Primordial Red Goblin

I just graduated highschool and have been wondering what to do with my life. I am eighteen years old and have never had a job. While driving down the highway another car crossed the center median and hit my car head on, killing me instantly. Now I am just here floating in the darkness. I cannot see nor hear anything. Just silence and darkness. Suddenly out of nowhere a transparent blue screen appeared in front of me with just one sentence, a question.

[Would you like a second chance at life?]

"What kind of question is that?" I asked out loud.

"Yes, I want to live!" I shouted into the darkness. The text on the screen disappeared before another message appeared.

[Initiating Reincarnation.]

"What the fuck? What is this shit?" I asked out loud. No response came. Suddenly the darkness turned into a blinding white light. After a few minutes the light slowly faded away until I found myself standing in a forest. I looked around and did not see anyone around me. Then I looked down, and froze. What I saw was not the body I knew. My skin was now a dark shade of red, and I had no clothes on. I stood there looking at my new body. My hands were still hands, I still had five fingers per hand. I still had fingernails and no claws. I put my hands to my face to feel for any changes. It still felt like a normal face, except my ears were slightly pointed at the top. I pulled my hair in front of my face and saw shoulder length black hair instead of the short brown hair I had before. My body was thin, my ribs were slightly visible through my skin. I looked lower and saw my penis, it was about six inches long and about an inch thick. My arms and legs were thin with very little muscle tone. My feet still looked normal with five toes per foot.

"What is happening, what am I?" I asked. As if to answer my question I heard a ’Ding’ inside my head as the transparent blue screen appeared again.

[You have been reborn as a Primordial Red Goblin.]

"A what? What is that?" I asked.

[Red Goblins are an entirely new race of goblins. As the Primordial Red Goblin you are the progenitor of the race. It is your duty to propagate your new race.]

"The progenitor of a new race?" I asked

[Each race has a Primordial progenitor, an immortal who all others are descended from.]

"Wait, so I am immortal now?" I asked

[Primordials can live for eternity unless they are killed by another being. Primordials do not age or suffer illness.]

"Well that is kind of cool." I said

[Warning: All green goblins will view red goblins as their natural enemy. If green goblins see the uncovered skin of a red goblin they will attack with lethal intent.]

"Well shit, that is not good news." I mumbled

"Is there anything else I should know?" I asked

[Primordial Red Goblin: The progenitor of the red goblins will earn experience at a rate four times the normal rate.]

"That’s sounds cool." I said. If I can earn experience does that mean I can level up? Does this system have a way to check my stats? "System, status." I said. The blue screen changed to show my personal statistics screen.

Suddenly while checking my status I heard a noise and quickly hid behind a nearby tree. After waiting for a couple of minutes a goblin appeared with a wooden club in it’s hand and walked to a tree a few feet from me before leaning it’s club against the tree. It then squatted and began taking the foulest smelling shit I have ever smelled before. After looking around and not seeing anymore goblins I quietly began sneaking toward the goblin.

’Might as well start leveling up, right?’ I thought as I grabbed the club leaning against the tree. The moment I grabbed the club I attacked the goblin, swinging the club at the back of it’s head. The goblin was instantly knocked unconscious by the first hit, I hit it in the head three more times before I felt it’s skull cave in and heard it crack.

[You have killed Goblin(Level 1) 20xp Gained.]

I quickly hid behind the tree in case any nearby goblins heard the sound of me killing the now dead goblin. After hiding for a few minutes I didn’t hear any noises so I came out of hiding and decided to investigate the direction the goblin came from. I figured if this new life I have been given means these little green monsters are my natural enemy I might as well see if I can sneak up on them and kill them before they kill me. After traveling for a little while I heard some noises. I crept toward the sounds, sneaking through the under brush of the forest until I was several feet from a tree line where I could see a small clearing in the forest. In the clearing I could see a few goblins and on the other side of the clearing was a tunnel entrance dug into the side of a hill. I remained hidden in the bushes and observed the goblins for several minutes. After observing the goblins I noticed they were about as intelligent as a ten year old child back on earth and could actually speak just as well. I’m not sure if they are speaking English but since I can understand them that means they are either speaking English or the language of this world has been automatically downloaded into my mind by whatever power put this system inside my head. I also noticed some of the goblins had swords and knives.
