Peerless Medical Emperor

Chapter 237: The War God Is Nothing Much

Chen Qingdi scoffed. "So what? Your Fang Family ain’t shit!"

Fang Jiahao’s eyes widened as he stared in disbelief. "You... What do you think you’re doing?"

Chen Qingdi looked down at him, his gaze like a dagger. "What am I doing? I’m going to make you pay, you bastard. Didn’t your Fang Family try to hire someone to take me out? Now we’ll see who’s playing who!"

The sun beat down on Fang Jiahao’s terrified, agonized face. Chen Qingdi had buried him in the dirt, leaving only the upper half of his body exposed. An unprecedented sense of fear and helplessness gnawed at him.

"Chen Qingdi, you..." Fang Jiahao gasped, his voice trembling with helplessness. "Are you going to kill me? Do you even know who my father is?!"

Chen Qingdi didn’t answer, merely staring at him coldly before dialing a number. His voice was frigid and ruthless.

"Geng Metal War God Fang Dahong, right? Your son, Fang Jiahao, tried to have me killed. You’d better get over here and see how we’re going to solve this."

Fang Dahong was clearly stunned by the news, yelling into the phone, "Where are you? I’m on my way immediately!"

After hanging up, Chen Qingdi turned to Fang Jiahao, a cold smirk on his lips. "Sounds like your dad’s a bit impatient."

Hearing Chen Qingdi’s words, Fang Jiahao’s heart sank into despair.

He lost control of his body. Urine trickled down his pant leg, wetting the soil. He fought to suppress the pain and shame, but tears blurred his vision.

"Assistant Yang, I’m begging you, let me go," Fang Jiahao pleaded, his voice choked with sobs. "You should know by now, my father is the Geng Metal War God, Fang Dahong! If you kill me, he’ll take revenge!"

Chen Qingdi laughed with contempt.

"Then let’s just see how Fang Dahong plans to get his revenge."

At that moment, it was as if the very stars in the sky had dimmed, overshadowed by the brilliance of the Ten Great War Gods. They were holding an emergency meeting to discuss how to deal with the Evil God Sect.

An unspoken tension and solemnity filled each of them, and only the occasional, determined glint in their eyes betrayed their inner resolve.

In the conference room, the War Gods fiercely debated various strategies, their faces etched with grim determination.

But just then, a shocking piece of news shattered the tense atmosphere like a thunderbolt from a clear sky.

"Chen Qingdi is burying Fang Jiahao alive!" The news threw the conference room into an uproar.

The Ten Great War Gods instantly halted their discussion. As if struck by lightning, they boarded their private jets and raced to the scene.

On the construction site, filled with the roar of an excavator, Fang Jiahao and his men had been brutally dug out. They lay collapsed on the ground like a pile of discarded trash.

Their faces, caked with dirt and exhaustion, looked as though they had just survived a nightmare.

As for Fang Dahong, the Geng Metal War God, he stood to the side completely stripped of his authority, nodding obsequiously like a dog.

Facing Chen Qingdi’s wrath, he could only endure the pain in silence, like a wild beast wounded by a hunter. His voice trembled.

"You’ve... you’ve shown me face this time. I’ll be sure to discipline my son properly and make sure he never causes trouble again!"

Chen Qingdi’s face was a mask of disgust and contempt as he spoke.

"And you realize this is me showing you face? Hmph. If you dare let your son run wild again, I’ll show him what a fate worse than death looks like!" His gaze swept over Fang Dahong.

"Remember this: respect is earned with strength, not given as a handout!"

Fang Dahong’s body trembled uncontrollably, as if he’d been struck by a sledgehammer.

He didn’t dare meet Chen Qingdi’s gaze. The rage burning in those eyes felt like it could incinerate his very soul. All he could do was lower his head and silently bear the humiliation.

Watching Fang Dahong’s pathetic display, a flicker of disappointment passed through the eyes of the other War Gods.

Their Geng Metal War God was so utterly broken. However, some of the War Gods approved of Chen Qingdi’s actions. "Chen Qingdi really did let you off easy this time," one said. "If your son dares to pull something like this again, don’t blame us for what happens!"

Another War God chimed in.

"That’s right. The Cyan Emperor is not someone to be trifled with. Anyone who dares to cross his line will be taught the consequences!"

Hearing this, the fear in Fang Dahong’s heart intensified.

He knew his son had made an unforgivable mistake, and he understood the resolve of both Chen Qingdi and the other War Gods. He began to regret his own indulgence and dereliction of duty.

Looking at his son’s pitiful condition, Fang Dahong’s heart twisted as if a knife were being dragged through it.

Fang Dahong, the once-imposing Geng Metal War God, was now kneeling on the ground, head bowed, not daring to even breathe.

His son, Fang Jiahao, knelt beside him, his face a mask of terror, unable to believe what was happening.

"You failed to raise him right! With a dog of a son like Fang Jiahao, you’re nothing but a dog of a father!" Chen Qingdi’s insults were like sharp daggers stabbing into Fang Dahong’s heart.

He didn’t dare argue or talk back. He could only kowtow repeatedly, as if it were his only option.

"Do you know who I am?" Chen Qingdi asked coldly.

Fang Dahong shook his head, his lips trembling, not knowing what to say.

"I’m just Shen Mingyue’s assistant," Chen Qingdi said, his tone laced with an authority that could not be questioned.

Fang Dahong looked up in terror, glanced at Chen Qingdi for a split second, and immediately lowered his head again. His heart trembled. He knew he had provoked someone he never should have crossed.

"A piece of trash like you deserves to be the Geng Metal War God?" Chen Qingdi continued. "You can’t even control your own son, letting him cause trouble for Shen Mingyue. Do you have a death wish?"

Fang Dahong didn’t dare object, merely kowtowing and muttering, "I deserve to die, I deserve to die."

"I’ll never dare to bother Shen Mingyue again," Fang Jiahao suddenly blurted out.

Chen Qingdi shot him a glance and sneered. "A piece of trash like you is worthy of being a War God’s son?"

Berated into silence, Fang Jiahao could only continue to kneel and listen. He knew his actions had not only landed his father in this predicament but had also brought utter disgrace upon himself.

"You two pieces of trash," Chen Qingdi said, his tone severe. "If you don’t want me to chop you up and feed you to the dogs, then you will kneel here and reflect on what you’ve done."

Fang Dahong and Fang Jiahao immediately knelt, not daring to move a muscle.

Their hearts were filled with terror and regret. Punishment was a certainty; they just had no idea what form it would take.

Kneeling on the cold ground, Fang Dahong was overwhelmed by a complex mix of emotions.

He had once been the Geng Metal War God, a figure of immense prestige. Now, he was kneeling meekly before Chen Qingdi.

His own son, thinking with his dick, had gone and provoked Shen Mingyue, only to end up kicking a steel plate a mile thick.
