The mission related to Rosha was nothing short of terrifying—rewarding a full 1500 villain points. Compared to the previous Fate-chosen targets, who barely offered a hundred or two, Rosha’s bounty was more than all of them combined. And on top of that, killing Rosha would unlock an additional, mysterious reward.

Rosha, too, was carefully observing Qin Xian. From him, Rosha sensed a strange aura that stirred unease in his heart. Despite the suspicion, Rosha held no hostility toward Qin Xian. Much like Anthony, he believed that anyone bearing the power of holy light could not possibly be evil.

He simply marveled that someone so young could have the strength to slay a 9-star being like the black dragon.

That kind of power marked Qin Xian as someone who stood at the pinnacle of the Hydra world. As for Rosha himself, though not much older than Qin Xian, most of his power came from being recognized by the world’s origin.

“Lord Rosha.” Seeing Rosha appear, Anthony finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Honestly, he was no longer worried about Qin Xian—what troubled him now was Edward. Zahl’s death could still be handled diplomatically, but if Edward died, the conflict between the Windsor and Saint-Spear families would become an irreconcilable blood feud.

That wouldn’t just be Windsor’s disaster—it could plunge the entire world of Hydra into chaos.

“Uncle Anthony,” Rosha responded with visible respect and warmth. Their friendship spanned more than a decade, and the Windsor Family had always been one of his staunchest allies.

With Rosha present, Qin Xian ceased his assault, while Edward stood trembling, his face pale. He was consumed by grief for his son and dragon companion—and humiliated beyond words for being so thoroughly beaten by someone younger.

The face of the Saint-Spear Family had been utterly crushed. When he saw Rosha, Edward immediately cried out, “Lord Rosha, you must seek justice for the Saint-Spear Family!”

On the way to Windsor, Edward had already guessed that the family might ask Rosha for help.

At the time, he had resolved that even if Rosha intervened, he would not compromise—at the very least, they had to hand over the one who killed Zahl. But now, his tone had changed to one of desperate pleading.

“My son Zahl was killed by this Soren! My partner Michelsky is dead too!”

Everyone watching exchanged awkward glances. Even Rosha couldn’t help but glance at Qin Xian.

At first, everyone had assumed Zahl must have been the aggressor, the typical arrogant Saint-Spear heir looking for trouble. But judging from the current scene, it really did seem like the Saint-Spear Family was the one who had suffered most.

Lia couldn’t hold back. “It was you who struck first! Zahl tried to kill Soren and got himself killed instead. If he wasn’t strong enough, whose fault is that? Even you didn’t hesitate to attack Soren without asking questions!”

Edward’s face darkened with shame, momentarily speechless. She was right—this was their usual method.

The Saint-Spear Family always acted on strength, suppressing others by force, regardless of justice or fairness. But this time they had picked the wrong target.

Rosha also felt a headache coming on. He didn’t like the Saint-Spear Family’s arrogance, and everything pointed to them being in the wrong. But the losses they’d suffered were enormous—a direct heir and two legendary dragons.

Even for a family as powerful as the Saint-Spear, this was a devastating blow. Mishandling this would certainly trigger their fury. And whether he liked it or not, Rosha had to admit the Saint-Spear Family was a critical pillar in the war against the Void.

Punishing Soren? That wasn’t an option. First, Qin Xian had done nothing wrong. Second, his strength was now proven to surpass even Edward. Punishment wasn’t even possible. In fact, Rosha needed to recruit him—to unite every force capable of resisting the Void.

After a moment of thought, Rosha finally spoke. “Lord Edward, you know the truth. Soren is not at fault here, and the Windsor Domain has already suffered severe damage. Still, I do grieve Zahl’s death. So, for compensation—during the next Origin Blessing, the Saint-Spear Family may send one extra candidate. Will that suffice?”

The Origin Blessing—now that was a serious offer. This wasn’t some derivative of origin power like in the Windsor Domain. This was pure, unfiltered power from Hydra’s world origin. Until now, only Rosha had ever received it.

But since gaining control of the origin, Rosha had been able to share this blessing with others, making it the most coveted prize in all of Hydra. Each major force had to fight tooth and nail for a spot.

Granting the Saint-Spear Family one extra slot was an enormous concession.

Edward’s face remained twisted with sorrow, but he knew this was the best outcome they could hope for. He nodded stiffly. “Thank you, Lord Rosha.”

Without another word, he turned to leave, casting a venomous glare at Qin Xian before disappearing. Everyone could see it—the Saint-Spear Family now bore a deep grudge. Against Qin Xian.

Against the Windsors. A storm was brewing.

But Qin Xian’s expression remained calm, untouched by the hatred. In his eyes, the Saint-Spear Family was already dead.
