I kissed Abby on the forehead and stood up from the bed and walked over to my bed and undressed before laying down.
The girls began getting ready for bed and settling down for the night.
"You forgot to get me a bed again." Ginger said.
"Oh no, you can sleep in mine if you want." I grinned.
She stood at the front of my bed glaring at me while wearing nothing but her transparent nightgown.
"You didn’t forget did you?" She asked.
I held my hands out and gestured for her to come here and she walked around the bed. I grabbed her hand and pulled her against my right side. I put her head on my chest and began scratching her behind her little fox ears as her tail began slowly patting the bed behind her.
"Come here amber, let me hold both of my little foxes." I said holding out my other arm.
Amber happily jumped onto the bed and curled up against my left side and nuzzled against my neck. Sarah, Lucy, Lyra, Lisa, and Erin climbed onto the bed and curled around me and the foxes. Lyra pressed her large breasts firmly against Ginger’s back and wrapped her arm over her.
"Really?" Gimger asked.
Lyra chuckled as she threw her leg over Ginger.
"Welcome to the family." Lyra said into her ear.
The next morning I woke up with Ginger still curled up and sleeping against my right side. Lisa was sleeping on my chest and Erin was curled up against my left side. Everyone else had gotten up and went downstairs already. I woke them up and Ginger watched as I spent some quality time with Lisa and Erin before we got dressed and went downstairs. Once downstairs Sarah led me to the dining room where she had my breakfast waiting for me. After eating I went back to the attic and opened the safe. I put Annie’s gear in one of the empty rings and Ron’s gear in another. Then I grabbed several of the other rings and seven thousand gold coins and put them in my ring, leaving three hundred gold in the safe." I then went to the kitchen and entered the hidden stairway.
"Rollo. I need to go shopping for supplies to build a village in the forest for my family to hide in. I need you to go with me to help me choose building materials." I said.
"Sure thing boss." He said.
He told his men he would be back and he followed me up the stairs. I left the house with Ginger, Lisa, Erin, and Rollo. We hit the construction district and spent several hours buying stone blocks, lumber, nails tools, and anything else Rollo said I would need. I spent ninety-seven gold, eighty-one silver, and forty-six bronze and filled fourteen storage rings to capacity with supplies.
"Thanks for the help Rollo, you may choose your reward. Would you like to go to a restaurant for a plate of hot foot and a mug of cold ale or would you rather have the rest of the day off?" I asked.
"I think I’ll save the reward for when the rest of the men can join me boss." He replied.
"Hmm, you’re a good man Rollo. I’ll tell you what. I’ll give all of you the day off and I’ll even buy a couple kegs for all of you." I said.
His eyes lit up.
"That would be great for morale boss." He laughed.
We went to a brewery and bought three full kegs of beer and went back to the house. I took Rollo down the stairs to their room and took the kegs out of my ring.
"Gather ’round men, the boss has an announcement." Rollo ordered.
The other nineteen dwarves circled around me while eyeing the kegs.
"All lf you have done fantastic work on this project. These three kegs are for all of you. You all have earned the rest of the day off and once you start drinking you are to stay in the tunnel, we don’t need twenty drunken dwarves running around the orphanage teaching the children new drinking songs." I said.
The dwarves all began laughing and cheering. I left the dwarves to their little party and went back upstairs. I put the fourteen rings filled with supplies in the safe and put the remaining gold coins back. Then I went downstairs to wait for the children to return from school. I sat on the sofa in the sitting room and watch Laura and Bubbles play with the two younger children.
"Looks like you are adjusting to this place pretty well." I said to Laura.
"I am. I like it here. My last owner used me to earn coin in the arena. I fought nearly everyday for other people’s entertainment. I was only sold when the old man that owned me died and his family sold off his property and split it among each other." She said.
"Well that part of your life is over. The only time you have to fight is to defend our family." I said.
She smiled at me.
"Thank you, for everything." She said.
"How would you to begin your turn tomorrow?" I asked.
"I would like that." She blushed.
"Good." I said.
I continued to sit and talk to Laura and Bubbles until the children came home. Annie and Ron immediately ran to their rooms and threw their stuff onto their beds and ran back downstairs and met me in the sitting room.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Yes sir." They said.
I stood up and held out a storage ring in each hand.
"These are for you. I have already put your gear in them. Do not take them to school. When you turn eighteen you can keep them and take them with you." I said.
They both gasped and took the rings.
"My very own storage ring." Ron said.
"Are you sure? These are expensive." Annie asked.
