Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 1826: Guardian Tower UpgradesTower once told Kent that one day he would realise just how important the Guardian Tower is to his growth. That was three years ago, and today, he has finally seen it, and it is just too overpowered.
First, he had become the guardian of over 500 worlds, most added directly, with some added due to his influence.
For example, the medium worlds he had added before ascending to the High World had all become powerful worlds thanks to the resources he had left them, allowing them to spread their influence and win over other planets.
Now, he had become the guardian of 534 planets, with 220 of them being medium worlds. The rest are High to God Worlds, the places from which most of his gains keep coming.
Well, if this were before Tower had become whole, then he would have said his gains were only coming from the High to God Worlds.
However, things are very different now, or destined to become different, depending on what he does soon.
The moment he appeared inside the Guardian Tower, the messages that concerned that particular tower started to appear before his vision.
He quickly scanned through them, making sure he understood them well. In the end, they are all concerned about the newly awakened Guardian Dolls and other safety measures he can employ to strengthen and protect the worlds under his guardianship.
He had already purchased some and left them on the High Worlds he had become guardian of before ascending. Now, however, more have been added, and it appears he can purchase and remotely deploy them without being present.
Aside from that, he can upgrade the ones he has already purchased without recalling them first. He can remotely do any upgrade he wanted provided he has enough tower points or upgrade tokens.
But that is even the easiest part of it, since he only has to spend Tower Points, and the rest would be handled by the Tower. Kent knew he had some heavy purchases to make since he now had more worlds to protect.
They are aiding the growth of his soul essence, allowing his Soul Universe to grow more rapidly and unlock more abilities.
Of course, everything else was within expectation since Kent already knew that the more worlds he became guardian of, the more advanced the Guardian Tower becomes.
He, however, never expected the last message to show up, at least not while he never really saw something like that coming.
<You can now upgrade planets that are under your guardianship>
This measure had given him the chance to upgrade worlds under his guardianship, meaning he can upgrade medium worlds to High Worlds and High Worlds to Immortal Worlds.
It also means he can make God Worlds, Supreme Worlds, and so on. But as always, while this boon is something many would freak out about, Kent himself is freaking out.
But despite its overpowered nature, he knew there was a catch.
He dived deeper and saw that for a world to qualify for an upgrade, it must have reached some level of power. This power level had most to do with how many people living on these planets had reached some level of cultivation.
The max cultivation cap of a medium world is the Spirit Core Formation Stage, and to upgrade a medium world to a High World, there should be at least a hundred Spirit Core Formation Stage cultivators living in the world.
Back in Sonox, the number of Spirit Core Formation cultivators wasn’t even up to 50 when he arrived. Unlike the Immortal World, where there are many demigods, a medium world lacks resources, so producing Spirit Core Formation cultivators isn’t simple.
It can take someone almost their entire lifespan to rise to the rank of a Spirit Core Formation cultivator.
So, to upgrade them, there should be at least that many cultivators. But upgrading them naturally comes with so many benefits, the first being the lifting of their limitations.
They can rise beyond the Spirit Core Formation Stage and, more importantly, resources will be unlocked for them, allowing them to grow beyond that.
If a medium world upgrades to a High World, he would earn more soul essence, which is good for him.
Kent had already made provisions for some people who were much closer to the Spirit Core Formation Stage before he ascended. However, when he checked how many of these worlds qualified for an upgrade, only five met the requirements.
A few hundred are much closer, but he can only make five High Worlds now.
"Tower, how does it work?" Kent asked, hoping to hear from Tower. However, the silence soon made him aware that his lovely Tower was, at the moment, undergoing her complete awakening.
Luckily, he came with the next best people to answer him.
Dori looked at the message and answered:
"If the master issues the upgrade order, a planet-wide announcement would be made, alerting everyone to the upcoming changes that would rock their world. They would have time to prepare, since when a world awakens, the energy released is powerful enough to aid many breakthroughs.
Aside from that, the chances of there being a beast tide are high, so it is imperative to send adequate help to the planets involved before making any attempt to upgrade them."
"Oh, that makes sense." Kent had yet to upgrade a planet under his guardianship, but now that he had gained the power to upgrade them, his next plan would be to do that.
He tapped open the Guardian Store interface to review the various Guardian Dolls he had available. This time, they had been grouped by the planets’ ranks.
He reviewed them all, and to his shock, the dolls available were even more powerful than the ones he had already deployed. He knew he had to make some purchases, but for now, he placed a pin on it, since the last thing he wanted was to get carried away and spend more Tower Points than he could afford right now.
It is true that he is swimming in Tower Points, but that doesn’t mean he can just misuse them.
After learning from the 250 planets the Dark Empress had attacked, he knew he had to protect them well before things got out of hand next time.
The next place inside the tower he visited was the portals that led to the worlds he had become guardian of. Now, he could easily go there by simply walking through a portal.
"These upgrades would make things much easier should any of the planets under my guardianship come under attack."
After making sure he had covered every new upgrade inside the Guardian Tower, he left for the Inheritance Tower, where the various inheritances still remained.
Surprisingly, new inheritances had appeared, including even a few Primordial ones. This means whoever inherits them would have the cultivation arts of a Primordial and a sure chance to become a Primordial one day.
Kent was taken aback by this discovery, but he played it cool, knowing that once Tower was done, they would plan how best to handle these inheritances.
Because of such an inheritance, Elina had become the Nine Tribulation Dragon. If he can get more like her, then who is to tell what kind of power he would soon command?
He didn’t linger much in the Inheritance Tower since he ran the risk of overstaying if he started reading every detail about the inheritance. Some of the inheritances are just too wild. They came from people he knew, some friends, and many foes.
Later, he would dive deeper into all of them.
His next destination was the Dungeon Tower...
