The Arcade Golem didn’t stand a chance because Luke used a fusion technique that was way too strong for it, wiping out the boss before it could even show off its moves.

But Luke unleashed everything he had on it without needing to, so the extra damage had to go somewhere. As a result, the arcade was blown apart, and the walls crumbled into pieces.

Red lightning covered everything, crawling over the broken things and the crumbled walls as the leftover power kept vibrating in the air.

It took a few seconds for the sparks to die down, leaving Luke standing there in the mess and looking at his hands, proving to himself that combining another pair of skills had actually worked.

But he realized he wasn’t being as creative as he thought.

In his last fusion, he combined Vecna’s Arm from the Hell Ape Gauntlet with Lightning Trident from the Lightning Dragon Wing Guards. This time, he had done something similar, combining skills from the same Hell Ape and Lightning Dragon.

Different skills, same Ancient-grade beasts.

"Next time, I’ll try something different," Luke thought as he inspected his other armors.

Maybe he could fuse between his chestplate and sabatons, and see what new synthesis they could give.

So far, all he had was synthesis between the Hell Ape and the Lightning Dragon

Luke could also attempt fusing three or even four armos skills together if his body could take it. Even attempt fusing a skill from the Olympian Serpent Bodyplate. It was Mythic-grade. Fusing it with another armor sounded very catastrophic.

「GT: 710,500 pts」

「Hunter Trial Day 4| Remaining Time: 4:59:59」

「Luke Kingsley is the first student to reach 700,000 pts!」

「Luke Kingsley has attained the title: Pioneer of Trials!」

Maybe with this many points, Luke could smile and soak the praise.

He had been collecting every title and left nothing for anyone else. Other students must be furious watching him take everything.

Luke questioned whether his joy was coming from his success or from knowing other students were envious of him.

When he thought about it, he didn’t care which way.

They had mocked him for not having a beast and laughed when he was banished from his family. Now he was sitting at the top while they struggled to catch up. For once, he had the right to gloat.

But at what cost?

Luke’s smile faded when he looked around at the destroyed arcade because the system took 1,000 points off his reward for causing this much damage. The deduction also proved his fusion technique was too strong, but it also served as a warning that he couldn’t just spam it everywhere whenever he wanted to "test a new synthesis."

The building looked like it was about to fall over because his attack turned the old game machines into scrap, tore down the ceiling wires, and cracked the walls that were already weak.

The corruption was gone with the monsters, but Luke couldn’t shake the feeling that destroying the zone like this could have consequences. Maybe his fusion had disturbed the Aeon in these surroundings, and given enough time, the arcade might become corrupted again and spawn another batch of monsters.

"Darn it, how do I fix this?" Luke thought. "If I indeed make the corruption come again, I’ll be leaving the people around here in more danger than before..."

Soon, Luke found a solution.

By focusing on his Olympian Serpent Bodyplate, he activated a skill.

The skill manifested as a spiritual force like Serpahina’s powers.

This force then twinkled out of Luke’s fingers and embraced the destroyed arcade like it was a blessing.

In some sense it was. Because a second later, a little plant sprouted in the middle of the ruins, something biologically impossible.

This little offshoot became an adult in no time.

It grew, pushing roots through concrete as vines wanted their way around the rubble. Olive-green and brown-green leaves spread out while red and purple flowers bloomed splendidly.

The stem thickened in a show of mythical maturation, the branches stretched out of the ceiling like fingers reaching for the heavens, and in no time, that baby shoot had become a fantasy-like tree as tall as an apartment, in the middle of the arcade’s ruins.

〖Skill: Garden Making has been activated!〗

Soon, a tree that hadn’t been there before was now there.

It was nothing like an ordinary tree, of course. At some point, its growth stopped, and even the creator, Luke, was surprised by the result.

He had no clue he could pull this off. All he did was trust the feeling coming from Medusa’s soul inside the armor, letting the energy take over as he focused on the feeling until he figured out how the armor worked.

The more he concentrated, the more he understood.

Luke did more things to test the bodyplate. He shot vines from his hands, made plants grow from cracks in the street, then dismissed them. He could also transform parts of his limbs into vines or roots, giving him another way to manipulate a fight.

All of this sparked Luke’s curiosity. How powerful was the Olympian Serpent? Was she low-key some kind of god of nature?

Because he had just used her power to grow a purification or also called an anti-courrpution tree.

As long as this tree was here, its aura would block any corruption from coming back and keep the civilians living nearby safe.

If the Olympian Serpent could originally do all this, then she must be aligned with nature or something along that category.

Luke’s hands clenched into fists when he realized what this meant for his future because his game plan must undergo some adjustments.

If he could use this armor to fix one dump of an arcade, he could literally do the same thing everywhere else, like walking into Skeleton Town to make those abominable zones safe for humans again, which meant he could reshape entire cities and completely change the world.

Except this was the same world that threw him out.

The same society that laughed at him for being a loser with no beast, arrested him, and treated him like trash with no future.

Now those same people would be begging for his power when the time is ripe.

His knuckles popped as he squeezed his grip harder.

If they wanted his help with anything, they were going to have to pay up big time.
