"All forces, charge!"

He squeezed his legs, and the ferocious Magical Beast, which had long been eager to go, shot out like an arrow loosed from a bow.

Behind him, the Centaur Heavy Cavalry followed closely, forming a V-shaped charging formation with Levi as its unbreakable tip.

They were positioned above the Demon camp, in a large area of gentle slopes that stretched downward. Not taking advantage of such terrain when one’s entire force was cavalry would be the mark of a complete and utter fool.

The charge of three hundred Giant Beasts, each weighing several thousand pounds, made the very earth tremble. A dull, thunderous roar filled the sky.

This immense display of power naturally caught the Demons’ attention. The highest-ranking Six-armed Snake Demons shrieked desperately, ordering the entire Demon force to organize a defense.

At the very front was a mob of Little Demons. These lowest-level Demons of the Abyss stood only about a blade and a half tall. They wore not even a scrap of cloth and wielded weapons like rocks or pitchforks.

One could say they were the Otherworld’s version of Goblins.

They also shared the Goblins’ cowardly nature of bullying the weak and fearing the strong. The charge of the heavily armored Centaur Heavy Cavalry was no less terrifying than a landslide of countless tumbling boulders.

Only the world’s finest armies could face such a ferocious charge head-on, and this motley crew clearly didn’t qualify.

Although the Little Demons were forced to turn and face the enemy by the High Level Demons, they ultimately couldn’t withstand the pressure as the charge drew closer and scattered to both sides.

Like Moses parting the Red Sea, Levi led his Centaur Cavalry straight into the heart of the Demon camp as if it were empty land.

Compared to the Little Demons, the Babu Demons were clearly a bit more courageous. They actually tried to resist the Heavy Cavalry’s charge with Shields and Long Spears.

But their bravery only led to a more miserable end. The Centaurs, with an average height of three blades and weighing several thousand pounds, didn’t even need to do much—they just held their Lances steady before them.

In an instant, their Lances, a full four blades in length, were skewered full of Demons like candied haws on a stick. With a powerful shake, the Demons were flung away like broken sacks, leaving gaping, bowl-sized holes in their chests.

They didn’t even need their Lances. The sheer kinetic energy from the charge, powered by their body weight alone, was enough to send these Demons flying over ten blades away.

These Demons finally and thoroughly understood what it felt like to be on the receiving end of these Giant Beasts’ charge—it was like Mount Tai collapsing, like Giant Stones rumbling down, a feeling of being about to be crushed into paste, yet utterly helpless to stop it.

If this were a game, the kill feed in the bottom-left corner would have been spammed into oblivion, or perhaps frozen and crashed from the sheer volume of information.

These Demons were like a block of cheese, and the charging Centaurs, an overwhelming tide, were like a red-hot knife, melting through them in an instant.

It was a visual spectacle even more stunning than a charge of the Barbarian Warriors. The Demons fell in droves. Whether they braced their Long Spears to resist the impact or raised looted Shields, their efforts were more futile than a praying mantis trying to stop a chariot.

Levi had always feared that the brutes of High Cliff Castle would become lost in the thrill of battle, so he had constantly drilled into them the creed of a truly elite force: achieving the strategic objective is far more important than just racking up kills. This was the timeless standard that separated a common thug from an elite Warrior.

Thanks to the fact that he was already like one of the Gods in the hearts of these men, his words were carried out to perfection.

No one paid any mind to the Demons on their flanks, nor did they care about the wailing enemies they had sent flying. They had only one objective: to punch through the Demon camp and split the battlefield.

If they were to stop, no matter how brave they were, they would be swamped and overwhelmed by the Demons’ human-wave tactics.

These Demons were not a regular army to begin with. Their command structure was simply High Level Demons managing low-level ones.

They were used to swarming their enemies and bullying with numbers. They fought by rushing forward in a single mob and had no idea how to counter a proper cavalry charge.

No matter how the High Level Demons roared at them, the barely-maintained discipline shattered and dissipated.

The Demons in the path of the charge began to flee in all directions.

Hog, who had been waiting impatiently, immediately let out a heaven-shaking wolf howl. Countless Wolf Cavalry charged down the slope, devouring the fleeing Demons on both sides bit by bit.

Levi was already in a killing frenzy. He paid no attention to how many Demons were in front of him; all he knew was that with every swing of his sword, a continuous stream of notifications chimed in his mind.

In his eyes, these Demons were even weaker than the native Alliance Army in the Wilderness. But he knew this was only because the forces of High Cliff Castle were no longer what they once were.

Now, they felt like players who had leveled up in the Wilderness and returned to the starting village.

Besides, this Demon army was merely a vanguard.

Fujero stood on a distant slope, watching everything unfold. This was the second time he had witnessed the Lord fight in person, and each time, the battle completely shattered his worldview.

Setting aside the Centaur Heavy Cavalry, just the Knight leading the charge was, by a conservative estimate, worth at least a thousand soldiers.

This was no exaggeration. In this short period, although he hadn’t made a precise count, the number of souls claimed by the man’s sword had definitely surpassed three hundred.

"It’s our turn to act."

Fujero patted the officer beside him on the shoulder.

"Y-Yes, my lord."

The officer had been stunned into a stupor by the shocking scene before him, and he stammered his reply after snapping out of it.

Fujero didn’t blame him. Anyone who hadn’t personally witnessed the terror of the Lord of High Cliff Castle would likely be just as stunned at this moment.

If nothing unexpected happened, the Demons would be unable to withstand the tactic of a cavalry charge led by an unparalleled general like Levi. This perfectly executed military maneuver was something no mortal force could hope to counter.

It was only a matter of time before their formation was broken and they were defeated.

Unfortunately, mortal power was not the only force in this world.

In this season that had just begun to warm, with a distinct chill still in the air, Levi suddenly felt the space around him grow scorching hot.

From his high vantage point, he could easily use the information available to pinpoint the source of the change.

It came from the position of a squad of Six-armed Snake Demons, and in their midst was a stooped, burly Horned Demon.

This Horned Demon was only about a blade and a half tall. Its hooves were blood-red, its body was wiry, and it had a pair of crimson eyes. A long wisp of a beard grew from its chin. In its hand, it held a Scepter embedded with a skull, and around its neck hung a collection of beast teeth of various sizes.

Any normal person seeing this attire would immediately associate it with a "Wizard, Shaman, or Priest."

And as it turned out, that was indeed the case.

It held its Scepter as its lips moved rapidly, muttering unknown words in a low voice. The red light glowing in the eyes of the skull on its Scepter grew increasingly intense.

Just as the Lord looked over, the creature finished its chant with a great roar.

"Lakani Xu!"

With the intervention of some kind of Power, space itself seemed to twist. A fist-sized flame appeared out of thin air and fell to the earth, instantly expanding and growing into a Flame Giant eight to nine blades tall.

’Summoning Magic?’ the Lord thought, his brow furrowed as he watched the Flame Giant.

He was instantly reminded of the Stone Giant from Kalia Town. Without a doubt, the enemy had contacted an Elemental Plane and summoned a Fire Elemental Creature.

The difference, however, was that the Stone Giant had a solid body, which was perfect for a close-combat brute like him to unleash his immense strength upon.

But this creature made of fire clearly wouldn’t be susceptible to that.

The Horned Demon Wizard’s face twisted into a grotesque, triumphant smile. With a wave of its Scepter, the Flame Giant roared and charged toward the lead Knight. The Demons in its path melted in an instant, like ice cubes dropped into hot oil.

"Everyone, break away!"

At the Lord’s wave, the Centaurs immediately split to either side. They bypassed the Flame Giant, with Gus taking the lead as the new spearhead to continue the charge.

That thing was not something the Centaurs could deal with; there was no need to senselessly sacrifice lives against it.

Physical attacks probably wouldn’t work on it, but that didn’t mean the Lord was backing down.

Having cultivated the "Holy Word Treasure Manual," he was no longer the same brute who had been completely helpless against Magic.

’You’ll be the perfect test subject for this move!’ the Lord thought with a cold smirk, beginning to mobilize the Holy Light Seed within his body.
