Primordial Red Goblin

Chapter 84: Lilly’s Announcement

"Of course." I smiled.

"Lilly giggled as I wrapped my arms around her waist and she leaned into my shoulder."

"The priestess doesn’t know you are pregnant doesn’t she?" I asked.

"No, I haven’t spoken to her. Why?" Lilly asked.

"I need you to gather the sisters for me." I said.

She went and gathered the sisters of the house and stood in front of me.

"None of you are allowed to tell anyone you are pregnant or when you give birth. I need the existence of my race to remain a secret for as long as possible." I said.

Their collars glowed in acknowledgement.

"What about the children? They will know when our bellies swell to hold your babies." Lisa said.

"We will have to see if the children will help keep the secret." I said.

I went to the kitchen and lifted the trap door and checked on the dwarves progress.

"How deep do you need to make this stairway before you begin the main chamber?" I asked.

"Several hundred feet. But we can have smaller chambers spead out before then." He said.

"Okay, just let the sisters know whenever you need more supplies." I said.

"We could use a few more men down here now." Rollo said.

"Okay, I’ll visit the slave market then." I said.

I closed the door and checked the work in the attic. There I found Mary talking to Sandy.

"This place looks amazing. I can’t wait until our house is finished." Mary said when I walked in.

"Did you see the backyard?" I asked.

"No why? What’s back there?" She asked.

"Go look." I said.

Mary ran out the door of the attic and down the stairs.

"Hello Sandy, how are you doing?" I asked.

"I’m good. So I heard you sponsored the orphanage in Sapphire City." She said.

"Yes I did." I said.

Sandy walked over and kissed my cheek.

"The children of both houses are lucky to have you as their sponsor." She said.

I wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her lips.

"What about the sisters of both houses? Are they happy to have me?" I asked.

Sandy blushed from the kiss.

"I can only speak for myself, but I am happy." She said.

I kissed her again and smiled.

"That makes me happy." I said.

Just then I heard Mary running back up the stairs and turned toward the door as she ran into the room.

"You gave them a playground!" She shouted.

"Yes I did. And once your house is finished I will put one in your backyard too." I said.

Mary ran to me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"You’re amazing." She said.

I wrapped my other arm around her waist and held her next to Sandy.

"Not as amazing as the women who stood on street corners asking complete strangers for donations to feed orphan children." I said.

Both women looked up at me smiling.

"Do you really mean that?" Sandy asked.

"Of course I do. It takes a special woman to pledge her life to taking care of orphans." I said.

Sandy put her face in my chest and nuzzled me. I kissed the top of her head. I held both women for five minutes before Mary looked back up at me.

"Oh yeah, what’s this I hear about you having dwarf slaves building a secret passage under the kitchen?" Mary asked.

"As I said before I want to keep the existence of my race a secret for as long as possible. All of my wives are pregnant and each one is carrying four of my children. Lilly is pregnant as well. I need a place for my women to give birth in secret and for them to live and grow strong before the world finds out about us. I plan to build a place beneath your house too. I also plan to have the dwarves connect both houses underground." I said.

"That sounds like it would take a long time." Mary said.

"It will. But Lucy said their pregnancies are progressing at the same rate as a normal human pregnancy instead of at the rate of a green goblin pregnancy so we still have seven months before the first of my children arrive." I said.

Just then Lilly ran into the room.

"I just had miss Lucy check my baby. She said there’s four of them!" She announced.

"That’s fantastic news." I said letting go of Mary and Sandy and hugging Lilly.

"She also said they’re girls like Amber’s babies." Lilly said.

"That’s excellent news I said.

"Wait what? Girls? Why did you just compare yourself to green goblins? You still haven’t told me what you are." Mary said.

"Right. I am a red goblin. The only red goblin in the world." I said.

Mary gasped and covered her mouth with her hands.

"Since when did red goblins exist?" Mary said.

"Since I woke up in the forest and had to survive on my own until I met Sarah." I said.

"So you are a goblin? But don’t you and your wives hunt goblins?" She asked.

"I am a red goblin. A different race altogether. Red goblins and green goblins are natural enemies. If a green goblin sees any uncovered part of my red skin they will go into a frenzy and attack me to kill me. I hunt them to diminish their numbers so my future children will have a better chance of survival." I explained.

"Why don’t you act like the green ones?" She asked.

"Because I am not like them. For starters I am far more intelligent than they are. The smartest green goblins I have seen were about as intelligent as a ten year old human child. They are also forced to kidnap women of other races in order to rape them to increase their numbers. My race is able to have daughters so my race eventually will be able to sustain itself. But since I am the only one I require women from other races." I said.
