Primordial Red Goblin

Chapter 59: A New Sponsor

I took the paper from her and read through it. It was an itemized list of the annual operating cost of running the orphanage if it were at capacity.

{Emerald City Orphanage

Capacity- 40 children

Expenses required

Three bronze per day per child for food. Thirteen months each with twenty-eight days. One thousand ninety-two bronze.

Clothing allowance

Fifty silver per year per child.

Two thousand silver.

Orphanage maintenance

One gold per year.

Total; twenty-five gold, thirty-six silver, eighty bronze.}

After reading the list I looked up at the sisters.

"This doesn’t include anything for the five of you." I said.

"The sponsorship contract is focused on the children not the sisters. Our expenses are expected to come out of the orphanage’s maintenance fund." Sister Lilly explained.

I handed the list to Sarah and she read through it before passing it to the others.

"Understand this. If I agree to this I will oversee the orphanage’s affairs but Sarah is the head wife, the five of you will answer to her." I said.

The sisters all looked at Sarah and she gave them a little wave and a sly grin.

"Don’t worry. She won’t harm you. She just has her own set of rules for the women who belong to me." I said.

"As you wish." Sister Lilly nodded.

"Let’s do this." I said.

Sister Lilly led the way and the other sisters followed her. My girls and I followed the sisters to the Goddess’ temple where we were greeted by the priestess.

"Welcome back mister Red. Have you found more women to marry?" She chuckled.

She looked at the sisters and smiled.

"Oh I’m sorry. These are sisters of the church, you cannot marry them. They have sworn their lives to the church." The priestess said.

"I’m here to sponsor the orphanage." I said.

The priestess snapped her head to look up at me with her jaw slack.

"What? Are you sure? Of all the orphanages in the kingdom only two of them currently have sponsors. Are you aware of the required funds?" She asked.

"Only two? Sister Lilly showed me the list of coin required to sponsor the orphanage. If that’s all I need then yes I am sure." I said.

Sarah handed the list to the priestess and she read through and inspected it.

"Yes, that is all of it." She mumbled.

"And do you have this available right now for inspection?" Asked the priestess.

I walked over to the table and summoned twenty-six gold coins from my ring onto the table. The priestess quickly counted it.

"Goddess. It’s all here." She whispered before running to her office.

She returned with the contract and slammed it on the table rattling the pile of coins.

"Sign here please." She said excitedly.

I read through the contract and it was exactly as sister Lilly explained it. The sisters assigned to the orphanage would be collared and placed under my command. The only restrictions being I cannot kill, fire, or sell the sisters. It also said if I increase the capacity of the orphanage the church will assign additional sisters to the orphanage who will be collared and placed under my command. The church has a one sister per ten children plus one sister policy. They will assign one additional sister for every ten beds added to the orphanage. I looked back at the sisters.

"Are you sure you’re okay with being collared and placed under my command?" I asked them.

All fived of them nodded.

"Yes sir." They said.

I turned and signed the contract. The priestess slammed her seal onto the contract.

"Can’t back out now." She joked.

I shook my head.

"Now what?" I asked.

"I need your blood for the collars." She said.

I pulled a vial of my blood out of my ring and handed it to her. She grabbed it and retrieved five collars from her office. They were ornate white cloth collars with the symbol of the Goddess embossed on them. It looked like a golden infinity sign. I put the gold coins back in my ring as the priestess put the collars on the sisters and added the blood. The collars glowed and the magic was sealed.

"The church will have a new sign for the orphanage delivered within the next few days that names you as the Orphanage’s legal sponsor." The priestess explained.

We turned and returned to the orphanage. I led everyone to the attic where the sisters slept.

"Now that is done this is how this will work. First, all of you are prohibited from telling anyone what I am." I said.

All five of the collars glowed as they accepted the order. I then removed my helmet in the privacy of the sisters’ sleeping quarters. All five sisters stared at my face wide eyed.

"What are you?" Sister Lilly asked.

"That’s not important right now." I said.

I looked at Sarah for a second before turning back to the sisters.

"This is the chain of command. After me is Sarah, then Lucy, then Amber, then Lyra. Sarah is the head wife and you will follow any order she gives as long as it doesn’t contradict any order I give." I said.

All five collars lit up in acknowledgement. Sarah stepped forward with a grin and the others began giggling.

"My first order is this. None of you are allowed to wear any clothing or jewelry my husband didn’t buy for you." Sarah said.

The collars glowed and the women began undressing as the collars were forcing them to follow the order.

Five dresses hit the floor around their ankles as all five women began to blush.

"What is happening?" I asked.

"You only bought their dresses and shoes. It appears when you told them to bring you all their old rags they didn’t bring you their old bras and underwear." Sarah said with an ear to ear grin.

"Is this absolutely necessary?" Sister Lilly asked as the collar forced her to remove her bra.

"Yes, it is." Sarah answered.
