Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 1817: The Dark War (19)Kent left the battle on Planet Doorma to Tribe Chief Malthar and left for the second planet that Tower had pointed out as being at high risk of getting overrun.
Planet Kokoro is an all-Orc-dominated planet.
It is one of the few planets in the Eastern Region where humans are not welcomed. Orcs and humans don’t get along much, so naturally, no human with a functioning brain cell would go there.
However, today, they found themselves besieged on all sides by Dark Fiends.
It took only a few minutes for them to understand that their end had come. The Dark Empress had sent over 500,000 Dark Fiends, with almost half of them being Immortal Lords.
Basically, that was just too much for them to handle. Luckily for them, when things became dire, a new portal opened, and Lilian, Elsa, Selene, alongside some warriors from the Sky Fox Race, walked out and started to cut down the horde of Dark Fiends.
But even with the reinforcements, many Orcs kept dying, while some also chose to run for their dear lives. Regardless, the battle soon changed when Elsa finally met the requirement that had been holding her back for years.
She is the Soul Warden, leader of the Soul Sentinel, one of the most dangerous legions to ever grace the universe and battlefields with their presence.
When Kent awakened her true name, she was able to summon four Soul Sentinels. However, ever since then, she hadn’t been able to summon even a single Soul Sentinel.
She knew that if she could summon more, she would be able to offer more help in large battles like the one they were now fighting.
However, even during the battle in the Supreme Realm, the last requirement, which was unknown to her, remained unmet, preventing her from summoning them.
That was until now.
Just when she cut off the head of a Dark Fiend, she sensed her connection to the summoning reestablished. So she clapped her hands together and spoke the words.
"Standing with the authority of the Chief Soul Warden, I call ye all, my Soul Sentinels, to heed my call and take up arms once again. March into battle and cleave all filth from the face of the universe..."
She took a deep breath, and then her eyes shone brightly...
"Soul Sentinel Call."
Instead of portals, large gateways opened, and from within, hundreds of Soul Sentinels, each clad in silver armor, rushed out, some seated on beast mounts, others riding their weapons. In no time, over five thousand Soul Sentinels appeared, and more kept coming.
When Kent arrived, he was shocked to see that the number of Dark Fiends left was less than two thousand.
"What happened?" he asked, walking toward Selene, who was standing atop a stone platform, watching the last of the Dark Fiends get cut down.
"Don’t ask me, ask the Soul Sentinel wife of yours," Selene replied with a pout. Clearly, watching the Soul Sentinels kill, knowing their kills would count as Elsa’s, made her a bit jealous. So she used her chin to point in Elsa’s direction.
Kent laughed, planted a kiss on her forehead, and teleported to Elsa’s side. "I suppose you have finally met the requirement to summon your Soul Sentinels back from the dead."
Elsa jumped into Kent’s arms, causing the already jealous Selene to roll her eyes. "It appears so. However, I was only able to summon 10% of them. I need to raise my cultivation to the Demigod Stage to summon more."
"That is good to hear. But still, 10,000 gods is no small legion of warriors, Elsa. You should be proud of yourself. Also, you should head back to the Supreme Realm with your legion. Leave the bugs to Lilian and Selene."
Elsa nodded and allowed herself to be kissed before she vanished. A few seconds later, her Soul Sentinels were also gone. But she left 100 of them to protect her sisters.
This made Kent smile, knowing that to his wives, protecting each other was more important than their personal glory. Even Selene, who had been a bit jealous, smiled when she saw a lineup of 50 God-level Soul Sentinels bow before her.
"At least she isn’t as annoying as Big Sister Pandora," she muttered before joining the battle again.
Kent walked to Lilian’s side, and after sharing a kiss, he left for the next planet.
Tower kept updating him in real time, so he knew where to go next and what help to send. While he wasn’t able to get ahead of the Dark Empress’s threat, he was able to manage it and minimize the damage.
Many worlds would have perished had he not sent help when he did.
Kent was thankful that he had finally managed to awaken the Tower when he did.
If the Tower had been the previous version, perhaps it would have taken time to reverse-engineer the spell, or it might even have been impossible, leading to the destruction of dozens of worlds.
But that didn’t happen, and from the worlds he had visited, while many warriors and innocents had died, the death toll wasn’t anywhere near what it would have been without the help of his legion and wives.
Meanwhile, back on the Supreme Planet, the battle, while still chaotic, had been brought under control by the arrival of the Soul Sentinels.
Already, Grand Shaman Vorgun had created more Soul Fiends, so they were no longer being overwhelmed. Indie’s legion of Grim Reapers and Underworld Warriors also seemed to have worked wonders.
They were also crushing their enemies, and more importantly, Grand Shaman Vorgun, Veera, and Shade King Nykali kept adding to their legions.
After this battle, the three of them would probably have the most to gain since their legions of Soul Fiends, Undead, and Soul Wraiths would increase in both numbers and quality.
However, while the larger battle was devastating, another equally dangerous battle had finally come to an end. This was the battle between the Blood Ancestor and Han, the Grim Blade.
Of course, Han won, but instead of killing the Blood Ancestor, he allowed him to live, as per Kent’s instructions before he left.
"You are a weakling, Blood Ancestor. Just because you have become a Primordial doesn’t mean you are unkillable. You may have thought yourself untouchable, but the truth is, even if you had fought Big Brother, he would have wiped the floor with you.
So go back and never, ever show your face again. Trust me, it is for your own good."
Han turned away, vanished into the tide of Dark Fiends, and started cutting them down.
Meanwhile, the Blood Ancestor was left stunned, unsure of what to say. He was completely stunned, in shock, and utterly humiliated.
He had come with his shoulders held high, thinking he would finally be able to kill the one person he had dreamed of killing for years.
However, not only had he missed yet another opportunity to kill Kent, but he had also been completely defeated in combat by a mere Celestial.
And as if that wasn’t bone-chilling enough, the immortality that had made him invincible in the past meant nothing before Han.
It was as though a single swing aimed at his head was all Han needed to kill him. That was simply too much to bear, but in the end, he was spared, and now all he could think about was where to hide his face.
’I lost,’ he said inwardly, his body staggering back a few steps. Inwardly, he was just as stunned as he appeared on the outside.
Eventually, the words left his lips...
"I lost."
