Originally intended to outmaneuver the opponent, but what Benjamin Shaw never expected was that he himself was outmaneuvered by the other party.

He really underestimated this kid; looking at this kid’s young age, who would’ve thought he was so crafty.

"I still have things to attend to, no time to sit around." Benjamin Shaw would never admit that he secretly saw it, yet he didn’t realize that he had already let it slip; what he just said made it easy for people to think of this.

Anthony stared at Benjamin Shaw for a while, some words were on the tip of his tongue but he couldn’t bring himself to say them. He inexplicably didn’t want to see this man sad and upset, "Since the ex-husband has things to do, I won’t keep the guest any longer, goodbye!"

With that, he waved at the other party, then strode into the hotel.

Rotten kid! You will soon become the ex-husband too... no! The ex-husband’s brother.

Benjamin Shaw glanced at Anthony who walked inside, turned around and headed towards his own car parked by the roadside. This time, without any hesitation, he got into the car and drove away.

Anthony, who had just walked into the hotel, instinctively turned to look outside the hotel door, but the man who was just standing there was now nowhere to be seen, and his eyes suddenly dimmed.

Retracting his gaze, he turned and headed for the elevator.

After Anthony went upstairs, he didn’t return to his own room but went straight to Alice Turner’s room. Without any hesitation, he raised his hand and pressed the doorbell.

Ding dong! Ding dong! Ding dong!

The sudden doorbell interrupted the two people who were kissing inside.

"Someone’s at the door."

Alice Turner nudged Thomas Fisher, who was still holding tightly onto her, reminding him that someone was outside and he needed to let her go.

Having a good moment suddenly disrupted made Thomas Fisher really upset. He tilted his head to glance at the door, "Ignore him, let him stand there ringing the bell."

No need to think; it’s obvious who’s at the door. No one else but that clingy kid.

"Stop messing around, Jacob might need something from me." Alice Turner pushed away the head leaning towards her, then removed the arm hugging her. She got up and walked to the door to open it.

Thomas Fisher gazed at the woman going to open the door with a look of resentment, like a neglected little wife, with a deep sense of grievance.

"Sis! You really came back? I thought the ex-husband was lying to me." As soon as the door opened, Anthony’s words floated towards Alice Turner.

Benjamin Shaw?! They didn’t see Benjamin Shaw just now.

Alice Turner frowned in confusion: "Did you just meet Benjamin Shaw?"

They didn’t see him; could it be that he just went to see Anthony? And when he went, he happened to see the two of them going in.

"Yeah! I just saw the ex-husband at the hotel entrance, he was standing there staring at your room." Anthony bypassed Alice Turner standing at the door, stepped into the room in one stride, and upon entering, he immediately saw Thomas Fisher sitting on the sofa, "Mr. Fisher is here too, I hope I’m not interrupting you both?"

He said it like that, but had no awareness of needing to leave. He walked briskly towards Thomas Fisher.

"You are interrupting us, may I ask you to leave?" This fellow obviously came here to intrude on purpose, yet pretended like a fool. Thomas Fisher wished he could get up and directly throw Anthony out, but he endured this anger, knowing that doing so would upset Alice Turner, so he temporarily held back and avoided making a fuss with this guy.
