"What kind of man wouldn’t want his children to have the best start they can possibly have before starting their lives?" I asked.

Annie and Ron both stared at me in silence until we arrived at the armoror. We got out of the carriage and went inside.

"How can I help you?" Asked the man at the counter.

"This young man needs a full set of steel armor, an arming sword, and a shield. This young lady needs archery equipment." I said.

"I have the armor but the archery shop is two doors down." He said.

"I’ll take her." Amber said as she led Annie out the door.

The shopkeeper helped Ron find a suitable of armor that fit him. After trying it on he put it on the counter and looked through the swords. He found a nice Arming sword with a fist shaped pommel and a reinforced steel round shield and placed it on the counter.

"You don’t want a long knife or a dagger for a backup?" I asked.

"Really? It’s not too much? He asked.

"No, find one you like." I said.

He returned to the rack and picked out a seven inch dagger and placed it on the counter.

"All of this will be one gold ninety." He said.

I paid the coin and stored everything in my ring. Ron and I then left the shop and met Amber in the archery shop.

"She’s trying on a set of hard leather right now. She didn’t like the first set she tried on." Amber said.

"Well we don’t want her stuck with a set she doesn’t like." I said as I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I can’t wait until tomorrow. I’m really going to unlock a combat class." Ron said.

After ten minutes of waiting Annie came out wearing a hard leather breastplate and hard leather breastplate, bracers, cuisse and greatest. She had a leather shooting glove as well. The entire set was an earthy brown color. She stood in front of a mirror and inspected herself from multiple angles. Then she looked up at Amber.

"How does it look miss Amber?" She asked.

"I think it looks like a perfect fit. But rhe important question is how does it feel?" Amber asked.

"It feels great." She said as she moved into different positions to check the fit.

"So is that the one you want?" I asked.

"Yes, I will take this one." She said.

"Great, pick a bow and we’ll get you some arrows." I said.

She walked over to the bows and checked several of them before she chose a recurve bow. She put it on the counter and went to change out of her new archer gear. I grabbed two sheaves of arrows with broadheads and a sheaf of arrows with hunting tips. She returned with the gear and placed it on the counter. I paid one gold fourty for everything and stored it in my ring. We then got back in the carriage and returned to the orphanage. I paid the driver ten silver and he drove off as we went inside. Annie and Ron ran off to their rooms as I went to the attic.

In the attic Abby was laying in her bed reading a book. I removed my armor and lay next to her and pulled her to me wrapping my right arm under her.

"How was your day?" I asked.

She closed her book and looked up at me.

"It was good. I heard you are taking Annie and Ron to unlock their classes tomorrow." She answered.

"I am. They’ve been training for awhile now and the goblins they will be killing will be chained to a cage. I wouldn’t let them do it if I didn’t think they were ready." I said.

"I know you wouldn’t." She said as she lut her face against my neck.

I lifted her chin and kissed her. We kissed for five minutes before Ginger, Lilly, and Sandy entered the attic.

"Abby, did you hear they met the High Priestess in person?" Sandy asked.

"Mmhmm." Abby hummed into my mouth.

"Mr. Red, can I see the medallion she gave you? Please?" Sandy asked.

Without breaking the kiss I summoned the medallion from my ring and held it up. Sandy gently took it with both hands with the reverence of a holy relic.

"Whoa." She whispered as she held it up.

Just the Elara and Ylva entered the room. Elara immediately saw the medallion and joined Sandy in examining the medallion.

"It’s the tree of life." Elara whispered.

One by one the rest of the sisters came into the room. Eventually I broke the kiss with Abby and she put her face back into my neck with a smile.

"So does this mean our plans are changing?" Sarah asked.

"Maybe a little. I still plan on moving to the forest but I want to take everyone with me." I said.

"What do you mean take everyone with you?" Asked Sylvie.

Lilly sat on her bed and explained the events of the day to everyone starting with the meeting with Cornelius and finishing with everything I said to Elyndra.

"You want to build a new orphanage in the middle of the forest so everyone can go with you? All of the sisters and the children?" Abby asked looking up at me.

"Yes. Elyndra said it might be possible to take all of you with me but I have to continue as the sponsor for the two orphanages I already have." I said.

"He looked the High Priestess in the eye and called all of the children his. And she repeated the words with a smile on her face." Lilly said.

"Did you see her reaction when she put her hand on Amber’s belly?" Lisa asked.

"Yeah, it was like she had personally witnessed a divine miracle." Erin said.

I kissed Abby on the forehead and stood up from the bed and walked over to my bed and undressed before laying down.
