Primordial Red Goblin

I also Noticed some of the goblins had swords and knives, meaning I am no match for them with just the club I stole from the goblin I already killed. I saw a goblin close to the tree line that had a knife in his hand and got an idea. Maybe I could lure it away from the clearing so I could ambush it without the other goblins finding out. I picked up a few small rocks and snuck closer to where the goblin was standing. I threw a rock into some bushes just inside the tree line near the goblin. The goblin heard the rock hit the bush and walked toward it to investigate the noise. Once he got to the bush I threw another rock to lead him deeper into the forest. Once the goblin was about twenty yards from the tree line I decided to make my move. I waited until the goblin was facing away from me and ambushed him. I swung the club as hard as I could, hitting him in the back of the head. The first swing knocked him unconscious and he fell face forward onto the ground. I swung the club again, but when it hit his head the club broke. I reached down and grabbed the goblin’s knife and used it to cut his throat. After a couple of seconds of him bleeding out I received the kill notification.

I repeated the same process three more times, hiding the goblin’s bodies after each kill. After killing the fifth goblin I leveled up to level 2. I pulled up my status window to see the changes.

I spend one point each to Intelligence, Agility, and Strength and two points to Vitality and checked my stats again.

Also, the last goblin I killed had a short sword so now I have a sword and a knife. I snuck back to the tree line to see how many goblins remained. While watching I saw a pair of goblins walk into the woods and decided to follow them. I followed them until they were far enough from the cave and ambushed them. I stabbed the first goblin in the back with the sword and then in the neck with the knife before he could turn around. Then I turned and attacked the second goblin, killing it as fast as I could before it could scream and alert other goblins back at the cave. Then I turned and finished off the first goblin that was laying on the ground choking on his own blood from the neck wound.

I quickly hid the bodies and returned to the tree line to wait for another opportunity. I repeated the process every time I saw goblins enter the forest, killing goblin after goblin. After a couple of hours of quietly picking off the goblins I was only one goblin away from reaching level five, but I hadn’t seen any goblins leave the cave for at least the last half hour. I decided to check the system to see if I could learn anything new while waiting, but as soon as the thought entered my mind I saw another goblin come out of the cave with a large piece of meat in it’s hand and walked towards the tree line. It stopped just a few feet away from the edge of the clearing. It took a bite of the meat and looked around, turning it’s back to the trees as it chewed it’s food. I stepped out of the trees, grabbing it by the face with one hand and slitting it’s throat with the other before dragging it into the trees. I then grabbed the piece of meat and began eating it. Just as I took the first bite I got the kill notification.

Immediately followed by another notification.

[You have reached level 5 and unlocked the Primordial Red Goblin Breeding Physique. Would you like to initiate the upgrade?]

"Oh shit, an upgrade? What is a breeding physique?" I asked

[ The Primordial Red Goblin Breeding Physique will upgrade your body inside and out to enable you to sire as many offspring as possible regardless of the race of the female. Also, unlike the green goblins who can only sire male offspring the Primordial Red Goblin Breeding Physique will enable you and your offspring to have female children.]

"So, I can have children with women of any race?"

[Yes.]

[Would you like to initiate the Primordial Red Goblin Breeding Physique?]

"Yeah, sure."

Not even a second after answering the question I hit the ground, experiencing the most excruciating pain I could have ever imagined. I would have screamed if I was not in too much pain to even breathe. The pain was everywhere, from the top of my head to the tips of my fingers and toes. The pain was not just on the outside, it was on the inside as well. It felt as if my organs were being destroyed and rebuilt. After what felt like several minutes of extreme pain, completely unable to even breathe, it ended and I immediately sucked in a lung full of air.

[Primordial Red Goblin Breeding Physique activated. All attributes increased by five points.]

I lay on the ground catching my breath and checked my stats. I spent the five attribute points I got from hitting level five which put all four of my attributes at twenty-four. After catching my breath I stood up and noticed some physical changes in my appearance. Before, I was about five foot six inches tall like the green goblins. Now I’m a solid six feet tall.
