After breakfast the sisters took the children to school and came back to do their daily chores. Shortly after the sisters returned Sarah and the others returned from their shopping trip. Sarah, Lucy, Amber, Lyra, Lilly, Lisa, Erin, and even Ginger were all wearing new dresses that hugged the body and hung loosely past the hips. They were sleeveless and showed no cleavage whatsoever. Each dress had a floral pattern and each dress was a different color. They even had matching three inch heels.
"You girls look amazing." I smiled.
"Sarah wanted to get some dresses that showed off our breasts but we convinced her it wasn’t a good idea for meeting the High Priestess." Lucy said.
"These heels are hard to walk in, but they are too cute to take off." Amber said.
"Well you look great little fox." I said.
"Thank you husband." She smiled.
"Should we leave now?" I asked.
"When you’re ready." Sarah said.
We left the orphanage and began walking toward the arena. I saw several carriages lined up along one of the streets.
"Are you for hire?" I asked a driver.
"Yes sir, would you like a ride?" He asked.
"How much for the day?" I asked.
"The day? I normally charge five bronze per mile." He answered.
"Well how much do you usually earn in a day?" I asked.
"About two or three silver." He said.
"I’ll give you ten silver to rent your services for the entire day." I said.
"Deal." He said without hesitation.
I helped the girls into the carriage before climbing up.
"Where to sir?" He asked.
"I have a meeting at the arena. Then I have a meeting at the Goddess’s temple." I said.
"Yes sir." He said as the carriage began moving.
The girls talked and enjoyed the view as we rode through the city. After thirty minutes we arrived at the arena.
"I can sense his aura. Cornelius is here." I said to the girls.
I stepped down from the carriage before helping the girls down. Then I led everyone into the arena. I walked up to the reception and told them I have a meeting and showed her the envelope and the seal. She stood from her desk and led us through the building to an office. The girls followed me in single file with Sarah directly behind me and Ginger in the back. After a few turns in the hallway we came to a door. The receptionist knocked on the door and we heard a voice answer.
"Enter." Cornelius said.
I opened the door and entered with the girls behind me. I saw Cornelius sitting in a chair across from two long sofas. I sat directly across from Cornelius and the girls sat around me. Ginger entered last and closed the door behind her. Cornelius waited until everyone sat down before speaking.
"I have informed the Prime of our last conversation. My father has discussed it with the others and he has appointed me as his liaison. The others will be appointing their’s soon enough." He said.
"Liaison? For what?" I asked.
"For diplomatic relations with your race. My parents hope to become your allies in the future. They have appointed me to help you establish your race." He said.
"Does that have something to do with the High Priestess asking for a meeting too?" I asked.
"That would be the Genesis family, the High Priestess is the daughter of the Primordial Elves." He said.
"Okay, so what exactly are we discussing today? I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean by diplomatic relations." I said.
"You said you are the progenitor of a new race that is a natural enemy to an already established race. The others have agreed not to tell Skree of your existence for your protection." He said.
"Skree?" I asked confused.
"Skree is the goblin Primordial. If he learns the universe gave him a natural enemy he would certainly extinguish your race before it became a threat to his. He is a hostile existence." Cornelius explained.
"I appreciate that. So what does your duty as liaison involve?" I asked.
"We have looked into the actions you have taken since entering this city. We assume you are sponsoring the orphanage and the one in Sapphire City to take advantage of the incentive involving the sisters." He said as he looked at Lilly, Lisa, and Erin.
"Honestly I didn’t know about the incentive until after I agreed to sponsor the first one. And I didn’t take advantage of it until every sister agreed to it first." I said.
"We know. We spoke to the Priestesses of both cities and they told us that you refused to collar the sisters without their consent. That alone was enough for the Genesis to be on your side." He said.
"Why would your families help me? I haven’t told you my race. What if my race is a race of monsters?" I asked.
"The fact that your race is the enemy of Skree is enough for the Prime and several others to be on your side. Most Primordials have a bad history with Skree." He said.
"I see. What others have taken my side?" I asked.
"The Wolf-kin, the Dog-kin, the Fox-kin, the Gnomes, and the Elves. The others so far are undecided." He said.
"Gnomes?" I asked.
"Yes. A few millenia ago Skree decided to take several of the Gnome Primordial’s daughters into his personal harem. He didn’t ask for permission, he broke the law of the Prime." Cornelius said.
"Was he punished by the Prime?" I asked.
"Skree is more powerful than the Gnomes. When they asked for assistance from the others there was a great battle that resulted in the goblins being eliminated from the entire continent. That was his punishment, it resulted in the death of several of his sons. He has spent the time since repopulating that continent." Cornelius said.
"Why didn’t they kill Skree?" I asked.
"The Goddess has prohibited the Primordials from killing each other." He said.
