When Ash found Pikachu, he was surprised to discover that Steven, that rock fanatic, was also there, but May was nowhere to be seen.

"Is that so? I heard from my dad that you came to Dewford Island, so I sent you a message to let you know where I was." Steven looked innocent.

"Forget it. What’s going on? Why did you provoke so many Aron?" Ash asked, looking at the others.

"We don’t know either. It was Jessie who brought that group of Aron here," Brock explained.

"What do you mean I brought them here? It was clearly that little girl’s fault! She knew these creatures were alive..." Jessie went into full defensive mode, blaming the trouble she caused on May.

Although he didn’t understand the situation, Steven looked down at his Aron and said, "Aron, use Metal Sound."
