In his soul space, Luke inspected his Mythic Draft.
He had five, but five Draft Cards doesn’t mean five different beasts because one beast could have up to four armor pieces.
If 3/5 Drafts belonged to one beast and 2/5 to another, only for neither of them to be completed, that would be disappointing.
That’s why Luke hoped the Dark Dragonlord Breastplate was among them. For at least, he would get another beast right now because Amigo said the Breastplate was all that was left for the Dragonlord.

DING!
〖Congratulations on successfully forging (5) Mythic-tier Armor!〗
〖+2500 XP!〗
Luke dropped his hammer to rest after that. It was his first time forging this many armor pieces at once, let alone them being Mythic grade.
He looked at the armor pieces one after another and was happy when he saw the last one.
The Breastplate.
It was the last armor piece to complete the set for a Mythic dragon with two heads and a titanic temper.
But he waited for the system to confirm. What if that little brat Amigo had bluffed and there were more armor parts?
〖Success! Set Completed: Dark Dragonlord "Bellisunder"〗
"Wait. Don’t celebrate yet," Luke said to himself. "There’s another..."
〖Success! Set Completed: Empyreal Angel〗
Two Mythic beasts at once? Last time, Luke had called himself the luckiest man alive for getting all of Amigo’s pieces together. Now he was sure he has used up all the luck for the rest of his life!
Quickly, he assembled all the armors—the Wingguards, Breastplate, Collar, Armlets and Anklets—and kept them the same way he had done before Amigo was revived.
He didn’t know how long it would take before the beasts these armors belonged to were revived, but he had done his part. Now, the Flame of Innovation would do the rest.
In the meantime, Luke turned his attention to the last Mythic armor set that was still unpaired.
The Dark Dragonlord set was complete. The Empyreal Angel set was complete.
What remained was the Olympian Serpent set.
For now, Luke only had one piece—the Bodyplate.
"Look, the Olympian Serpent has that name thing: Medusa."
Amigo had said these were original beasts with original names.
Does this mean they are more important than the other Mythic beasts like Amigo himself, the Empyreal Angel, and even Scarlett’s Empyrean Phoenix?
Luke picked up the Bodyplate and inspected it. It was tremendous in size, flexible and covered in scales, with an irregular shape that made it look like chainmail.
The design of this armor made sense for a snake-like beast. The Olympian Serpent had no arms, legs, or anything else that could wear normal armor, so a Bodyplate was the only piece that could fit its body.
But that left Luke wondering... If Medusa was just a serpent who couldn’t wear anything else, what could the last armor piece be? A helmet or a crown?
Those were the only two reasonable options a snake could wear.
Also, if there are two armor pieces max Medusa had, that meant Luke was very close to reviving her too. He just had to be lucky again with his drafts.
He did not mind having four mythic beasts at the same time now.
In light of the fact that he had established Amigo’s Foundational Path and helped him adopt a Branch successfully, Luke couldn’t be more sure of himself that he could do it three more times.
"I should return to my body for my safety," Luke said after he could see his job here was done. What was left is to come back when the beasts are revived.
But after thinking for some time, Luke decided to put the Olympian Serpent "Medusa" Bodyplate to use.
Who knew how long it would take him to get the Draft Card for the other armor piece?
So, rather than disregarding a mythic beast of this excellence, Luke should add it to his arsenal and summon it just like he does for his Ancient-grade armors.
He only "disregarded" the Dark Dragonlord Wing Guards before because his soul was still at D-Rank, and he was unable to summon it.
But now his soul was C-rank after absorbing the master core of the pentegate. A C-rank comes with many benefits, such as a stronger connection to summons, greater soul capacity, and a higher tolerance for your summon’s abilities as it becomes stronger.
This implied that Luke could now summon and equip at least one Mythic-tier armor unlike before because his soul can now handle the load. And the Olympian Serpent Bodyplate was his pick, though it was his only choice if he wanted to revive the other beasts.
〖Olympian Serpent "Medusa" Bodyplate〗
〖Type: Beast Armor〗
〖Effect: Grants the wearer increased resistance by 500,000%, Plant Element, and the deceiving nature of the Olympian Serpent〗
〖Skill: Grogon and Eden’s Curses〗
Luke had to admit. The Olympian Serpent’s data sounded a bit more mythological than the Dark Dragonlord.
Who knows how many skills are contained in those curses listed?
Also, the Olympian Serpent possessed wood/plant element. This would grant Luke the power to control vines, leaves, and trees.
It was a very rare ability, unlike fire that was common.
In an apocalyptic world like this one, having wood element could be useful.
Taking all this into account, Luke didn’t see one con of equipping the Olympian Serpent Bodyplate. So, he closed his eyes and focused until the armor manifested on him, settled over his form, and aligned with his figure until it fit perfectly.
Luke opened his eyes and looked down at himself.
The Bodyplate covered his chest and sides, its scales interlocking with each other in a meet-and-cover fashion. Yet, there was still space for flexibility. The armor wasn’t heavy, too, despite it covering almost all of him.
Luke touched the scales with his fingers, then moved his body around to test it.
