Primordial Red Goblin

Chapter 71: Nothing But Dirt

Sarah continued to laugh out loud.

Just then the man returned with a dwarf dressed in a slave gown. The dwarf stepped into the room and the man stepped out and closed the door. He was four feet tall and as thick as a barrel with a beard that reached his waist.

"I need someone capable of digging a hidden passage below a house. Can you do that?" I asked.

"Aye. I can do that." He said.

"How many dwarves would I need for a job like that?" I asked.

"Depends on the size of the passage you need and how soon you need it done." He said.

"I have just over seven months and I need an underground space large enough to build a hidden village." I said.

The dwarf looked at me as he thought about it for several minutes.

"I would say you need at least ten dwarves for such an undertaking. Twenty would be better." He said.

"If I put you in charge of the dwarves would you be okay with that?" I asked.

"Aye. I can do that." He said.

"What’s your name? I asked.

"Rollo." He replied.

"Well Rollo, how do you motivate a team of dwarves to work harder and faster?" I asked.

"Good food and better ale." He replied.

"Alright then. If your team can finish the project before my first wife here gives birth in just over seven months I will provide a grand feast for the entire team." I said.

Rollo’s eyes lit up.

"Aye sir." He said.

I opened the door to the room.

"How much for this dwarf? I asked.

"Ten gold sir." The man replied.

"Deal. Take me to your collar room." I said.

The man led us to the collar room and I instructed the dwarf to choose a collar that cost no more than fifty silver. The dwarf looked around and found a collar made of polished steel. I handed the collar to the man along with ten gold fifty and a vial of my blood. After the collar was sealed we went to another slave house where I bought four more dwarves for ten gold each and I spent two gold getting them polished steel collars.

"This should be enough to get started." I said as we walked out of the slave house.

I led everyone to a shop to get clothes for the dwarves.

"Pick three outfits for each of you and a pair of work boots each." I told the dwarves.

They walked off and searched the shop for clothes. Sarah went and got two pair of panties for Lilly.

"Here, but you can only wear it during your turn with Erik to keep his seed from running down your leg and you still cannot wear it to bed." Sarah whispered so nobody could hear her.

Lilly’s collar glowed in acknowledgement.

"Thank you miss Sarah." Lilly said.

Sarah paid for the panties and Lilly ran to the changing room to put them on.

"That was kind of you." I said.

"Well as your first wife I fully understand what she is going through." Sarah laughed.

Lilly returned from the changing room and stood next to me. Sarah put her ’Serious head wife’ face back on and looked at Lilly.

"Those are the only two pair I’m getting you so take care of them." Sarah said before looking at me and grinning.

"Yes miss Sarah." Lilly said.

The dwarves returned with their chosen clothes and I paid six silver thirty-five for their clothes. Then they went into the changing room to change out of their slave gowns. After they returned I took their remaining clothes and put it in my ring. Then I led them to a shop to get tools and supplies. I paid seventy-five silver for everything there. Then we returned to the orphanage and I instructed the dwarves to find a suitable place in the house to begin. They chose an open spot in the corner of the kitchen where the children wouldn’t get in the way. We then gave them access to two of the empty rooms on the boy’s floor of the house to sleep in. I ordered them not to go up the stairs past the boy’s floor. I gave their clothes to them and after they put their clothes in their rooms they went to the kitchen and began digging into the floor. I then grabbed Lilly by the hand and led her back to the attic. After spending an hour in bed with Lilly we got dressed and went back downstairs for lunch. The dwarves stopped work as the sisters fed them lunch. They were excited to eat something other than slave sludge. After eating they got back to work.

I went to the backyard and looked around.

"There is nothing out here for the kids except dirt." I said to Lilly.

"What to do suggest mister Red?" She asked.

"Well first of all after what we did this morning call me Erik. Second we need something out here for the kids." I said.

Lilly blushed at the mention of this morning.

"Well Erik, there is a shop that sells playground equipment." She said.

"Let’s go check it out." I said as I walked back through the house.

"We are going to look at playground equipment. Anyone wanna go?" I asked everyone.

Sarah, Amber, Nyx, Sandy and Elara went with us. As we walked the sisters surrounded Lilly and whispered to each other as we walked. As they continued to bombard Lilly with questions she blushed more and more with each question. After half an hour of walking we arrived at the shop.

"Welcome." Said the employee.

"We are from the orphanage. We need playground equipment for the backyard." I said.

"Great. We have plenty for children of all ages. How much space do you have?" He asked.

"I was thinking more along the lines of you coming to look at the yard and I give you some coin and let you do your thing." I said.
