Qin Xian’s system interface lit up with a series of newly acquired skills. He had successfully copied them. A faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips

Skills like Life Link, World Summon, Song of Glory, and Divine Shockwave—even a quick glance told him each one was immensely powerful, practically divine in nature. But one skill in particular, Hydra’s Recognition, made Qin Xian’s breath catch slightly.

Hydra’s Recognition (Mythic-grade): Enter the “World Master” state. All skill cooldowns reduced by 99%, all primary stats increased by 99%, immune to all control effects, and damage taken reduced by 99%. Duration: 1 hour. Cooldown: 24 hours.

It was absurdly overpowered. The stat increases and damage reduction were already impressive—he had similar effects from his Oracle Knight abilities—but the 99% cooldown reduction? That was a game changer. Many high-tier abilities in his arsenal had 24-hour cooldowns. In this state, they could be used every fifteen minutes.

His power would skyrocket.

One skill that particularly benefited from this was Judgment Edict, which dealt 50% of the target’s max HP as true damage, guaranteed to hit, and reduced their accuracy and primary attributes for 240 seconds.

Cooldown: 24 hours. With the effect of Hydra’s Recognition, this would be cut to roughly 14 minutes. In a prolonged fight, he could use it twice—100% max HP in true damage. It was lethal.

It also explained how Rosha had managed to repeatedly slay Void Lords and shatter the Blood Legion. Under this buff, he was practically unstoppable.

But there was a catch. Though Qin Xian had acquired the skill, it was greyed out.

At the bottom of the skill description, it read: Activation condition – Hydra’s Wish: Form a soul contract with the Incarnation of Hydra.

Qin Xian’s eyes narrowed slightly. His theory had been confirmed—Hydra’s World Origin had developed sentience and even a physical form.

Even as the First Court’s royal heir and a Void General, with intimate knowledge of world cores, Qin Xian had never encountered a world origin that achieved true sentience and form. Hydra was the first.

He didn’t know what made Hydra so special, but he knew if this information ever reached the Void Realm, the Seven Great Courts would go into an uproar. The other royal houses wouldn’t hesitate to violate all agreements and descend upon Hydra to seize control of its world origin.

His eyes swept over Rosha’s companions. One of them must be the Incarnation of Hydra.

Among those companions was a blonde woman watching him closely—Rosha’s fiancée, Princess Audrey of the Carpe Empire, the most powerful human nation in Hydra. Audrey looked at Qin Xian with joy in her heart.

To her, Qin Xian was a righteous and mighty knight, like Rosha, someone who could share the weight Rosha had been carrying alone.

She smiled. “Sir Soren, the Carpe Empire welcomes your arrival.”

Qin Xian already had a general understanding of Hydra’s world structure. He knew the Carpe Empire was the central pillar of human resistance against the Void. It was where leaders of various races and kingdoms gathered. If Carpe fell, Hydra’s resistance would be decapitated

He returned her smile. “I very much look forward to visiting the Carpe Empire.”

Since his identity was now fully accepted and his strength beyond doubt, the group prepared to leave Windsor Domain and return to the capital using the teleportation array. Qin Xian and Lia accompanied them.

With Zahl dead, the Windsor-Saint-Spear engagement was naturally annulled. And Lia’s feelings for Qin Xian were apparent to everyone.

As the teleportation magic activated, Qin Xian narrowed his eyes. Hydra’s teleportation arrays were remarkably similar to those of Earth. Despite being different worlds, some aspects of civilization were shared.

The scenery changed.

Before him lay a magnificent city of splendor. Its walls were built from pure white marble, and its golden rooftops sparkled in the sunlight.

At the heart of the city was an immense plaza, with a towering statue at its center. Surrounding it were finely crafted shops and taverns, adorned with detailed carvings and colorful banners fluttering from their windows.

This was the capital of the Carpe Empire.

The very heart of the Hydra World.
