moment, no one was tracking them; he could sense it. Compared to Igor, Kadi was more concerned about such matters. He wouldn't allow anyone to sneak up beside him!
"Could it really be that no one is following us here!"
"There's no one here because not everyone can enter this street. I mentioned this to you before!" Coban Kangen kindly reminded Igor to try recalling past events.
"Oh, I think there was something like that, but now I'm even more curious. Why can Kadi and I walk freely here? Do those in charge really trust us like that!"
Coban Kangen believed Igor had a strong observational ability at times and a quick mind, but there seemed to be a delay in his mental reactions.
"Maybe it's because Coban is from the Kangen Family, so people here trust us!" Kadi's ability to extrapolate was quite vivid.
"Kadi's analysis has some validity, but currently you have the right to roam freely on Bayes Avenue, and this right was earned by yourselves."
"Huh?" Igor was very surprised; he didn't understand where this right came from.
Of course, Coban Kangen wouldn't tell them that he vouched for them to earn this recognized right, as it wasn't within the rules and it was essential that Igor and Kadi remained unaware of certain secrets about Bayes Avenue.
Certainly, Igor and Kadi would eventually learn these secrets, but for now, they couldn't be told the specific content of this assessment system.
Thus, Coban Kangen once again spoke a harmless lie: "Don't be surprised; you earned this right through Equivalent Exchange, not everyone can exchange for it. What you've spent is time, which is the most valuable thing in Xinbal!"
"Oh, so that's how it is!" Igor suddenly seemed to understand.
"No wonder it took you so long to come out!"
"Yes, he exchanged our time for this right, and also these horses!" Kadi promptly added.
"It seems like you know everything!" Igor expressed some slight disdain towards Kadi.
"Haha, I have my methods for deduction!" Kadi laughed, obviously not caring about these things at all.
Unknowingly, their horses had reached the end of the street and naturally turned to another side. In fact, this path was quite simple, but Kadi remained unsure of his navigational skills, so he steadily slowed down to stay alongside Igor and Coban Kangen.
"It won't be long before we reach the Kangen Family!" Coban Kangen reminded Igor and Kadi.
"Finally, we're almost there. Then we can learn more about the Soul Guardian's situation and verify whether my assumptions are accurate." Igor still cared a lot about the results.
"Don't worry, your guesses have never been wrong!" Kadi always wholeheartedly praised Igor.
Upon entering the Wizard's domain, the entire environment changed. Previously in the Fighter and Hunter territories, everything displayed simplicity.
And now, it's different. Everywhere is complex, even the bricks on the ground aren't laid out regularly anymore, seemingly arranged in a fantastical pattern, and the architectures are even more bizarre. Various elements always give you different feelings; the Wizards surely have wild imaginations, presenting scenarios beyond your imagination.
"Is this the territory of your Kangen Family?" Igor asked.
"No, this is the territory of the Wizard Alliance," Coban Kangen explained to Igor.
"The Wizard Alliance, isn't it controlled by your Kangen Family!" Kadi chimed in. By this time, they had all slowed their horses to walk leisurely along the street.
Since they're approaching the destination, it's also a chance for the horses who were continuously running to catch their breath.
"The Wizard Alliance and the Kangen Family are two separate entities. Though many within the Wizard Alliance are from our family, they are not decision-makers within the Alliance."
"But these people undoubtedly can influence the Wizard Alliance!" Igor supplemented, feeling it necessary to clarify the situation.
"You're correct, but the Kangen Family doesn't control the Wizard Alliance. The Alliance has its own operating mechanisms. Its existence simply expands the influence of the Kangen Family, but at crucial moments, the Kangen Family won't interfere with the Alliance!"
Igor didn't quite understand, and he and Kadi believed that no matter what, the Kangen Family could leverage the entire Wizard Alliance.
Oh well, since they couldn't figure it out, it's best not to dwell on it. At a certain time, these matters will resolve themselves!
"So, can you tell us what we should be cautious of upon reaching the Kangen Family?"
"Yes, yes, we're worried that we'll cause unnecessary misunderstandings or disturbances!" At this moment, Kadi was also humble, joining Igor in questioning Coban Kangen.
They called it questioning, but it was more like consulting; they didn't want to cause any improper situations upon arriving at Coban's family doorsteps, making Coban Kangen lose face within his family!
Truly, they were concerned for Coban Kangen, afraid he might be wronged.
Nonetheless, Coban Kangen hadn't realized this; he continued to think Kadi and Igor were engaging in frivolous thoughts.
Thankfully, he was prepared this time, unlike the usual situations where he'd be stumped by these two fellows' interrogations.
"There's nothing to worry about because you're on Bayes Avenue now, so there's no need to fret about such things!" Coban Kangen stated.
Coban Kangen's answer left Igor and Kadi stunned; they couldn't comprehend why there was nothing to heed upon reaching the Kangen Family.
"Haha, you two, really forgetful. Did you forget what I told you earlier?" Coban Kangen reminded Igor and Kadi, feeling his hints were already adequate.
However, Igor and Kadi still wore confused expressions.
Such bewildered, expectant gazes left Coban Kangen somewhat helpless. Repeating himself often felt less rewarding.
Yet, those expectant, somewhat puzzled eyes left him no choice but to repeat what he'd just said not long ago.
"This is Bayes Avenue, free and open; as long as you don't do anything illegal, you are welcome here."
"So, don't worry about anything. Just be happy!"
This explanation, although a reiteration, still yielded remarkable results.
And unwittingly, the three horses had already arrived at the door of the Kangen Family.
