From all directions countless ferocious tigers and beasts were surging over, maws gaping and roaring nonstop as they galloped toward them at full speed, trampling down every tree and blade of grass they passed. The deafening tiger roars were getting closer and closer. Xuexue jumped in fright—what the hell—and was just about to hide into the space when she heard Little Tiger say, "Master, don’t be afraid, I’m the one who called them here."

With that, he let out a wild beast–like howl from his mouth.
"Awoo...!"
The originally prowling tigers and beasts, as if receiving a command, went berserk and charged at Lin Kong.
Watching the tide of tigers and beasts surge toward him, Lin Kong stopped caring about conserving the poison on his hand. He performed power with a leap, springing up onto a nearby tree branch. The moment he circulated his power, his blood flow sped up, and he felt a burning sensation in his hand. Looking down, he saw the poison spreading rapidly; his entire palm had turned black, with a clear trend of creeping upward. He clenched his teeth—at such a critical moment, even if it meant losing an arm he had to hold out. If he delayed even a little, he didn’t know if he’d die from the poison. But if he didn’t tough it out now, he would definitely die in tiger jaws—and not in the jaws of just one tiger, but of an entire pack.
Lin Kong stopped caring about preserving his martial power altogether. He performed power atop the branches, darting away in flight...
The tigers and beasts under the trees saw this and wheeled around in mad pursuit...
Rumble, rumble...!
Another small patch of forest toppled behind him.
Little Tiger let out a breath of relief, bent over, and helped Xuexue up. "Master, are you okay?"
Xuexue reached out to point at the wound on her leg and said, "I’m fine. Look, I’ve already bandaged it up!"
Seeing this, Little Tiger suddenly flickered and vanished. Xuexue knew he’d returned to the space, and couldn’t help muttering to herself, "Little Tiger is so unloyal, actually leaving a patient like me here and running off."
