Online Game: I Have A 100% Drop Rate
Chapter 389: Healing Lost Limb, The Berserker Snake [1]Leon opened his [Storage Space] and immediately pulled out one of his five [Supreme Healing Potion] from it.
The vial was glowing with a soft red light that promised recovery, his fingers wrapping around the cool glass.
He had reserved them for situations like these where Leon was crippled heavily or facing a debilitating injury that would hinder his ability to fight.
These potions were very strong and difficult to come by in large quantities even with his talent.
[Supreme Healing Potion (Legendary): Upon consuming, will heal all injuries and possibly even restore lost limbs.]
Leon didn’t really like the "possibly" in the description, it made him hesitate for a brief moment as he considered his options, but he had to take his chances and trust in the potion’s power to do what it claimed.
After all, for the average player, there was no real way to restore a lost limb except by using such an expensive and powerful potion, asking a priest or healer for assistance, or dying with a resurrection stone active to heal the body upon revival, none of which were ideal.
’I could honestly kill myself so that [Life Vessel] restores me to full health,’ Leon thought, considering his options carefully, ’but I don’t wanna waste it on something like this when I have potions available.’
That was his trump card for emergencies, though Leon assumed Orion knew about it since many players had seen him revive in the [Imperial Arena] during his fight against Zarek and Iris, so the angel might have been counting on that.
Gulp!
Leon drank the potion in one swift motion, the liquid going down smoothly with a faintly sweet taste, then immediately grabbed his arm and pressed it against the spot where Orion had cut it, holding it in place with steady pressure.
Unsurprisingly, Leon felt energy course through him as he retrieved all his stamina, and all his small injuries were healed in an instant, the wounds closing up seamlessly.
Plus, the flesh around the arm and Leon began to confirm as light seeped around them, fully healing him and reattaching the severed limb with a warm sensation that spread through his body.
Leon flexed his fingers, one by one, and as expected, his arm was back to normal, fully functional and responsive, as if it had never been cut off in the first place.
"Phew," Leon sighed, a wave of relief washing over him, "I guess that’s good enough for now."
Though his expression didn’t soften at all, instead, he was even more determined to make Orion pay.
’Maybe that’s why he just cut my arm, cause he knew I would revive and thus thought crippling me would make it impossible to continue,’ Leon thought.
Alas for the angel, he had no idea the sheer amount of items Leon could obtain by himself thanks to his talent and the [100% Drop Rate] that accompanied it.
And with that in mind, Leon, accompanied by Alphox who was eager to continue the hunt, simply rushed toward the mountains at full speed, his feet pounding against the ground as he pushed himself forward.
It actually took him longer than expected to reach them, around 30 minutes of continuous running through the domain’s terrain, and on the way, a notification appeared that caught his attention and made him smile.
Ding!
["RainbowDragon" has defeated the "Berserk Moonbear" in the "Forest of Doom"]
’I guess Violet is still alive and doing well in her part of the domain,’ Leon thought with a grin, ’She’s definitely gonna be in the top 5 with that kill.’
That meant that Leon needed to be much quicker though if he wanted to kill at least one other berserker before they were all claimed by other players in the other areas.
He attempted to climb the [Treacherous Mountain], ignoring anything on his face as he pushed forward through the rocky terrain, until he heard something that made him stop in his tracks.
SLAM!
He heard a massive sound as if something was sliding through the ground and slamming into it with tremendous force, the vibrations echoing through the mountain and shaking the ground beneath his feet.
Tick! Tick!
[72 participants remain.]
Leon didn’t care about the amount of participants decreasing any longer, because for him, Orion was the only remaining threat that truly mattered in this event, the others were simply distractions.
Leon reached a massive clearing in the middle of the mountains, the ground covered in loose rocks and debris from previous battles, and there... he saw it.
A massive snake stood there, its entire body covered by spikes and scales that gleamed menacingly in the dim light, its massive form coiling and uncoiling as it searched for prey.

[Berserker Snake (Mana Monster Boss)]
[Level: 100]
[Talent: None]
[Combat Power: 10,000,000]
---
"AHHHH-"
"HELP, HOLY SHIT!"
Right on one of the clearing’s walls was a cave that didn’t go too deep, and it seemed some players had hid inside of it, hoping to avoid the monster’s notice and wait out the event.
Too bad for them, the snake sensed their presence and was now trying its best to devour them, slamming its body repeatedly into the wall to destroy it and the cave, the rocks crumbling with each impact.
Leon knew that his best shot at victory was to let the snake focus on the people in the cave and then kill it while it was distracted, in fact, that was the plan he had already formulated in his mind, and he was ready to execute it.
Or at least... that was until something else happened that changed everything and forced him to act differently.
Star Comet!
Right behind the massive snake, a figure appeared behind a pair of bushes, swinging her scepter down with determination and fury, her eyes locked on the monster.
Fwoosh!
The air in the clearing changed as the massive comet rushed down from the sky, smashing directly into the snake’s body and hurting it a lot as it hissed loudly and slammed its tail against the ground even harder, the impact shaking the clearing.
Then it turned back, its gaze landing on the small figure before it: it was Emilia, standing her ground despite the fear in her eyes, her hands trembling but her resolve firm.
"T-That’s right," Emilia shouted as she took her stance, her voice trembling but determined, "C-Come at me!"
Dark Silk Threads!
She unleashed another spell without hesitation, and hundreds of silk threads erupted from her scepter, surrounding the berserker snake and binding it in a web of darkness that wrapped around its massive body.
Of course, it was a massive monster and far too strong for the threads to hold for long, so it was able to destroy them extremely easily with a single flex of its massive body, the silk shredding like paper.
Still, this gave the opportunity to the people in the cave to escape while the snake was momentarily distracted by Emilia’s attack, allowing them to flee.
It was three female players from three different races, and they simply looked at Emilia for a split second before running away, not even thanking her for her sacrifice as it would make noise.
They couldn’t do anything against such a monster and so they simply decided to leave while they had the chance, abandoning their savior without a second thought.
’Stupid,’ Leon shook his head, ’Sacrificing yourself for strangers you don’t even know.’
Though to be honest, he couldn’t really be angry at Emilia for her actions.
She seemed to be the kind of person to do that, especially if she was alone and saw others in danger, her kind heart overriding her self-preservation.
After all, Leon had found her in that cave in his novice village after being betrayed and left to die by herself, so he knew firsthand that she understood what it felt like to be abandoned.
If she saw someone in such a situation, she’d immediately act no matter what, even if it put herself at risk and cost her the event, because that was just who she was.
It was just an event anyway, and she wouldn’t really die permanently, meaning she trusted Leon or Violet would get a good ranking and make up for her sacrifice by claiming the top rewards.
HIIIISSSSS!
The berserk snake opened its mouth wide as it rushed forward, aiming to swallow the elf whole in a single gulp, its massive jaws gaping open.
Emilia knew her agility wasn’t enough to save her at this point, so she simply tried to cast one last spell before she was consumed, pouring everything she had left into it.
Bone Shuffle!
Using her entire mana capacity, she swung her scepter upward as she used her strongest spell, pouring everything she had left into the attack.
And from the ground beneath the berserker snake, right as it was about to swallow her, something erupted from the earth with incredible force.
