Walking between Mitsuri, Nezuko, and Aoi, I couldn’t help but feel a little amused at the stares we received from the passing NPCs of Nazarick. While everyone was used to seeing me with strong, beautiful women, this trio had a different energy—a blend of sweetness, chaos, and quiet grace.

"I still can’t believe how beautiful this place is," Mitsuri said, spinning in her heels like a child seeing a festival for the first time. "It’s like a royal palace from a dream!"

"Especially the ceiling," Nezuko added, eyes wide as she looked up. "It’s like it’s... moving?"

"Magic," I said, smiling. "The ceiling of this corridor mimics the sky of whatever realm you wish to view. Right now it’s showing the heavens from your world."

"That’s so over the top," Aoi said, crossing her arms—but even she couldn’t hide her amazement. "It’s amazing, though."

We reached a wide hall filled with soft ambient music and floating candles—Nazarick’s garden-view tea room.

Mitsuri gasped. "A date spot! This is totally a date spot!"

"I thought we’d start here," I said, gesturing to the already-prepared table with refreshments. "Something light before more sightseeing."

The girls sat down as I took my place. Sweets from all worlds were laid out, along with tea blends both magical and mundane. Nezuko immediately reached for a honey-dusted mochi, while Aoi poured tea for everyone, ever the caretaker.

"I’ve never tasted anything like this," Mitsuri said with her mouth full. "It’s sweet, but not too sweet. Perfect!"

"I helped make some of this," I admitted.

They all looked at me.

"...You cook?" Aoi asked, blinking.

"No, but I can create it." I said.

"I feel like that’s aimed at someone specific," Aoi muttered with a suspicious squint.

"Totally," I said with a wink.

After tea, we walked into the Nazarick Gardens. Unlike natural gardens, this one bloomed in perpetual twilight, with floating lanterns and softly glowing flowers of impossible colors. Nezuko ran ahead, twirling among the blossoms like a spirit reborn. Mitsuri clung to my arm, admiring everything with sparkling eyes.

"I feel like I’m in a fairy tale," she whispered.

Aoi walked beside me quietly, occasionally brushing her hand against mine, clearly unsure if she should take it.

I took it for her.

She didn’t pull away.

"Alex," Nezuko called from ahead, "come look at this!"

She was standing under a massive tree with silver leaves that shimmered like starlight. As I approached, she turned and held out her hand to me. I took it, and Mitsuri and Aoi joined us under the tree.

The soft glow of the tree illuminated their faces. In that moment, I wasn’t a warrior, or a lord, or even a traveler between worlds—I was just a man, lucky enough to be surrounded by hearts that trusted me.

"This world you rule," Aoi said softly, "it’s unlike anything I’ve ever known."

"It’s not perfect," I admitted. "But it’s mine. And I’m happy to share it... with you."

Mitsuri’s eyes glistened with happy tears. Nezuko hugged me tightly, nuzzling into my chest. Aoi simply leaned on my shoulder, letting silence speak for her.

After the garden, we wandered toward the crystal lake on the ninth floor. The stars were reflected in the water, and magical koi swam beneath the surface.

"I want to come back here again," Mitsuri said. "With everyone."

"You’re always welcome," I replied.

"No," Nezuko said with a playful smile. "She means just the four of us."

I blinked. Aoi looked away, flustered, and Mitsuri giggled.

Well... who was I to refuse?
