Primordial Red Goblin

"Are you sure?" These are expensive." Annie asked.

"What did I say yesterday? All of you are my children now. If I can give you even the slightest advantage for when you go out on your own I will. I have a storage ring on each hand, all of my wives have two rings. All of the sisters in both of my orphanages have one too. And now both of you have one." I said.

Annie smiled and hugged me.

"Thank you." She said.

"Hey Mr. Red, can I ask a question? Why are you always wearing armor? Why don’t you ever show us your face?" Ron asked.

Bubbles and Laura both looked up.

"There is a very good reason for that. Very few people know what I actually look like. If my appearance became public knowledge a lot of people might come after me and my family." I answered.

"What do you mean? Are you a wanted criminal?" Ron asked.

"Don’t be rude." Bubbles said.

"No, I’m not a wanted criminal." I laughed.

"Then what is it?" Annie asked.

"It’s more complicated than that. And if you ever see my face you will need to keep it a secret." I said.

"You’re not going to tell us are you?" Ron asked.

"Eventually, but not right now. Right now it’s time to get your new classes." I said.

"Okay." They said.

We left the house and I saw a taxi carriage on the side of the road.

"How much to take us to the goblin farm?" I asked.

"Twenty bronze." He said.

"Deal." I said as I helped the kids into the carriage.

We rode to the farm and I paid the driver before we walked to the main building of the farm.

"There he is, welcome back." Said the employee.

"Is there a place for them to put their gear on?" I asked.

"Yes, changing rooms are by the cages." He answered.

I paid one gold twenty-four for each of the kids and we went to the changing rooms I waited by the cages until they finished changing. Ron came out wearing his full steel with a shield in one hand and his sword in the other. Annie came out wearing her leather armor and bow in one hand.

"So this is how it will work. Each of you will get one hundred twenty-four goblins to kill so we will be here for awhile. Take your time and remember your training. The goblins will be brought out one at a time and chained to one side of the cage and you will go in and kill it." I explained.

"Yes sir." They said.

Two employees came out with one goblin each and led them with a pole connected to collars on their necks. One was taken to a cage for Ron and chained up. The other was brought over to the cage where Annie was waiting. Once the goblin saw Annie it’s behavior changed and it began trying to get to Annie.

"Why is it acting like that?" She asked me.

"Because you’re a woman. When a goblin fights a man it fights to kill. When they see women they go into a breeding frenzy." I said pointing at it’s midsection.

Annie looked down and saw the goblin’s erect penis.

"This is your first lesson. As a woman you should never go on a goblin mission alone. If they attack you they will not fight to kill you, they will fight to breed you. The two fighting styles are completely different from each other. One goblin by itself is easy to kill, twenty or thirty working together will surround you before throwing you onto the ground and ripping your clothes off. If they capture you alive they will rape you on the spot. Then they will take you to their den and share you with their entire clan. You will spend the rest of your life being raped and giving birth to their offspring." I explained.

"That’s terrifying." She said.

"That is why so many female adventurers dissappear in the western forest. Once you become an adventurer make sure you join a team that has at least two melee fighters for each ranged fighter. And don’t leave your back exposed because they will surround your team the moment they smell a female. Make sure you keep a melee fighter behind you at all times." I said.

"Okay, I’ll remember that rule." She said.

"Also get good at climbing trees, if you are attacked and get in a bad situation climb up as high as you can and shoot them from above while they try to climb up after you." I said.

"Miss Amber said something about that. She told some of the girls that are training with bows to practice jumping from one tree to the next." She said.

"That’s right. When we are in the forest I send Amber into the trees to cover us from above. She has gotten pretty good at moving in the treetops." I said.

The employees finished chaining up the first goblins and signaled for the kids to begin. Annie stood on the opposite end of her cage and drew an arrow from her ring. Ron wasted no time before stabbing his goblin square in the chest. Annie shot her first arrow just as Ron pulled his sword out of his goblin. Annie’s arrow hit the goblin in the chest with a ’Thunk’ and pierced it’s heart. Both goblins died instantly.

"I did it, I killed my first goblin. I unlocked the archer class." Annie shouted as she jumped up and down.

"YEAH!" Ron shouted holding his sword and shield in the air above his head.

The employees drug the dead goblins away as two more employees brought out the next ones. They continued killing goblins for the next two hours. After reaching level two they started cheering. After killing one hundred goblins they began getting tired and sore. By the time they finished they were both level five.
