<You are now the Guardian of Planet Zhilakai (God-Tier World)>

Kent stood atop the shoulder of a large Celestial-level Dark Fiend Beast that Zaila had enthralled. During the final moments of the battle, she had unlocked a much deeper aspect of her Mind Cultivation Art, allowing her—just like Adina—to enthrall beings.

Adina had mesmerized her fair share of Dark Fiends, and the same was true for Ixeron, Kent’s beast companion, who possessed one of the most unique Mind Cultivation techniques in existence.

In short, Zaila could now enthrall beings, both humanoids and beasts.

Adina could mesmerize just about anyone, while Ixeron could place a Mind Hex on anyone. Of course, among the three of them, Zaila possessed the largest and strongest army due to how lethal her Enthrall ability was.

But Adina and Ixeron were no slouches either.

Regardless, Kent now found himself standing on the shoulder of a Celestial beast that would have probably loved to maw on him had it not been for its undying loyalty to Zaila.

Staring at the messages that kept appearing before his eyes, his smile could be seen from miles away. It appeared his wives and legion were doing great work, ensuring that the planets they had saved became his vassal worlds.

By becoming their Guardian, they now added to his growing soul strength, which he knew would expand his Soul Universe even further.

After this battle, he knew he would become a completely different person. But seeing these messages and feeling the changes happening within him, Kent knew things had taken a much deeper turn.

The battle had ended, but the gains kept coming.

Everything had ended as it was supposed to, if not for the small hitch with the Blood Empress. Regardless, Kent now knew he had to think ahead to what lay ahead and prepare for the danger he could sense slowly approaching.

He could tell something significant had happened, and that had led to this moment. Already, Paragon had revealed part of it, but for some reason, Kent could tell that was merely a tiny piece of the truth.

The main clue concerned the manual he had inherited with his legacy. Now, all that was left for him to do was unlock its pages and read.

He had already unlocked the first page, so soon he would learn something about the life that existed before all this chaos and mayhem.

The notifications continued for a couple of hours.

In the end, out of the 250 planets, 205 chose to make him their Guardian. Most of them were Immortal Worlds, but he had also become the Guardian of fifty-five God Worlds.

That alone was more than enough for him to accumulate an immense amount of Soul Essence, enough to nurture his Soul Universe and unlock some of its abilities.

He had held back both his Soul Universe and the Underworld Soul River during the battle because he could sense that they had undergone significant upgrades while he was training in the Chaos Chasm.

He had no idea how extensive those upgrades were, but he had no intention of testing them in a battle where his allies were present. If an asteroid were to explode now, what guarantee is there that the resulting shockwave would affect only the Dark Fiends?

He had no answer to that yet, so he held himself back. But with the influx of Soul Essence entering his soul now, he knew he could easily find a solution to whatever questions he had.

Eventually, the last of his wives and legion returned to the Supreme Planet where the main battle had taken place.

Lady Kenzie had already healed all of them, so physically, they were in perfect condition. However, mentally, they all needed some sleep to clear their minds. The battle they had just finished had demanded everything they had, so they were completely spent.

When everyone had returned, Kent cleared his throat and said,

"Thank you all for coming when I called. I know the battle was impromptu, but thanks to your dedication and contributions, we managed to close a Chapter of the Dark Era, making history."

They nodded, everyone happy that the battle was finally over.

"Now, before we all become too happy, it is imperative to understand that this is just the first of many battles we will find ourselves in. As most of you know, the Dark Empress came from the Dark Era, but like her, there are others out there, each eager and ready to try to conquer this universe, just as they did before.

"Many of you have fought in some of these battles before, so you can attest to the fact that what is coming is far more dreadful than this one.

"Because of that, I urge you all to train harder and prepare for the next one. We are what the universe will depend on from here onward, so at every turn, we must be ready to rise to the occasion.

"But I am proud of you all for coming through for me and for everyone. You will be rewarded accordingly when we return to the Tower."

They nodded, smiles appearing on their faces. Kent had already instructed the Tower to calculate their kills and convert each one into the Tower Points they had earned.

He planned to give everyone access to the Tower Shop so they could buy whatever they wanted. He would also give them the opportunity to train in the Chaos Chasm, since the Tower would soon establish a connection to it.

His rewards for them would surely surpass anything the universe itself could offer.

"For now, let’s return to the Tower, and I will relay further instructions there. I have some matters to handle here first."

They nodded and soon left the planet, returning to the Tower. Kent’s wives took Fiannarel with them so they could spend some time together.

Meanwhile, Kent was left alone with the Seven Blood Warriors and Uncle Drake.

Uncle Drake turned to Kent with a smirk.

"I suppose you will return to playing with Immortals and Gods now that the battle has ended."

Kent smiled.

"My life is a bit complex, so I will indeed return to such a life. But it won’t be for long, so whatever you have planned, you should speed it up. I have a feeling we will be entering another devastating battle soon."

"I will be ready. I have gained so much from this battle, so I will enter seclusion for a couple of years. Inform me if something comes up and I am not out yet."

"I will."

Uncle Drake nodded, bid him farewell, and teleported away. Kent knew that the next time they met, Uncle Drake would probably be even more powerful. Perhaps he would have reached the peak he once attained during the Primordial Era.

He looked forward to that.

Turning to the Seven Blood Warriors, Kent smiled.

"Thanks, guys, for the help. Things would have become dire if not for your support."

Veylan Seren laughed, as he always did, and replied,

"No need to thank us, Lord Kent. It has been a while since we fought in a battle of this magnitude. We all enjoyed it."

The others laughed in agreement.
