Most of the dungeons inside the Dungeon Tower have been cleared, leading to more warriors who make up the Eternal Wrath Legion joining the team. This was how the Eternal Wrath legion now numbers in over a hundred, making them the largest yet.

However, many dungeons are still pending clearance. Some appeared a couple of hours ago, with more to come when Tower is done.

Kent didn’t come for any of them.

He came here for the Black Dungeons. He was advised by Tower to ignore it the first time he saw it. So far, there are dungeons inside the tower with last-floor bosses seated comfortably at the peak of the Celestial Stage.

But the Black Dungeon is a mystery, one that Kent planned to figure out.

To his shock, however, when he appeared inside the Dungeon Tower, instead of one Black Dungeon, there were now two, and more importantly, they were now oozing unique auras.

The first one gave off a cold ice aura, and the second came with a flame-type aura. Feeling both, Kent felt a bone-chilling killing intent seep into his body, the kind that made him question whether or not entering these dungeons would be a wise decision.

"Big Brother, I feel like these dungeons are calamities waiting to happen," Akira said, holding on to Kent’s left arm. Well, judging by how small she is, she held on to his pinky...

"That is indeed true, Akira, and I had no plans on entering either of them right now. I first have to gather some information, or else I might just end up walking to my doom."

Inasmuch as he wished to handle whatever horrors the two Black Dungeons were holding, he knew he had to tread carefully. So he would first wait for Tower to gather whatever information it could find before walking into either of them.

He soon left the Dungeon Tower with his lolis and headed out to the Tower Cities.

The upgrades affected the cities, too. However, compared to how extensive the changes inside the mountain garden had become, the changes to the cities were minor.

But he was glad to see dozens of natural islands had appeared in the Tower Cities. These islands could be converted into dwellings for some of the high-ranking members of the various cities.

While Kent was handling matters in his front, somewhere on the Dead Planet, Uncle Drew and his team were surrounded on all sides by agents of the Soul Temple.

It had been weeks since they had arrived on the Dead Planet following the mission Kent had given them.

They had made so much progress, but likewise, problems were bound to happen, and this time, it was with the Soul Temple agents.

Weeks ago, Uncle Drew and his team had killed some agents from the Soul Temple who had been following them and had planned to use the ambush by the Sand Centipedes to pull a fast one on them.

Unfortunately for them, Uncle Drew had long noticed them, and so, while they were unaware, their lives were taken in one decisive attack...

But they didn’t die without alerting their fellow agents. Long story short, reinforcements from the Soul Temple arrived, and they started following the trail left behind by Uncle Drew and his team.

At first, it appeared they wouldn’t catch up to them, but along the way, Uncle Drew and his team were ambushed by some warriors from the Zahki Clan.

They had killed a member of this clan before entering the Death World. So they, too, had come for revenge, and despite Uncle Drew and his team doing their best to handle them swiftly, their battle dragged on for hours, resulting in the Soul Temple getting wind of them.

Now they had caught up to them and surrounded them, weapons drawn...

"So you are the people who dared kill members of the Soul Temple," a lady holding a dagger with short black hair asked, looking at Uncle Drew and his teammates like they were bugs.

Uncle Drew looked at her narrowly, then smirked. "You make it sound like your so-called Soul Temple is made up of sacred beings that are beyond death... How stupid."

The lady who asked the question didn’t react negatively, which told Uncle Drew and his team she was not an easy opponent. While the 24 who came with her clearly looked poised, she surprisingly had a good hold on her emotions.

"Do you know what happened to the last person to kill an agent of the Soul Temple?" She let a smile form on her face, her deep black eyes scanning Nara as she continued. "Their death was slow and painful. Later, they became the meal we feasted on, and let me tell you, such souls are the most delicious.

"Right now, I can smell the taste of your souls, and damn, you people have the best ones I have smelled yet. I am going to enjoy feasting on your souls."

Vargus lifted his giant axe off his right shoulder and rested it across his shoulders. "For reasons I can’t place my finger on, I think you will die miserably today. Call it a gut feeling, but your death will be brutal." He laughed and added,

"Of course, there is a way to save your skin, and that is to turn back and walk away with your minions. Trust me, I am not one to advise anyone, so take my words seriously."

This time, the lady frowned, and a deep killing intent mixed with Soul Qi seeped out of her body. It appeared she planned to fight after all, which, from where Vargus stood, sounded like a very bad idea.

Despite being surrounded, none of them panicked. In fact, they even pitied the 25 Soul Temple agents surrounding them.

Their confidence, of course, came from Eryndor...

"It appears feasting on your souls is the path you have picked, huh?" the lady sighed and turned to her teammates. "Guys, it appears we will have to do it the hard way."

They smiled, and they were about to charge forward when Eryndor lifted his staff and commanded,

"Hell Gate... Open."

Before any of them could move, the large Hell Gates snapped open, and from the first gate, Thrakos, the Demon of Dread, stepped out, a wide grin painting his face.

Zandros, Kha’zixarath, and Xuanli also came out of their separate Hell Gates, bringing with them a dreadful feeling that immediately caused the 25 Soul Temple agents to panic.

But it was already too late to regret.

"Guys, kill them, but make sure it is slow and painful," Eryndor gave the order, and the grins on his four Hell Demons’ faces sent chills down the spines of the Soul Temple agents.

"Ah, what a day to be alive," Thrakos said, scanning the Soul Temple agents like they were food served on a silver platter.

"It is rather sad, really. I never expected to be called back to fight after the chaotic one we recently fought." Xuanli looked at the leader of the Soul Temple agents and shook her head. "You are unlucky to have met me."

That was the last thing she heard before her soul was forced out of her body.

The next second, she and seven others found themselves on a battlefield, standing on one side while the other side was filled with thousands of souls ready to attack...

The next second, they attacked, and all eight of them were swallowed by the chaos of battle.
