The Savior looked at Lion’s dead body with cold eyes. Nothing changed in his expression, as if what had just happened was completely natural.

*What a fucking disappointment. My own follower fears me instead of believing in me...*

*Humans shall fear me and become my slaves. You should have been my people... I don’t need another slave.*

He then looked ahead and saw Valen’s eyes widen.

Valen turned his back to the Savior and walked toward Qasim.

The Savior narrowed his eye as he watched Valen move his hands over the human boy.

"Qasim, please, get yourself together! We need you to break free from his control!"

But soon, his suspicion disappeared when he heard Valen’s next words.

"Haha, stupid low human."

Meanwhile, Qasim stared at Valen in shock.

Suddenly, Valen stopped talking and hugged the boy, bringing their heads close together.

The Savior noticed that Valen whispered something into Qasim’s ear.

His suspicion rose again.

But it slowly faded when he felt that his control over the human boy was still as strong as ever.

Then, suddenly, Valen turned his body toward him and asked yet another interesting question.

"Why do all this? What’s the thing you even want to achieve?"

*Is this nasty human really trying to waste time? For what?*

The Savior looked around at the other humans.

Yasmin was still on her knees, while Doran and Levia were both unable to move.

"Hmm..."

He touched his chin before suddenly kicking Yasmin hard into the ground, pinning her down so she couldn’t move.

"Ah, much better. Now..."

He locked eyes with Valen and smiled.

"I had a dream... No, not a dream. I had a vision!"

"Back when I was a slave, being hurt by nasty humans... One night, she came to me. A beautiful lady. A powerful lady. She saw the greatness in me. She promised me more than revenge against the low humans."

"She told me that all the Beastkin would follow me! She was my savior, my angel! And I will be the Savior for all the other Beastkin!"

"Ahh... my sweet angel. I haven’t seen her since then, but I’m sure she’s watching me somewhere from the sky! She’s seeing how strong I’ve grown. She’s watching me slowly deliver punishment upon the humans and gently lead the Beastkin toward a better future, where only believers will rule..."

The Savior became lost in his thoughts.

He smiled with satisfaction, pleasure visible in his golden eye.

But then he heard laughter coming from the low human standing in front of him.

"Honestly? Sounds like a wet dream to me. You’re just a crazy bastard."

In the very next second, Valen was beneath the fox’s foot, pinned against the ground so hard that cracks spread across the floor from the sheer pressure.

"I’m going to skin you alive and make you feed on your own skin for the rest of your miserable life as my lowest slave in my future kingdom."

"You’ll fucking dream of dying just to escape the endless suffering I’ll put you through, and—"

Suddenly, the Savior felt something weak grabbing his leg.

He turned his head and saw Qasim holding onto his leg, stopping him from crushing Valen’s skull.

"Please... don’t."

Qasim was fighting against his own body just to make that move.

"Oh?"

The fox removed his foot from Valen and turned his attention toward the human boy.

"How funny. A slave asking his slaver for mercy. Haha!"

He grabbed Qasim by the neck, squeezing so hard that the boy’s face began turning purple.

But then the Savior felt something change within his power.

*Wha—?*

Before he could realize what had changed, something suddenly pierced through his own chest.

The boy he was holding was now driving his head straight into the Savior’s chest.

What the fox didn’t realize was that, when Valen had been talking to Qasim moments earlier, he had activated his Maker powers and helped the boy gain better control over his body by affecting his fear.

Then, when he had hugged him, Valen whispered into his ear:

"I will try to distract him. Once he becomes completely careless, think of something you fear more than him. I know I can count on you, my boy."

Now, back in the present, the fox coughed up blood and, with a powerful swing, threw the human boy away.

The fox tried to regenerate the damage, but for some reason, his powers were weaker.

Three of the humans in the room were unconscious, while Valen seemed to have control over his fear of him.

Which meant one thing.

"You disgusting thing... How did you control your fear of me?!"

He locked eyes with Qasim.

Despite the blood running from his head, the boy wore a tired smile.

"I can play your games again, but death is something I’m not willing to experience again."

"What the fuck is that even supposed to mean?!"

The fox could now feel the poison spreading faster and stronger through his body. His heart was almost destroyed.

But he had an idea.

He began to move.

Valen immediately stood up and pinned him down from behind.

"Now, boy! Now!"

The fox screamed in anger as he struggled to move, but Valen kept him pinned down, waiting for Qasim to finish him.

Qasim took position and began whispering.

The fox immediately recognized the attack.

It was the same attack Doran had used earlier.

Qasim was about to use Light Dash and pierce straight through the fox’s head.

But suddenly, the fox bit down on both of Qasim’s arms and Valen’s arm.

The pain forced them to let go, allowing the fox to break free and run toward a corner that Qasim knew well.

Valen rushed after him, and Qasim did the same.

The three of them jumped and landed among a group of mindless, naked humans.

The moment they landed, the humans began screaming and attacking them.

At that moment, the fox slowly stood up.

Life began returning to his golden eye.

These creatures were mindless human slaves, basically no different from sleeping humans.

But they could still feel fear, even though they didn’t experience it in exactly the same way normal humans did.

And that was exactly what was keeping the fox alive.

The small amount of fear generated by the slaves he had kept was feeding his power.

"Qasim, we need to—"

Valen tried to make their next move, but the fox grabbed him by the arm and lifted him high into the air.

Then he pierced straight through his chest, aiming for his heart.

"Valen!"

Qasim screamed when he saw Valen’s chest become completely covered in blood.

The fox then threw Valen’s body toward him before charging again.

The two of them began exchanging attacks.

They weren’t trained attacks.

They weren’t powerful attacks.

They weren’t even calculated attacks.

They were simply two enemies running out of energy, desperately trying to kill each other in the ugliest fight possible.

The fox’s heart was slowly regenerating, allowing him to throw punches fueled by nothing but his growing anger.

Meanwhile, Qasim was doing everything he could just to survive while fighting a Second Step Beastkin.

It didn’t take long for the fox to overpower Qasim and send him flying.

The boy crashed to the ground, breathing heavily.

"This is your damn last day, you fucking low huma—"

Suddenly, someone grabbed the fox from behind.

Qasim’s eyes began to tear up when he saw Valen.

Despite all the blood covering his chest, he was still standing.

And he was holding the fox down once again.

"Now, boy! Now!"

"Why are you alive?! I fucking killed you!"

Qasim could see the scene in front of him, but he couldn’t hear what they were saying.

His ears were covered in blood.

Still, he knew exactly what to do.

He raised his hands and created a magic ball containing all the mana types, then fixed it in the air.

At the same time, he began whispering.

He raised his other hand, which started glowing with blue light, and created a mixed attack using the Light Beam and the magic ball.

He aimed it straight at the fox’s head.

The entire world seemed to move in slow motion.

Qasim watched his attack travel through the air in all its glory.

It slowly reached the fox’s head...

And pierced straight through it.

The attack continued through the fox’s head and then pierced through Valen’s left ear.

Silence followed.

Qasim couldn’t speak.

His jaw was slightly broken, and several bones throughout his body were either broken or close to breaking.

He had lost a tremendous amount of blood from his wounds, and his hearing was still impaired, blood covering his ears.

But one thing was clear.

In front of him stood the body of a powerful fox.

Its face was the ugliest fox face Qasim had ever seen.

But it became even uglier when a hole formed directly beneath its golden eye.

The next moment, the only sound that could be heard was the sound of the fox’s body collapsing to the ground.
