I'm currently rewriting this novel from the beginning.
Well, to be exact, I'm just heavily editing this current story for now. So, it may take up to 5 to 7 days to for me to finish this and get back to writing the new chapters that you are waiting for. The previously written new chapters for this ongoing version are also getting abandoned because they would contradict the new version that I'm making. So, basically, I have no new chapter to post for now. And I also don't want to half-ass some content in a hurry to keep up with the regular upload.
In other words, for this 1 week, there will be no chapter upload. Hopefully you'll stay loyal and wait here for me. I will come back with an even greater rewrite, along with fresh new chapters for this new arc, "War in the Hyra County".
There will be a separate post here in the coming week about all the major rewrites that I'm going to make in this story. So, don't worry about feeling disconnected with the rewrite.
And also, just to be clear, this rewrite is not the same as my previous mention of a new reboot in this same universe that I was talking about back then. That is going to come in its own separate novel upload. I'm currently forming the main cast, plot, and power structure of that world, all while I'm doing this rewrite. That story may be about an elf in another world, but apart from that, almost everything is going to be different from this story.
So, why am I writing a similar story if I'm going to rewrite this story too?
Well, because I may be rewriting this story, but rewriting may only fix some major stuff in this first novel of mine. But I had a high vision for this story, as I have dreamed of making a story with this theme since my school days. So, I plan to completely start fresh with this reborn as an elf in another world as a slave theme in that novel. You could just say that, apart from the MC being an elf and a slave captured by humans, nothing might be common between this and that story. Yes, even the casts will be different, to not confuse the readers and myself.
