After the Saint-Spear Family’s departure, the once-tense atmosphere finally began to ease. Anthony offered a faint smile and nodded toward Qin Xian. “Soren, let me introduce you. This is Lord Rosha.”

Qin Xian calmly studied Rosha, then smiled and said, “The Guardian of the World, the Hero Lord Rosha. It’s an honor to meet you. My name is Soren.” He gave a slight nod of greeting, wearing the same smile the Windsor Family members had grown familiar with.

Strangely enough, when he had fought Edward, that smile looked utterly arrogant and tyrannical, like something from a classic villain. But now, that very same smile seemed gentle, humble, even likeable.

“Soren…” Rosha’s heart skipped a beat.

That name wasn’t common in the Hydra World, and for some reason, it filled him with an inexplicable sense of danger. Yet that sensation faded almost immediately. Rosha nodded. As a fellow holy light knight, he instinctively felt a trace of goodwill toward Qin Xian.

As the world’s guardian, Rosha’s goal was simple—to unite every power capable of resisting the Void. Whether Soren was a demigod or something else didn’t matter. As long as he could fight the Void, that was enough.

In this world, holy light was the most powerful force against the Void. It could purify corruption and stood at the complete opposite end of the spectrum. A knight of the light simply couldn’t be connected to the Void. That was enough for Rosha to trust him.

The Windsor Domain soon recovered. This was a world of magic, after all, and with enough magical aid, the destruction was quickly repaired—at least on the surface. Rosha, meanwhile, was eager to have a proper conversation with Qin Xian.

Inside Windsor Castle, several imposing figures stood near Rosha, all quietly observing Qin Xian.

These weren’t ordinary people—each of them was a 9-star powerhouse. They were Rosha’s closest companions, those who had adventured and grown alongside him. Now, they stood among the strongest in all of Hydra, their exploits the stuff of legend.

Rosha smiled. “Sir Soren, your strength is truly extraordinary. Forgive my curiosity, but may I ask which noble family you hail from?”

While Soren was clearly a holy light knight, if Rosha was to invite him into Hydra’s central power structure, he had to understand at least a bit of his background.

The Hydra World had a history stretching back over a hundred thousand years, filled with the rise and fall of countless powerful families, nations, and divine entities. Some gods had even interbred with mortals, producing demigods.

For instance, the King of the Green Wilds, Teraliel, was born of an elven goddess and an elven woman. He had ruled for tens of thousands of years as the supreme leader of the elves.

During the early Void invasions, he led his people and fought for over thirty years before dying heroically in battle. To this day, a few demigods still existed—pillars of resistance against the Void.

Qin Xian, of course, had anticipated such a question. Without speaking, he let his body radiate divine holy light.

A faint divine pressure began to emanate from him, and his golden irises shimmered with power. In that moment, his presence was indistinguishable from a true demigod’s—solemn, commanding, divine.

Anthony and Rosha exchanged glances, their doubts completely erased.

A demigod!

Qin Xian’s aura was identical to those of god-blooded offspring. His voice echoed, as if from another plane. “My father’s name is not to be spoken aloud. As for me…”

With a wave of his hand, several void crystals floated into the air. Each one pulsed with a terrifying presence—these had come from beings at least as strong as Void Marshals.

Seeing these, Rosha’s eyes lit up. The combat achievement they represented was immense, even by Hydra’s standards.

“I’ve spent most of my life in the outer realms, honing myself through battles against the Void.”

Any doubt Rosha might have had vanished.

He extended his hand with sincerity. “Though we’ve won a few battles, the Void’s power remains overwhelming. To fight it, we must give everything we have. Sir Soren, as a demigod and a mighty warrior, will you join us?”

Qin Xian’s eyes twinkled with a strange light, but his face broke into a warm, genuine smile. He extended his hand and grasped Rosha’s firmly.

“The Void is the enemy of all life. That much—I truly understand.”

He meant it. That one sentence came from the depths of his heart.

Rosha was overjoyed. A demigod had joined their cause! He gripped Qin Xian’s hand tightly, gratitude shining in his eyes.

Though what puzzled him was—Qin Xian didn’t let go.

Thirty seconds passed… and only then did Qin Xian release his hand.
