Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher didn’t say anything else along the way. One focused on driving, while the other stared straight ahead at the car, deep in thought. It was unclear what he was thinking about.

The place they were eating was not far from their hotel, and in just over ten minutes, the car was parked at the hotel entrance.

"Hey! Get out of the car!"

They had stopped for quite a while, but Thomas Fisher hadn’t reacted yet and still stared blankly at the car window. Alice Turner reached over and pushed him.

Suddenly feeling someone push him, Thomas Fisher snapped back to reality. It was at this moment he realized they had arrived at the hotel. He glanced at Alice Turner, who had pushed him, and got out of the car.

Alice Turner also got out from the other side, and Thomas Fisher came over and took her hand, walking hand in hand into the hotel.

The two who walked into the hotel didn’t notice Benjamin Shaw standing behind a pillar at the entrance. As soon as they entered, he stepped out from behind the pillar.

Standing at the entrance, Benjamin Shaw watched the couple holding hands until their figures disappeared from his view, only then did he slowly withdraw his gaze.

Alice! Do I really have no chance?

Benjamin Shaw looked up at the room where Alice Turner stayed, his face full of sorrow.

"Ex-husband!"

A familiar and annoying voice suddenly came from behind, causing Benjamin Shaw to frown and retract his gaze from the upper floor, turning to look at the person calling him.

The moment he turned around, the sadness on his face had disappeared without a trace, leaving only coldness.

"Hello!" Although he didn’t like the person opposite, he still politely greeted them.

"Are you here to see Alice Turner? She’s not in her room." Anthony didn’t believe this man had come to discuss cooperation with him. He had seen the man gazing up at Alice Turner’s room not long ago.

He wanted to tell the man that Alice Turner went out with Thomas Fisher, but hesitated to say it.

Benjamin Shaw paused and said, "Where has she gone? Why didn’t you go out with her?"

Isn’t this man her husband? Why does he look like he doesn’t care? How could this man’s heart be so big? Bigger than it was five years ago.

"Alice Turner said she had something to do, she..."

"Alice Turner?! You call Alice Turner your sister?"

Benjamin Shaw hadn’t noticed Anthony calling Alice Turner "sister" earlier. Now he finally did, looking at Anthony in surprise, hoping for a reasonable explanation.

Suddenly interrupted, Anthony realized he’d misspoken, and awkwardly laughed twice, "Haha! My wife is older than me, so I usually call her sister. It’s just a habit now."

Calling his wife sister, he really admired his own imagination.

"Really?"

Benjamin Shaw didn’t believe Anthony’s explanation at all, let alone the glimmer of guilt he saw in Anthony’s eyes.

Anthony nodded like a puppet, "Really, it is."

As he said this, he didn’t dare to meet Benjamin Shaw’s eyes due to his guilt.

"I just saw your Alice Turner going in with Mr. Fisher." When Benjamin Shaw said "your Alice Turner," he intentionally stressed it a little, wanting Anthony to pay special attention.

He’s not a fool, not a fool that can be easily tricked by anyone.

Anthony understood Benjamin Shaw’s sarcastic tone, but pretended to be clueless, "So why doesn’t the ex-husband go in and sit with them?"
